Review is edited after further communication with the company: Quality Glass and Mirror has made…read morethis right and I'm changing the one star to a three star. I felt communication was very lacking but I've been told there were some outside issues going on and I believe them. They have resolved this issue to my satisfaction. I would give it a five star review but due to the errors made here I was unable to accomplish my job tasks for several days. Things do happen though and so I understand every interaction can't be perfect. In business there will be issues but the true mark that matters is based on how things are handled when there are. I would say the initial interaction went south but quality glass made up for that and so I feel I must correct the record. So my rating is an average of the initial experience and how they handled mistakes. I think what's important is how they made up for the initial problems. They get a five star for that part in my opinion. Initial review: I made the huge mistake of doing business with this company. I would love to believe that it is merely incompetence or total lack of concern for their customers but I think it's actually absolute dishonesty. Communication is not good at all. I asked for a quote for very specific glass at specific dimensions. I was asked if I wanted polished edges or unfinished edges and I answered. Days later I didn't have a quote yet so I said, "If you don't want this project, I can go elsewhere." A quote was sent. I accepted and asked them to send me an invoice. It was sent and by transfer I paid immediately. Days went by and I heard nothing. I was just expecting a confirmation of receipt of payment and an estimated pick up date. I emailed, nothing. I called and left a message saying I thought I deserved some acknowledgement of my order. I was called and given a pick up date. It came and the only person there had to close early so I was told I could get the glass from a pick up spot. I took the cracked glass from my exposure unit to the dump and went to this establishment to find my glass outside with a post-it note on it. I got home and it wasn't even close to the dimensions required to fit my exposure unit. I needed to work so I made a contraption to make it halfway work. That cost me $50. I emailed and told them the dimensions were wrong. It wasn't even like mixed up numbers. I suspect I know why they had to leave it outside. Perhaps so I wouldn't measure. To add to the insult I don't believe it's the type of glass I need and ordered. The order was supposed to be fixed today but as usual they did not call. I will have to call and stay on them. This time I'm reviewing first and asking questions next. I just want what I ordered and paid for.

On a fateful Saturday, we faced the devastating sight of our home's front heavily damaged when the…read moreparapet wall atop our 100+ year old brownstone dislodged, fell, and collapsed our porch. Amidst the shock and uncertainty, we called Patrick Khalatian's team at Pakk. Pakk's team paid us a visit on Sunday and began work prompty on Monday, professionally coordinating with our insurance company. With meticulous care, they cleared away all the debris, leaving the property clean and safe. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Pakk also reached out to the city authorities to expedite the restoration of electrical and gas services. This ensured that we had access to essential utilities as soon as possible, especially since we had food in the freezer and needed our heat! We were impressed with how Patrick and his team team went above and beyond by engaging in negotiations with the homeowners' insurance company. Their expertise and professionalism ensured that we received fair compensation for the damages incurred. It was a long process restoring the home to it's previous style and decorative appearance. Original materials are no longer available. Patrick researched alternatives and found solutions to make the home look like nothing ever happened. That was very important to us since we had restored this property carefully when we bought it. We also didn't want to compromise any of the value of the house. Throughout the restoration process, Patrick Khalatian and his team maintained constant communication with us, providing updates and addressing our concerns promptly. They really care about customer service. Although it was a harrowing experience to find the front of our home collapsed, we knew that Patrick and the team at PAKK had the restoration well under control and could trust them to handle everything well. We were not disappointed. In fact, I'd say the y did far more than we expected. ----- Patrick Khalatian, founder of Pakk, shared his team's dedication to providing exceptional restoration services. 'We understand the emotional toll that home damage can take on families,' he said. 'Our goal is to alleviate the stress and anxiety by providing swift, comprehensive, and high-quality solutions.' The homeowners' experience with Pakk serves as a testament to the company's unwavering commitment to delivering peace of mind and restoring homes to their pristine condition after unexpected events.

We recently had our basement finished by Meyer Contracting and are very pleased with the results…read more We sat down with five different contractors before choosing Meyer. After meeting the crew that came out on day one, we knew we made the right choice. We also could tell that everyone on the crew enjoyed their job and the company they worked for. The entire process was very smooth from start to finish and everyone who showed up to do the work were very kind and professional. We were kept informed with what work would be done each day and they stuck to the schedule as promised. David Neu originally came out and listened to what we wanted, added a few great suggestions, put together and sent us a very detailed drawing of what the finished project would look like. He also explained the entire process from start to finish. He made us feel comfortable with having Meyer as our contractor. He was very kind and sociable and had a great sense of humor. Our project was completed as promised with only a few very minor touch-up items at the end which they promptly took care of. We were amazed with how clean they kept everything with so much construction going on. They take pride in their work and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything. The office staff (Rachael and Sara) were very kind and helpful with all of our question when we called. Overall, we are completely satisfied, and we would highly recommend Meyer to anyone looking for a home restoration project. Jesse and Pixie H.
