Thanks to a 18 year old speeding, my Durango went from a Dodge to a target. The front of my left side was destroyed cosmetically, and most of the people I talked to thought it was going to be Totalled. I looked online and found Yelp. Came across Advanced Collision Center and noticed the other two reviews that seemed solid. So I made the arrangements and had my SUV towed to Joe- and he's awesome. I think because my SUV was discontinued the parts took a little longer than usual, but by the time it came out of the shop- she looked just the way she did before I got hit. Joe is awesome- Will [Geico Official] is too. They took care of me, and they restored my Durango back the way it was. I would recommend them for any job, if they could fix the way my car looked and made it look like nothing ever happened, they can do the same for you. My only complaint is that there isn't more Joe's in the world- if there was? Our cars would always come back pefect- and the whole ordeal of dealing with a car accident would be a lot easier. This place was awful. They kept my car for about 2 months, did a subpar job fixing my back hatch on my Honda Fit. They should have ordered a new part to go around the window but didn't and it looks terrible now. They also broke the side panel on my car. They rushed me out of there before I could look at everything. Never going back there read more

Staff was helpful and professional and I would do business with them again anytime. Joe, the owner, extended the true meaning of ALOHA to me when repairing damage to my Toyota Van. 10 days after I arrived in Honolulu, someone did a hit and run on my vehicle. I was already dealing with the damage caused by Hawaii Car Transport during shipping. Joe not only did an excellent job repairing my van, but he also repaired, at no extra charge, the damage caused by the shipping company who refused to cover the damage they caused. The offices are clean and modern, not dumpy like most auto body places on this island. The people were helpful, and Joe was especially nice if helping me out. We had to get some work done on our car when an old lady hit us. Minor damage, basically the lower trim piece had to be repainted. When we went to pick up the car, the color match was perfect so I was happy.... until I noticed that the piece had a HUGE crack where it fastens on to the car! I'd like to believe someone overlooked it, but really? I tend to think someone noticed it and hoped we wouldn't. I've got an eagle eye when it comes to our cars so I noticed it immediately. That piece was cracked on the opposite end of where the lady scratched our car, and I know it wasn't cracked before we dropped the car off. It was damage from putting on or taking off the metal trim. The car had to go back in the shop and they replaced the piece this time. What a pain. They pair up with GEICO so it's convenient, but first impressions are everything - we no longer use Advanced Collision. The owner/manager didn't contest that they cracked the piece, but it was still disappointing to be without our car, then go to pick it up only to have to reschedule for it go back in the shop again. read more

My truck had got rear ended over the weekend, took it into the shop on a Monday afternoon, owner Joe was was professional and super nice, my car was done by late afternoon! Just picked up my car today after damage repaired on my back bumper. Very shallow dent and big scratch next to it. My car was ready as promised in 3 days, granted the shop was full and they were short handed when I dropped my car off, I thought for sure they'd run over the promised date. Nope! I opted to have this shop do the repairs on my car after being involved in a very minor hit and run accident. I went through GEICO and they had me bring in my car to get an inspection. My repair was scheduled more than three weeks out because they needed to order parts which would take 7-10 days. When the time came to drop off my vehicle on a Monday, I was told it would take five days - assuming I would get my car back that Friday. I called on Thursday just to double check with them and they said that they are still waiting on my rims so my car would be ready by the following Monday (which is today). I called them today just to be sure everything was going to plan and they then told me they are still waiting on my rims and that my car will be ready by the end of the day. I just called their office (5:45 pm) after not hearing from them the whole day, and no one picks up the phone. This is so inconvenient and unprofessional. I have already been waiting a month now for this whole process and with their lack of communication, I am very disappointed. read more

This is the worst auto repair shop I've ever encountered, not just in Hawaii but anywhere. I'm a Geico customer who was referred to Advanced to have approximately $600 worth of damage repaired. I originally contacted them in May 2014 and they refused to work directly with the customer and would only work via Geico as the intermediary. After escalating my concern with the sheer lack of service and reception I received from Advanced to Geico, they intervened and asked me to give Advanced another call. I did so and once again was given the run around although this time they agreed to at least look at my Geico estimate. The estimate was emailed to them but we never heard back from Advanced. We contacted them again approximately two weeks later and got the run around again. Every time we called this place they essentially just want to take your name and number to call you back but then never call back. So this was the case during this call, they took my name and number but then heard from them again. We waited another two weeks and tried again, same reception, same run around. From May to July multiple attempts were made by both myself and Geico to work with Advanced to set-up an appointment to no avail. Eventually I received a call back from Advanced offering to make an appointment but one three months away, in October. We had already waited two months to even have Advanced properly engage with us and then they wanted us to wait three more months just to schedule us in. Not because parts needed to be ordered and it would take that amount of time to come in, but simply because they felt they didn't have any availability. Advanced has the worst service I've ever seen nationwide. I can't imagine why they are a Geico certified repair center. Being flabbergasted by the treatment and sheer lack of professionalism and service we received we once again to our concerns to Geico's regional VP. Geico looked into the matter and all involved parties within Geico agreed the timeline was inappropriate and the service was fair less than what Geico expects from one of it's vendors. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose their agreement with Geico, but fundamentally I'd avoid this place at all cost. There are plenty of other repair shops on the island that do good work and didn't give us the run around. At the end of the day Advanced simply just didn't want to fix our car for whatever reason. read more
