UPDATE: they dropped the door stop off today (5-17-24) so I upped it to 3 stars. We had a shower door installed by them in March. Their price was better than anyone else around here. Original date was March 7, and 15 minutes after the install window started, I got a call that the glass was scratched and they had to reschedule. That sucked, but understandable. Next available date was the 14. They came on the 14. My mom was there and sent pics of the finished work. It looked good. However when we got home, we saw that at both points where the hinges were screwed into the tile, the tile was cracked. (Brand new tile, btw). That was very upsetting because there was a lot of time, energy, and money put into all of this. I also know it can be done WITHOUT cracking it as we had to screw into the tile ourselves and did it slow, steady, with a diamond bit and some water. Clearly they didn't. I would assume a professional company would know how to do it without damage over a homeowner, but clearly that was a bad assumption to make. We also noticed they didn't put the door st stop on it so there is about 3/4" gap between the door and the wall on the non-hinge side. We reached out that day and mentioned the tile and door stop. They responded on 15th and said they would have to talk to upper management. Understandable. I heard nothing so checked in on March 18. They responded on the 21 saying they were still waiting for a solution from management. I then told them that we would just want the door stop. We didn't want to have the tile redone and have to pay again to have someone to have it fixed when we just paid to have it done in the first place. They said they could have the door stop delivered that day. Later that day they couldn't come because they "ran out of double sided clear tape". They would be there tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, I texted and heard nothing back. I reached back out on May 9 (things got busy) and they apologized and said they would be there between 2 and 4. I told them they don't even have to install it. Just bring it and we will will ourselves. They never came. I emailed this week and they said, again, they would bring it on the 16. No one ever came. Basically, you can expect to get the glass you pay for. However, the service and professionalism are non-existent. read more

STOP!!!! Do not hire this company. We have been without the use of our primary shower since July 18th. We wanted a frameless shower, they came out and took measurements, waited almost a month for the glass to come in. Scheduled an appointment for installation, after 3 1/2 hours finally completed. After checking out their work, I noticed the glass was crooked and silicone was everywhere i, e, floor, tub, areas where it should not have been, as well as on my rugs. Called office to complain and ask for a manager, a manager came out and saw that the glass was installed improperly. He remeasured again and we had to wait yet again for another piece of glass to come in. Once that glass came in, scheduled another appointment for installation and after about 1 1/2 hours, found out that the glass that was ordered was the wrong size. Today, Sept 26th still not installed. This company should not be in business. read more

I do not know how this company has managed to get good reviews, they have bad customer service and they I don't know about the "expert" in their name. I contacted this company to purchase a frameless glass shower door as well as installation. I was told the tile in my bathroom needed to be done before they could order the glass, I contacted the company and they came out to do the measurement, my bathroom had to be re-tiled so the glass company came back out a second time to re-take measurements. I placed the order for the glass on 28 May 2019 and was advised the glass would take better 7-10 business days for delivery. I was notified on 7 June that the glass was ready for installation, the company gave me an appointment of 11 June between 11AM and 2PM, I accepted the appointment. On the day of my appointment the installers came around 12:30, that was not an issue, but around 2:30 one of the installers came and asked me to come upstairs. To my surprise the door was not installed. I was told the glass company sent the wrong size glass. I was told the shower was measured again and the company would order the glass again. I was called by the company and offered an apology or a new timeframe in which to except the door. I called the company a few days later to inquire I was told they were trying to get the glass but they didn't know how long it would be. On 20 June I received a call stating the glass was in and they could install same day between 12-1. I wasn't available for that time but my contractor was at my house so I took the appointment as they said they do not have Saturday appointments which is weird because the installers said they did as well as the office when I called to check on the glass a few days after the failed installation. When I got home from work I went to check my bathroom and noticed the door was still not installed. I spoke to my contractor and he told me they said the company sent the wrong size glass again. I did not receive a call or email from the company informing me of this! I couldn't believe they did the same thing and now failed to inform me knowing I was not at home. I have waited almost a month for a frameless shower door and nothing, not even an apology about what happened!!!!! read more

We are listing our home for sale and three of the windows never would stay open, and one was broken completely. Initially I thought one complete window replaced and two hardware springs replaced. Nassir repaired the broken and adjusted two of the hardware springs resulting in only one set of hardware springs needed to be ordered. I was so appreciative I offered him significantly more than he thought he should receive and he gave some back. No kidding. I called U.S. Window Repair (the DC number) following a break-in at my row house. The experience was positive all the way around - from the phone conversation, to the on-time arrival of the person who came to my home to the one-day turnaround on a replacement window (and he also boarded up the broken window, for a fee, which was money well spent for the sense of security and because there was a thunderstorm the night in between). They're also replacing the screen that was damaged in the incident. Another company I called said it would take 7-10 days to get a replacement window and quoted me a higher price. While on-time arrival and being straightforward shouldn't be remarkable, they unfortunately are. U.S. Window exceeded my expectations. read more

Subsequent email follow-ups were also very responsive, unlike other companies I contacted for the same matter.
