They called me back immediately and had the clearest pricing plan of any company in the Buffalo area. The day of our move they were on time and kept me updated on their arrival. They individually covered everything dresser, table, and bookcase to protect them. At the end of the move there was not a single mark on my walls or on any of my personal items. Most important these guys were respectful. Our move took all day and I never heard a bad word or inappropriate language. You always worry inviting a stranger into your house. These guys introduce themselves and we're polite to my whole family. Good Neighbors Moving was an excellent choice for our move and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I was kept informed of their status during the day. Arrival was exactly on the promised time. I was expecting a large number of people but was incredibly surprised when only 2 men arrived. They carefully took the item out of the shipping crate, working quickly and efficiently. When the time came to bring it in I expected them to call in more people. Incredibly they lifted the 500 pounds, brought it up the stairs, navigated the tight corner and placed it where it belonged. Even while moving the care used was impressive. Great pains wee used to avoid anything that could cause damage. There was no damage caused. This company is great at what they do and the price was more reasonable then expected. In spite of the challenges of the move both men were pleasant and wanting to keep us happy. They did a great job and we will definitely use their services again.

The crew was professional, and nice to talk to about how things were going to proceed throughout the day. They carefully moved everything out and back into place at the new house perfectly. They took care of everything and did it quickly. I can't imagine how long it would've took us to do it by ourselves or with friends. This place might legitimately be a scam. They cancelled my move Monday morning "due to truck…read moreissues," and asked to reschedule. I had to take an additional day off of work, and drive between my old and new apartment (Buffalo to Rochester, and Rochester back to Buffalo) because they couldn't make the day work. When the guys showed up to move me the next day, they told me that they didn't do the job yesterday "because Rob never showed up." So strike one, they lied about why the job was cancelled. Strike two, when they cancelled, I was told the regional manager is OOO, so they can't tell me what kind of discount I'd be able to receive for the inconvenience. They did take $15/hour off of my quote, but that only saved me $75 for an inconvenience that cost me hundreds. I expected the regional manager to show an iota of respect and give me a call the next day, even if it was just to say that they couldn't do more than that, but she never did. Not to mention, I was originally going to move on a Monday, and they charge more for Mondays anyway, so really all they did was bring me down to regular Tuesday pricing. Strike three, in order to let the movers go about the rest of their day, I had to pay the quoted price. I wasn't about to hold them hostage to get my discount, so Rick in Buffalo told me that he'd have Nicole (regional manager) call me and discuss the possibility of a refund. I've called to ask when I can expect to hear from Nicole about 3 times now and left detailed messages, and no one has gotten back to me. This is a terribly run company. Please, for your own sanity, take your money elsewhere.

I was asked to have someone be there 30 minutes before the movers were scheduled to be there. I had queried whether to have the movers would like to utilize a basement bay or the front door. I was assured that the movers would prefer to utilize the front door. The movers had a 2 hour window and they never made it to the office in that time frame. They called 20 minutes after the window and said they would be there in 15 minutes. 45 minutes after the 2 hour window they called back saying that they were at the basement bay. I informed them that I was told that they would prefer the front door. It was not until 60 minutes after the 2 hour window that they made it to the office. It took them 15 minutes to move the truck from the back of the building to the front. They were pleasant enough. They moved the items to where they needed to go. I am not impressed that after all the communication there was time lost and more expense for us because of the lack of clarity between Mike and his movers. I left a voicemail for each and only one of those even returned my call. Jayzey and his team are quiet, polite, focused, and super friendly. Their calm demeanor is appreciated during the stress of a move. They wore masks, didn't waste any time, and yet they were super careful. This is all I want from a moving company and only the first time I've seen it happen. We'll definitely be using them again.
