I would highly recommend them and would use them again. I interviewed three moving companies. These guys impressed me the most. They called me back immediately and had the clearest pricing plan of any company in the Buffalo area. The day of our move they were on time and kept me updated on their arrival. They individually covered everything dresser, table, and bookcase to protect them. At the end of the move there was not a single mark on my walls or on any of my personal items. Most important these guys were respectful. Our move took all day and I never heard a bad word or inappropriate language. You always worry inviting a stranger into your house. These guys introduce themselves and we're polite to my whole family. Good Neighbors Moving was an excellent choice for our move and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They called me back immediately after I sent a request for an estimate. These guys are very personable and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They were very patient and understand my stress moving to a new city. After setting a date and time, they called a couple of times to re-confirm and always kept in contact with me. Although they arrived late due to the truck not being available on time (and because they are coming from Buffalo), they called me to let me know their ETA. They treated my belongings as their own. Jade was so kind to double wrap my medical degree when he realized that it did not have enough protection before placing in the truck. Scott and Jade work very well together and did an efficient and speedy job getting my two bedroom worth of belongings into the truck. They then drove to Pittsburgh same day and unpacked my things into the rooms designated. They had a grueling day which did not finish until 9 pm in Pittsburgh but they were professional and always had a positive attitude. I very much enjoyed having them moving my belongings, and I am very pleased with their work. I have endorsed them to other colleagues of mine who are looking for movers, and one of them hired Scott and Jade for later in the week. I had numerous phone calls with Mike and we traded phone calls, texts, emails. I was asked to have…read morea person at the site where items were to be moved from. I was asked to have someone be there 30 minutes before the movers were scheduled to be there. I had queried whether to have the movers would like to utilize a basement bay or the front door. I was assured that the movers would prefer to utilize the front door. The movers had a 2 hour window and they never made it to the office in that time frame. They called 20 minutes after the window and said they would be there in 15 minutes. 45 minutes after the 2 hour window they called back saying that they were at the basement bay. I informed them that I was told that they would prefer the front door. It was not until 60 minutes after the 2 hour window that they made it to the office. It took them 15 minutes to move the truck from the back of the building to the front. They were pleasant enough. They moved the items to where they needed to go. I am not impressed that after all the communication there was time lost and more expense for us because of the lack of clarity between Mike and his movers. It cost me approximately $50 because of their lack of communication

They took stuff I am only now realizing and about two months in, I thought my armoire was in spare room, they took it. Looking for my dehydrators (3 of them) no where to be found. I can only imagine what else they took. Do not trust them, they will take advantage of the situation and since I was highly stressed because of "friends" who were to help me sort did not show up on moving day. I am disabled and was unable to do much with setting things up so told them to just shove the rest of the stuff in the spare room. Hopefully those guys got what was coming to them and they have been replaced with honest decent people. We all reap what we sow. Should have wrote this a long time ago, it is way too late to do anything now :(

Joe and his team were simply fantastic. They showed up at our house right on time, took a quick…read moretour of what was being moved and then got right to work. They truly treat your belongings and house as their own and make sure to protect everything from any damage. They even put blankets down everywhere to protect carpet and flooring from damage/dirt. When we arrived at the new house they did the same thing. My wife was able to specify where everything went and how is was to be put in each room. Everything went better than I could have even imagined. I can't thank Joe, Gio, Joe IV, and the rest of their crew enough. From the moment they arrived, until they left, they were just the most hard working, respectful, and enjoyable guys to be around. I cannot recommend them enough. Since they finished so early, they helped us brainstorm other tasks they could do for us to fill out the minimum time. They reassembled our bed, helped unbox and place a tv, and took all the plastic wrap off everything. I was so relieved by their competence and helpfulness!
