I talked to and got quotes from countless other contractors and there is NO comparison between Gary and his team, and all the others. Absolutely incredibly smooth process, open communication, extremely engaged and on-point with every single aspect of the process. This is coming from someone that has never done a home improvement project and has been dreading and putting it off for years. I also completely lacked the knowledge of what options existed and what I should do. Gary patiently walked me through the whole process, offered explanations for every step, and provided options based on my budget. It was so great! So when it was time to add a shower remodel to the project, I literally said "do whatever you think is best." Now THAT is trust in someone that gets you and your vision, and you know will do what is right and within your budget. What a breath of fresh air! The projects will start tomorrow, and I couldn't be more excited. Will share photos after.

Not gonna lie, there's probably at least 1,000 handymen in the valley who could do a great job for…read moreyou. That's not why you should hire Mike & Mike...well not the only reason, because their work is top notch. The biggest reason you should hire them (and I absolutely acknowledge I'm an old man yelling "get off my lawn!" here) is "honesty and integrity." These guys come from the old school of standing by your work and letting it speak for itself. My wife really wanted a fridge with an ice maker but the house we moved into didn't have a water line for that. I was trying to get an idea of what it would cost to have one installed so we could decide whether it was within our budget so we could pick a fridge and move forward with our lives. You would seriously not believe how hard that was. I made it abundantly clear to everyone I talked to that I knew they couldn't give me a binding estimate without actually seeing the project, and I begged for just a guess at a range...would this be somewhere between $200 - $2,000, am I looking at more like $10,000? Am I going to need another mortgage for this? I talked to probably 20 different handymen. 19 of them pretended they had no idea what it might cost and wouldn't even give a ballpark or a range without sending someone into my home so they could use their high-pressure sales tactics to make sure they got my business. They had either never done a job like this before, in which case I didn't want them, or they were lying to me, in which case I also didn't want them. Mike and Mike were the exact opposite. I asked what they expected it would cost, and they made their best guess and gave me a range of the top and bottom end based on really hard or really easy jobs. They were super flexible and easy to work with, and when the job was done they came in at the very bottom end of what they had estimated. They were on time, quick, super respectful, and my wife is smiling ear-to-ear. So yeah, there's plenty of handymen you could hire who will probably do a great job. These two are the only ones I know of who will do that AND be good humans at the same time. Thank you so much, Mikes!

Extremely unprofessional and plain disrespectful! Avoid at all costs!…read more I have a project in my home for which I needed a drywall professional. Based on positive reviews, I reached out to AAA Pro Drywall & Stucco and a few other companies for a quote. I sent a detailed description of the project and photos via text. The entire time, AAA Pro responded with one word answers. It felt like pulling teeth. He eventually said that he'd need to see the room in person to give me an estimate. Valid! He suggested to do so this weekend and we agreed on the Sunday. It's my day off and I wanted to sleep in, so I suggested an early afternoon or late morning, but he made a big deal that it needs to be early, that he does all estimates early in the morning and then goes to a job site. He even said it could be a different day but again had to be early. After going back and forth for some time, we settled on 9am on Sunday. Comes Sunday. I didn't get to sleep in the way I wanted and got up at 8am to ensure I'm awake and ready by the time he arrives. At 8:50 I sent him a text saying how to get through the gate. No response. A few minutes after 9am, still not a word. It's not like too much time passed but I had a different company coming in at 10. Plus it was strange that I didn't hear a word from him. Finally, at 9:07 he sent me a message that he overslept. No apology, no nothing. He just said that he'll come at 10:15 ISH. He didn't ask me if this time worked for me, he just stated it. Like I have nothing else to do but sit all day and wait for his highness to grace me with his presence. I said 10:30 and told him not to be late because I had another estimate coming in. He said OK. 10:40 no sign of him. No text. Such a flake. Honestly it really bothered me that he is the one who made a big deal about making it an early appointment and then he overslept and didn't even apologize like it was normal. He acted like I will just accept any time he can throw at me. I have absolutely no doubt that if I didn't text him at 9:03 asking if he was still coming, he wouldn't even tell me he was late, he would just be a no show from the getgo. Of course he ended up a no show anyway. Some arrogance on this guy. Cool off dude, there are multiple drywall businesses available for the job, real businessmen with a work ethic. Don't own a business if you can't treat people right! Extremely unprofessional, arrogant, and a flake! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
