We had a fire recently at our house and a portion of the exterior burned pretty badly. there was also damage to a window, some pavers and our shade structure. This company was responsive to scheduling an estimate, even though they cancelled and rescheduled the original appointment. That's why this is not a one star review. After several days, I had to reach out and ask for the estimate to be sent to me, which was detailed (another plus). However, I noticed that the estimate I did receive had items on it that were not included in the original coverage given to me by my insurance adjuster. In an attempt to give the company the opportunity to revise their estimate and remove the items that weren't included by the adjuster, I received the following: "The estimate written is for the adjuster, if it's not in accordance with what you need, then we will be passing on the job." I get that all companies have a list a mile long for jobs that may pay more, but they could have simply told us they weren't interested when they came to do the estimate instead of including bogus charges for things that weren't even damaged. Their estimate is almost double from what the adjuster allowed due to the addition of extraneous repairs. read more

So the staff was great in the beginning until the garage door needed to be replaced and painted. It took weeks to get a call back then I had to call my insurance company to get it done because nothing could be done thru the office, then the garage guy was rude and did not do what he had said he would left wires hanging all over the ceiling from the garage door opener, said he didn't know anything about getting it painted to match the one that had been hit by my neighbor. Had a major flood and water damage from a leaking toilet. Found Advanced Pro through Yelp and contacted them immediately based on their reviews. They sent out a team same day to start the mitigation procedures. Next came demolition, then after insurance process they began the rebuild. Long story short, my little disaster ended up being a blessing in disguise as I was able to upgrade the flooring for a minimal cost with the help of my insurance coverage, and now my old house looks even better than it did when it was first built! This was our first experience working with Advanced Pro Restoration, And my husband and I were absolutely amazed with the level of high quality professional work we received from every single member of their business. Their Advanced Pro Office Administrator, Dayna, helped to answer all our many questions, explained each step in the process, and was very quick to send forms and to help organize and scheduling teams to come out so that work could get started and stay on schedule to help fix our home as quickly as possible. Advanced Pro Technician Francisco was extremely knowledgeable and able to clearly explain what he was seeing in the areas he was checking, and what would need to be fixed, when he was doing a very detailed initial assessment of the water damage areas. He also was able to show where there was additional hidden water damage by using scanning technology. Advanced Pro Repair Team Leader Kaleo, and his two helpers, were always on time and very polite, they were great with our rescue dog. Kaleo's team was very concerned about keeping surrounding areas clean and protected personal property, with constructing a protective barrier tent. A few months back I had water leakage coming out from within my walls and ceiling. Advance Pro Restoration was one of the companies referred to by my Insurance Company. My contact person from Advance Pro was Dayna. She was very knowledgeable and handled my situation flawlessly. I spoke with the owner as well and he was very helpful and nice. They sent out the first team lead by Kaleo to analyze and prep the work to be done. Next, Troy and his team from Golden Eye Plumbing were dispatched to pinpoint and repair the leaks. Another leak was discovered during the preventive damage pre-work. Damage from the leaks were in the garage, bathroom, hallway, and bedroom closet. Kaleo and his team did great work to prepare for Brad and his team to do the repairs and restoration. The finished work was incredible. The place looks amazing. I had a weird leak within the walls of my kitchen. It required tearing into a wall of cabinets to repair the leak and water damage that had occurred. Working through a home warranty and home insurance claims was becoming very frustrating, but the team at Advanced Pro definitely eased the pain of that process and restored our kitchen back to hood as new. Had a gradual leak coming from the AC in the attic, which ruined the walls of the laundry room. Got referred to this company by my home insurance, and I am definitely satisfied. They came in to do an assessment, and worked with my home insurance to make sure that most of the damage gets covered by insurance. They make every effort to work with your personal schedule, as they need to have someone at home to perform the work, or any other services that need to be done. Their office team is also in constant contact with you, and will notify you of any changes. The demolition and restoration teams come in as planned, and work efficiently. After the job was all done, the room looks like nothing even happened (except a new floor, which was badly needed). It took about 1 month for all the work to be finished, accounting for my availability to be home. I would recommend this company for anyone that needs a reliable restoration. read more

I had the best expectations for these guys, look at all these great reviews. Due to selling my home I had one or two good sized jobs and two little ones that had to be done from my seller repair order: I had a kitchen island that needed to be rebuilt due to water damage and inspected for mold, I had a potential water leak I needed investigated (and mold investigation), and I had baseboards in two separate rooms that needed repaired (and investigated for mold). I understand that the baseboards aren't big jobs, but the kitchen island was at least. And if we'd found mold under anything it would've been a sizeable amount of business. Brunston came out and from the word go I could tell he didn't want the job. Especially after I told him I already had a bid from another company; I never even told him their bid or asked him to price match. He kept telling me they were too busy and then he passed on the whole job. I had told the woman when I reserved exactly what I was looking for, and if APR is turning down jobs for being too small it would've been nice and I wouldn't have wasted my time. That aside she was super charming literally the nicest person to take an appointment in memory. That was the one bright spot in all this. The other contractors I had out gave me a much better experience. So if you are getting multiple bids, aren't having the White House renovated, and need anything to do with mold probably look elsewhere, these guys are too busy for us little people. read more

My master bathroom had a slab leak ...sight unseen! I claimed it through my insurance co. and they recommended Advanced Pro to put it back together post demolition to find where the leak was. I was very unhappy & frustrated at first because the amount of money that the insurance company came back with was very low and was worried I wasn't gonna have enough or struggle to get it back together. I guess I was also upset for this company to submit such a low estimate. So I did my own shopping around w/other companies. I did the numbers and it would've been a little less or about the same wout the guarantee of completed work & warranty. Of course the cheaper companies did not have licenses so that worried me & would hear horror stories about some companies not finishing or leaving the project. Advanced Pro assigned the senior project coordinator, Brad who reassured me that if they couldn't put the old materials back he would go back to the insurance & submit another budget for new materials or what I needed, etc. So w/that thought & a better piece of mind i decided to go w/ this company. Brad would put me on a budget, be straight up w/me and would always communicate on the costs so I'll know where I could skillfully put the money from the faucets, fixtures, mirror & down to the tile. I shopped for most of the products on clearance, Black Friday sales, etc. Brad mainly hired the workers (also shopped around for a better price on labor) to put things together, gave me input & advice here and there & made sure things ran smoothly. About 5 mos. later construction was finally done and I couldn't be more happier!! I would definitely recommend Brad as your project coordinator w/this company. When it was time for reconstruction they changed their minds and left us with the kitchen torn out. We tried to call multiple times and talked with the owner to no avail. I've waited for a while to write this review of Advanced Pro so I could make sure I could give a fair, accurate, and complete assessment of their work. It has been about 8 months since the completion of work and we have had enough time to see if there were going to be any issues from the work they did. This is a completely owner pay with no insurance involvement. I found a leak stemming from the shower in our master bathroom. The paint on the wall was in the beginning stages of sagging. At the time, I had a different plumber who recommended a contractor they used. I went to Angie's List and was not at all happy with what I found, so began going thru Angie's and Yelp, and found Advanced Pro. They were quick to get out to the house and were able to diagnose and find the leak. It turns out the grout in my stand alone shower had gotten old and pieces had fallen out and allowed water into the wall. As Advanced Pro's main source of residential business is insurance work, we discussed at length filing a claim. They told me that my insurance probably would not cover the loss because it was a slow leak caused by a wear and tear item that could have been prevented had I re-sealed or re-grouted my shower. In other words, I should have maintained my shower better. I called my insurance and discussed it with them just to see what they said. Basically, the guys at Advanced Pro were 100% correct. So, I hired A.P. to begin the repairs after some further searching to verify their good standings. My project manager was John and he was nothing short of stellar. By the time everything was said and done, I think I could have put him on our Christmas Card list. He answered his phone almost every time, and the times he didn't, I would have a call back usually within minutes of leaving a message. He also text's which helped out a lot when I was working and unable to take a call. They did the demo, found a little bit of mold, did the remediation on that, got it tested, and then began the repairs As we got into the repairs, we found out that the tile in my bathroom was nowhere to be found. These guys looked for 2 weeks trying to find matching tile. We discussed multiple options of how to proceed. In the end, we decided to remodel the shower and tub area. Now the challenge became to find tile that was close enough to the existing tile that it didn't look like a reno had been done and we couldn't find matching tile. John met us at the flooring/tile store, and spent about 4 hours with us picking and designing the new tile. His opinions were excellent, and he was very forthright with us in regards to how things would look. He was cautious as to not say "You're out of your mind. You don't want to do that" at the same as saying, "You're out of your mind. You don't want to do that". We REALLY appreciated the time he spent with us on a Saturday of all days, to make sure we chose new tile wisely. There were a few hic-ups along the way during the course of this whole project to include problems with the tub spout and the shower enclosure having to be completely custom made, but the truth is, even though the hic-ups added a few weeks to the scope of the project, it was John and everybody else at Advanced Pro's demeanor, that made it seem and feel not so bad. It has been 8 months since the reno was completed and we could not be more happy. We have had zero issues with any of the work that was done. The new tile, even though it's different, blends right in with the existing and does not stand out at all. It does look different, but it doesn't look like it's out of place. John and the team did an amazing job, and they will be my contractor of choice for any future projects I have in the future. As a matter of fact, 3 months later, I did call them because of a leak in my kitchen. This time it went thru the insurance company. We had no issues, and no hassles. Everything went seamlessly and smoothly. The bathroom remodel was about $12,000, and the kitchen was about $6500.00 before my deductible came out. A little on the pricy side, but the work was done well, correctly, and the service was awesome! I'll pay a little more for that! read more

Recently bought a house which had mold in the master shower. My realtor arranged for an estimate for remediation and reconstruction with Advanced Pro. I chose to have Advanced Pro do the remediation work (I plan on doing remodeling later so didn't want the shower reconstructed just yet). Called Advanced Pro to schedule a date and they were so pleasant to deal with! Since buying the new (old) house, I've dealt a lot with appliance repair people, home warranty people, delivery people, etc etc. If everyone was as professional and pleasant as the folks at Advanced Pro, I'd be one happy camper! Remediation isn't cheap, but when you know you're dealing with good people, who have a great reputation, it makes you a whole lot more comfortable accepting the cost because you know you're getting the quality of work you're paying for. The actual remediation process took a few hours. The workers sealed off the shower and did a great job of cleaning things up after. They left a machine (I think it's to dry things out) running for 24 hours after which the third party mold inspector came out to do his testing. Once the mold testing showed negative, Advanced Pro came back to the house to collect their drying machine. They were kind enough to leave the plastic sheeting in place over the space where my new shower will go. I paid half down and half when the work was completed. I highly recommend using Advanced Pro!! P.S. I used the yelp voucher. Paid $50 for $100 worth of service. Had no issue using it! read more
