Sent in by State Farm since they are a State Farm Approved Body Shop. I called and advised I was concerned about driving in for an estimate but the front end had been damaged and I might have to have it towed in. They asked for pictures to be submitted. I received an email response stating they are a small business and couldn't handle a tow-in and I believe it was also due to the type and older model vehicle. I guess when you get the corporate insurance backing, you can pick and choose how to and IF you want to take care of the insured. Filing complaint with State Farm and they can deal with it. read more

These losers want you to pay $50 so they can tell you how much to pay them to get your car repaired. The other Tesla certified body shops don't charge for estimates, do the logical thing and get a free one from elsewhere. About 6 weeks ago, I was going up the ramp in the parking lot of my gym when I heard the sound no one wants to hear...... my car scraping against the wall of the ramp. Oh no! I got up to the 2nd level of the parking lot, and jumped out of my car to survey the damage. This body shop was a recommended by Lexus Hawaii. I went down to get an estimate. Reyanne came out to take a couple pictures and we left the car. We were told that the repair to the rear fender and bumper cover were going to take about 6 days but it was completed a day earlier. I was impressed that everyday, we would get an email letting us know on the progress. The duration of the repair was spot on. I picked up my car and you wouldn't know that it was damaged. They only deal with insurance claims. There customer service was excellent the office people were all friendly. I came here because some one had hit me in an accident and the person had farmers insurance and this was one of the places on their list. They are open monday threw Friday. You must tell the insurance person you want to use them and then call the auto body shop to set up an appointment to get an estimate and they will let you know if they will take it right then and there unless they need to order some parts. They will inform you and keep you posted. They did a good job, it took about two weeks for them to fix my truck. They also washed it before I picked it up which I thought was nice. I went to KW Auto Body because they were approved by my insurance company. The first place my insurance sent me to had a 6 week wait so when KW said they could take my car in 2 weeks, I was overjoyed. It was easy to set up an estimate and sure enough in two weeks they were able to take my car. The repairs took 3 days and my car was ready for pick up right on time. I'm happy with the work, the receptionist who helped me was professional and answered all my questions. They are conveniently located down the street from Ala Moana shopping center and when the rental car agent was running late, they allowed me to leave the rental with them. I would like to share my experience with K.W. Auto Body- Ala Moana. 1) When I arrived to pick up my car at my scheduled pick-up time, K.W. Auto Body was running late. There were five workers washing my car when I arrived. It looked like they were rushing and trying to get the car finished as soon as possible. However, in their haste, one of the workers must have been using a dirty rag with some debris on it because my car got several massive scratches from their washing/drying. 2) The area of the car that was repaired and painted by KW, the paint was blistering so I had to return to the shop to have this fixed. This shows that they did not check their work upon completion. 3) There was a new, small dent on my vehicle that wasn't there when I dropped it off. 4) The manager didn't take the time to address, listen to, or acknowledge my concerns. He just didn't care. There was no complete inspection of my car when it was dropped off so I don't understand how the manager can say that the damage to my car was already there. read more

Someone vandalized my brand new Mercedes. This shop has the best reviews and location for what USAA will take. They got it done 4 days ahead of schedule and you literally can't tell it was damaged. Although unfortunate I've had to use their services more than once, they are a top tier Auto Body shop for sure! I can only speak of the airport location but hopefully the Ala Moana location is just as good, I think they may provide different services. They will deal with various insurance company's directly, finish the repairs in a timely manner and do excellent work. They are very busy so getting an appointment for your estimate may be the difficult part. My last interaction with them was awesome and prompted this review. While speaking to the office on the phone and trying to nudge my way in for an estimate without an appointment, they recommended I use their website and upload photos and wait for a reply. Surprisingly, the reply came within hours and they said I would need to bring it in as the front bumper damage (from a nice woman's negligent shopping cart action at Costco) was fairly minor and they have to asses it in person. Well, that led to an expedited appointment and a super thoughtful service representative in the office photographing the damage and grabbing a repair guy to come out to the front and work on the car. Within minutes, the damage was rubbed out using a compounding agent that matched the cars color and a power buffer (all while my baby slept in her car seat). In the end, I thanked both of them and went to walk back to the office with the service rep. He said, "okay, you're done" and gave me a fist bounce! I said I can come in and take care of the paperwork and payment. He said there's no need, it's all good. I feel badly that I don't remember his name but I recognized him from another repair I had done in the past. My other experiences with KW Auto Body we're just as pleasant. This one was for my wife's car but I will bring all my auto body repair work to them and highly recommend them to others. read more

Long story short, my car got side swiped while parked along the street. I was fortunate to have eye witnesses and the person who did it owned up to it. Insurance paid for everything. I waited about two weeks for an estimate appointment. Due to parts being back ordered, I had to wait about a month to bring my car in to finally get fixed. I took my car here for a damage repair estimate after USAA referred me to them. The soonest available was almost a month away which is understandable. When I got there, this big lady was all smiles and took pictures. Took less than 10 minutes. After, she tried to get me to sign to get it fixed there, I told her I only needed the estimate sent back to USAA because I will be looking elsewhere to get it fixed. My insurance company had a preferred list and this was the closest to where I live so I choose them. You first have to call and schedule an estimate because they only do estimate by appointment only. My wife said was very fast. Once they got the paper work from my insurance company I scheduled to drop off my car. One week later I picked it up, paid my deductible and happy with repair. When I picked up my car everything looked good and I was satisfied of the job they did on my car. But on the next day at home when I tried to start my car it would not start and later found out the battery had died. I had to have a friend help me just jump start it and had to purchase a new battery. It made me wonder if it had something to do with when they disconnected it to make repairs so I gave them a call to inquire about it and the manager told me that the battery was not fully charged and that they had it charged half way. They did not bother to notify me about the problem and if they had told me at the time of pickup I could have gotten it replaced free because of warranty. Instead I could not get it replaced from original source and had to purchase a new one because I could not drive to there. Very disappointed because of this and could not give them a better rating. read more
