Roberto came out, did a blower test, comprehensive walk thru with the thermal camera and we talked about issues and what solutions would work. We came up with a plan. Work was completed well, quickly, and when they were done they cleaned so well you'd never know they were there. Very pleased with the results. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID…read more I had Robert out in July for an estimate. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Eventually made it to scheduling 8 weeks out... fast forward to today OCT 1st... I never received a confirmation that they were coming or a time frame they would arrive. They show up unannounced while I'm at work and are repeatedly calling/emailing me. The office manager, Leslie, left me a nasty email. When told that I was not home because they never confirmed, she replied with "We do not work that way. Never have, never will." She was extremely rude and unprofessional. They were not happy that they traveled a distance and I was not home due to the lack of communication. How is this a proper way to conduct business? It is 2026. A confirmation that you were coming and a time frame is pretty standard for business nowadays. If you're mad about me not being home and you traveling a distance then maybe you should have confirmed the appointment. They also didn't even offer to reschedule. When I told them I could have someone there in an hour I was told we had to cancel the job all together. My business clearly means nothing to them. Needless to say I do not recommend using them for anything.

We noticed there was some mold growth on the roof decking in the attic but we weren't able to identify the roof leak. Luckily, ecoliving services offered their building science expertise, and informed us that the mold growth wasn't due to a roof leak, but of inadequate ventilation as well as a bathroom exhaust fan that was vented to the attic. They educated us on the cause and how the trapped moisture has no where to go and it forms mold. We felt very comfortable with their knowledge so we went with the for the work. They were thorough, well priced, and extremely clean. They even corrected the roof vent situation and the exhaust so the mold doesn't return. Gus was fantastic and a true professional. Highly recommended.

Our whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end in working with Jim and his team…read more Jim and his team were punctual, professional, and easy to communicate with either by phone or email. Jim's initial assessment of what we needed felt very honest and he spent a lot of time answering our questions and helping to educate us on why he recommended certain things and not other things based on our home and what he saw in our attic. The price we were quoted felt fair based on the work that was needed, and the rebate that Jim was able to offer was also a gamechanger. We'd happily work with Jim and his team again for our energy related needs. For context the work that we had done was having additional blown-in insulation added to get up to code, sealing gaps & air leaks, and adding weather stripping around our hatch to create a better seal.

After getting multiple quotes for air sealing and insulation for my attic, I decided to work with…read moreJim from Energy360 Solutions. While other assessors came across with a salesman approach, Jim was super practical and realistic from the start about my options. Like I was initially set on getting cellulose for my attic, but Jim pointed out some limitations given the age and construction of my home (condo built in the 1970s). He mentioned examples of older places with cellulose developing issues like sagging ceilings. No other assessor mentioned this, so deciding to work with Jim was an easy choice. He was honest and only recommended what worked best for my situation. As of writing this review, it's been over 2 weeks since his crew came and completed both air sealing and insulation. Before, my second floor would always had a 4 to 5 degree temperature difference from my main floor. Since their work, there is no significant difference. I even checked the temperature consistently for a few days just to make sure. Whatever they did, it's made a huge difference! Overall, I'm very happy with Jim, his team, and the quality of work they provided.

I told the rep that other companies have inspected our home and stated that our walls are suitable for blown in insulation. ARC never came to visit our home - while their competitors did this as a standard account management cycle. Fast forward to this week, I was ready to sign the agreement and pay the deposit - the rep asked me to confirm the 2x4 framing. I asked him how he wanted me to do this - he suggested I drill pilot holes in each wall or pay a 3rd party to do this and that ARC was not responsible for verifying the details of our home. Not responsible for validating a critical project detail before having you customer pay thousands of dollars?! Extremely poor customer service and frankly, a lazy sales team. I am sure the crews doing the work are great, but the accounts team could use a refresh. I will work with a competitor unless ARC has employees willing to visit their prospective customers!
