Super easy to do fingerprints, no wait, located inside the UPS/college store, $69 for prints (cheaper than doing at SDSU)

They are tucked into a small space off Washington Street in Mission Hills, CA. Perfect little business to shop locally.

If you're looking for a business mailbox, I caution you against Mail Station!…read more I signed up for a box with them in January 2024. At the time, customer service was great and I was really happy to be a customer. For a long time, I got my mail and had no issues. (Though I did often have package slips but no package) Then, in February of 2026, I got very sick, resulting in a hospital stay and major surgery. Once I got out of the hospital, I realized my payment to Mail Station hadn't come out of my business account. I called multiple times. No answer, so I left a message with my name and number explaining that I had been in the hospital, but I wanted to bring my account current if possible. I wasn't able to even walk at the time, so I couldn't go in. I never got a response. I assumed I'd changed the card on file and that my account was current, as I never heard anything. That was my mistake. In June 2026, I am finally physically functional again. I go in to check my mailbox and notice the mail inside isn't for me. I approach the counter and say, "I think my mailbox has been reassigned." They confirmed it had. I ask "Why, was I delinquent in payment?" The older man and the young woman behind the counter look me up in the system, but said they didn't know why my box was reassigned. I asked where my mail was. They didn't know that either. They asked if I had been out of town for a bit. I explained I was in the hospital getting surgery and hadn't been able to come in. I explained that'd I'd called Mail Station, and even left a detailed message with no response. They said, "Oh. Wow. Well, we don't know." So: - Mail Station closed my account without any attempt to contact me. No calls, no emails. If payment is the reason for the closure, I would've happily taken care of my account if I'd been contacted. As it stands, no one can confirm why my account was closed. - Mail Station reassigned my box without asking for the key back or changing the lock on the mailbox. This gave me access to another business' mail. That's not cool for the other business owner. I wish I remembered their name so I could let them know. - Mail Station lost, threw away, returned, or otherwise misplaced my mail but couldn't tell me anything about it. - Mail Station didn't attempt to in any way resolve the issue and I barely got an apology. They didn't even ask for the key back--I volunteered it as I never want to do business with them again and it's super unethical for me to have access to another business' mail. If you value your mail, which I assume you do since you're looking to rent a box, Mail Station is NOT your best option.

I needed Live Scan fingerprinting for my new job and found Scripps Ranch Mobile Notary on Yelp. I…read moremessaged Dipti via Yelp and she responded pretty quickly and was available to meet me the next day at my desired time. She was very quick and easy to communicate with via Yelp! She told me what to bring with me so I was ready. I met her at her residence; she has a small professional area set up right when you walk in through the door. The whole process was very smooth and I got my fingerprinting done in under 10 minutes. Dipti was very kind, friendly, and did the job quickly. She signed off on my paperwork and told me what would happen next. I had a really pleasant fingerprinting experience with Dipti and would highly recommend doing your Live Scan with her as well as her other services! :)

I recently completed a livescan with Dipti at Scripps Ranch Notary & Live Scan. To say the…read moreexperience was stellar would be an understatement. My schedule is jam packed and every day is a full day. Dipti fit me in to a tiny window of time I had on short notice. She made sure to prep me on what would be needed. Upon arrival, parking was easy and there was no waiting. She had everything set up ready to go. Her testing facility was clean, had the latest tech making the experience seamless and you could see she was a pro at using it. Dipti is one of the most pleasant people you could ever meet. Overall she made getting this needed service an experience you would have expected to pay a premium price for, but instead her rates were quite reasonable. Thanks Dipti & Scripps Ranch Mobile Notary & Live Scan!

I needed to have fingerprinting done and initially assumed I'd be able to swing by my local post…read moreoffice, only to find out they didn't offer the service. Turned to Yelp and ChatGPT, and this spot came up on both, so I decided to give them a shot. Called ahead, explained what I needed, and they walked me through everything to make sure I'd be good to go before making the trip. I stopped by on a Friday (no appt needed), and the guy I spoke with remembered me when I walked in and got me taken care of right away. The whole process took what felt like five minutes. Couldn't have been easier. One thing to note; they're tucked just off busy street of Garnet, and the sign can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. But once you find the place, there is a small parking lot, along with street parking if needed. Overall, quick, easy, and good service.

I came here to take my passport photo for a Canadian passport and it was so quick and easy…read more Canadian passport regulations are different and the sizes are different and they did it all quickly and correctly. I do wish they would have let me seen my photo prior and asked if I wanted to retake as I absolutely hated the one photo they took. And when I had my photo taken at Staples before they took a bunch and let me choose and then even redid them for me. The place is kind of tricky to get to just because of its location off of Balboa before it turns into garnett. And I don't think they have their own designated parking lot. I think we parked just in a public parking lot or it might have been the old Bank parking lot. I'm not sure but we were fine there for 15 minutes. The price was pretty good as well. I think I paid around $25 for the two photos. I recommend this place if you want quick and efficient.

Absolutely UNHINGED customer service. (*See the response below as well)…read more "Open 24 hours" apparently means "call at your own risk." I was up at 4 a.m. getting ready for work, could not book their advertised same-day Live Scan online, and called the number they provide. The man who answered was shockingly hostile. He talked over me, repeatedly berated me for calling at 4 a.m., and lectured me over and over that he "only answers the phone for emergencies," apparently an unwritten rule new customers are somehow expected to know. He refused to hear that their website was the reason I called and then hung up on me. Insane business model, but go off. ***********RESPONSE Thank you for responding. This way everyone can see how defensive and unprofessional this business is. What I have stated in my original review is the truth. I am not going to respond to the entire word salad posted here because it attempts to bury the real issue, but here are a few clarifications. You said: "Please feel free to show us where on our website we advertise Live Scan services as available 24 hours a day. " I did not make that claim. I said, "could not book their advertised same-day Live Scan online." I called the number provided on the website to ask a question about navigating the website NOT for a "Live Scan 24-hour service." You said: "The phone number is answered after hours strictly for genuine emergency notary needs." Please direct me to where your website tells customers that the phone number is for emergency notary needs only after hours, because I did not see this. Also, what is "after hours" for a business that is listed as "open 24 hours?" Can you see why a new customer may be confused or not understand the business model? You said: "Calls are monitored and recorded for quality assurance." You may want to announce this to customers who are calling. I think this is a good thing. You said: "laughing was audible in the background during this call" This is impossible. It is wild the length you are going to deflect. Your response speaks for itself.
