I recommend homeowners do some research before working with this company. I found their business…read morepractices to be sketchy but do your own homework and decide for yourself. The company does not appear to be transparent. The website and rep claim their office is in Fenton but the business addresses registered with the Secretary of State are as follows: James & Kimberly Mills who filed articles of organization in 2015 (not 20 years ago as I was told by the rep) is at 438 E Clinton Place in Kirkwood. Another "Mills Window and Siding" company is registered with a fictious name located at 5355 Hagemann Crossing, Sunset Hills, MO 63128. I recently met with a rep from Mills Window and Door after getting a coupon in the mail. I was told the 40% coupon for siding would be from the "suggested manufacture price" and ultimately the bid would be competitive - so the coupon is merely a "bait and switch". I was told I would be paying 3% more if I used their "interest free financing" or a credit card. Mills Window and Door policy is to get 50% down but the work won't start for 2 months and they control the scheduling. When I questioned my concerns about paying 50% up front then having to be held hostage for at least 2 months to get the work done is not a benefit to me as a customer. One would hope a siding company would stock standard white siding. I was told they have been around for 20 years and have tons of great reviews. The original company was registered with Missouri Secretary of State in 2015. The "fictious company" was registered in 2022. Reviews can be manipulated as we all know and I would recommend homeowners get names and phone numbers from actual customers they have done work for in the past 3 months or don't use them. I informed the rep I would do my research to ensure I am dealing with the original company that has been around that long and he quickly skedaddled stating we were not a good fit. I agree.... I don't like working with companies who are not transparent and want to charge up front then not deliver the service for 2 months. I found the lack of transparency, multiple addresses and business practices unacceptable and felt it important to warn other homeowners to do your research and get actual recent referrals and bids from other companies.

Where to begin. #1…read more Our friends use to own this company and sold it to the new owner Jake. This company is no longer owned by anyone in the Gallagher family. #2. Willie at Gallagher is a straight up con man and lied about everything from siding to gutter guards. #3. Gallagher uses all unvetted illegal labor on your home. The horrendous job completed by them resulted in over 40 different issues excluding the fact that they did not waterproof my house by replacing the Tyvek and blatantly lied to my face about it. I had them pull back the siding and could see the results, they apologized and replaced the entire job after much deliberation. #4. They (Willie) went out of their way to show me these beautiful aluminum gutter guards and had me hold them showing me what was going on my house. They tore off all of my perfectly fine gutter guards and replaced them with cheap crap that blows off constantly all over my house. #5. When contacting Gallagher attempting to speak to the owner, he blocked me. When I requested that they either follow through with what was promised or replace what I had before they ever touched them, they EXTORTED me for an additional $1,700. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT HIRE THIS SHADY COMPANY.

However, they employ salesmen that disregard boundaries and harass you into services. Jeremy Abney continues to contact me for business after I've declined multiple times. I was introduced to Jeremy originally 1-2 years ago when he was a subcontractor with a different company. During this time, Jeremy missed the appointment with the insurance inspector and my claim was denied. Jeremy reassured me he would work with the insurance company for a reinspection then stopped responding to messages. He reappeared at my door months later--unannounced. He explained that he was working for himself and would love to move forward. His explanation for disappearing was 1) a diabetes diagnosis and 2) he was no longer with the company due to unethical business practices. I told Jeremy I would let him know if I wanted to do business. He continued texting me to replace my roof after I made it clear I was not interested. I thought I finally got rid of him, until he showed up at my house--unannounced AGAIN, now working with this company.
