I used Vannoy's more than 10 years ago and had a horrible experience, so I hadn't been back--until…read morerecently. I developed a bubble in the sidewall of one of my tires, and the Vannoy's location on 9 Mile Road near I-10 was the closest shop. I called and spoke with Mindy, explained what I needed, and she quickly gave me several options. I chose a tire they had in stock and headed over. They replaced the tire, completed a vehicle inspection, and pointed out a few deficiencies--which is pretty standard these days. They provided a price for each repair, but there was no pressure or aggressive upselling. Fast-forward a few weeks: I needed tires mounted on my son's vehicle and the TPMS sensors transferred, and I decided to return to Vannoy's. I received the same great service from Mindy and watched her treat every customer with the same patience and professionalism. At one point, she took a call from what I assume was an unhappy customer regarding work completed under the shop's previous ownership--something neither Mindy nor the current team had been involved with. The way she handled the conversation deserves special recognition. She clearly explained the ownership change, made no promises or excuses, and still went above and beyond. She offered to contact former team members to see whether they remembered the work and promised to personally follow up with management to determine whether anything could be done. If you've read this far, it's probably no surprise that I recommend Vannoy's on 9 Mile Road at I-10--but even more so, I recommend asking for Mindy. She completely changed my perception of the business.

If you've ever had car trouble while traveling, then you know how stressful it can be. The flat…read morepart actually wasn't that stressful even though it happened 10 pm! But the next day... I was driving from Florida to Texas when my tire light suddenly came on. One of my tires had lost all its air, and I was only about 45 minutes from the hotel I'd booked as my overnight stop. While I was waiting on the tow truck, I googled tire shop and luckily found Fisher Tire & Service was super close. It was the first place I went in the morning. They inspected my tire and told me I'd definitely need a new one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my tire size in stock, so they sent me down the road to another shop. Walmart didn't have it either, and after calling multiple tire shops within a 5 mile radius of the area I was in, nobody had my size. I called Fisher back, and that's when everything turned around. They realized they had my tire in their warehouse, and the receptionist offered to go pick it up herself. I wouldn't venture to say she was enthusiastic about it but that level of customer service meant a lot considering I was stranded away from home. The older gentleman who installed my tire was a lifesaver. He was friendly, got everything taken care of quickly once the tire arrived, and had me back on the road. I don't think he realized I know a thing or two about my car when he started asking about the wheel lock. Better ask about me! Well... he can't, because I don't know not one damn body in Pensacola. This whole ordeal set me back several hours from what I'd planned that morning, but I'm thankful this shop was nearby. Maybe it was heavenly intervention that I picked a hotel close to Fisher to begin with. I'll never need them again cause who's driving that long ass route again but if you ever have car trouble in the Pensacola area, check them out.

After charging nearly $400 for unnecessary add‑ons, the low oil pressure light came on within minutes. They performed a second oil change, and the car failed again--this time in traffic on a busy highway where people are getting off of work and trying to get home. My vehicle sensor started I had no oil pressure, knocking loudly, and refusing to shift. Ford's diagnostic confirmed the cause: no oil in the engine block, metal contamination, and a fully locked engine. In other words, Take 5 failed to perform the most fundamental part of their job. Instead of taking responsibility, the store pushed me into a claims process and third‑party assessment while I'm left without a vehicle, transportation, or the ability to work. This was not an "honest mistake." This was gross incompetence that resulted in thousands of dollars in damage and a complete loss of livelihood. I strongly advise avoiding this location if you value your safety, your vehicle, or your legal rights.
