Couple weeks after I notice a strange sound coming from the side that was repaired. I contacted Tiffany and we scheduled a time to look at it. From start to finish, I had such a great experience! I swear the moment I pulled up the Geico lady was ready to help me. They provided me with a quote and took care of the coverage. They gave me a estimated time when the repair will be one, drop off and pick up. They also went over what they need to replace and if I needed a loaner rental vehicle. The advance collision lady helped me schedule ASAP repairs. I had dropped my car off and it took exactly 5 days + an extra 2 for Infiniti to recalibrate my car. They returned it to me as BRAND NEW. I absolutely love the professionalism and the communication. They called and texted me throughout the time and sending me updates on my vehicle. Went to shop and the person told me I came on the wrong day, after I ask him to check because I confirm it with the shop days before my arrival, plus I had an email from the shop to confirm my dates, after checking, he told me I can leave my car. No apologies but I'm sure customer service was a priority for him. Had to wait outside the shop due to COVID but wish they offer you a chair or something to sit on especially if you have to wait for your rental car if you need one, which I had to do for 40 mins. I guess they don't do social distancing or clean or want to clean the waiting area/room. They repair the scratch I had on my car and I got it back the day they said I would. In my opinion, if you need a simple repair they might work for you. If you need a business with good customer service during these times I would look elsewhere. read more

My Honda Fit was hit twice in 3 months requiring replacement of the front bumper cover the first time and rear bumper cover the second time. Advance Collision's work not only beat the insurance estimate but the fit and alignment of the panels were excellent. Not sure if they do it as a normal thing but they also detailed my car after which made me fall in love with it once again. I was very grateful for having met and actually talk to the young man that did the repair. He was there to check in my car as well as turn the finished car back over to me. Talk about having pride in one's work! Here is the rest of the story... the front was done by the number #1 (quantity wise - appointments for estimates take 1 week and repairs 1 month out! ?) repair shop on the Insurance Company' list of approved shops as well as Honda Dealer recommended. Unfortunately, the fit of the replacement bumper wasn't very good due to either the aftermarket part per the shop explanation or lack of attention to detail In my opinion. The shop said I was the 1 out of 10 that are never satisfied and by the way... the car has been in an accident. The second shop on the Insurance Company's list refused to take the car because of my issue with the first shop. Open up 7 months ago, this would be their second shop. They have another one in Waipahu. It's a Geico shop, so you know your repairs are guaranteed. Nice looking lobby! I went in because a big ole yellow pipe jumps out at me while backing up. Don't you just hate when that happens? Joe and the Geico rep were extremely helpful in squaring everything away for me. Took 2 months to get appointment to fix my car. Then they actually did a piss poor job and I took it to another place even though they would have fixed it again. The reason I didn't take it back to them was because they then told me that to come back in for repair would have been another ridiculous amount of time. Bottom line: Take your cars elsewhere. Takes a while for repairs but then again car repairs in Hawaii can take a while no matter what shop, especially if additional items come up during the repair process as getting parts can take a while. This place has a nice seating area when you are waiting for your pickup or your car to finish. AC and TV with comfortable couches. I had to fix my car three times in the past 5 years. This is my second review of this bodyshop, just like the first time- as the old Star Market commercials used to say; it's a five star experience. Long story short; my tailgate had some damage because of a hit and run, I was salty because I eyeballed it and knew it'd cost less than my deductible so I'd be coming out of pocket. There's very few shops I trust simply because I feel like majority are out to do a fast job and get people out the door to take on a new job, Joe and his crew isn't that place. I dropped my tailgate off on Tuesday (5/2/17) about lunchtime, Joe (the owner) removed and disassembled the backup camera himself and took me in on very short notice. He told me give him a few days, that was more than fair seeing as he's a very busy guy with a lot of business just by looking at how many vehicles he has in his workspace. Jump ahead to today (5/8/17) and I get a call around lunch time telling me to pick it up , it's ready. Per usual, I go there and Joe is ready, he brings it out with one of his crewmen and I'm blown away at how sharp it looks. The color match is perfect, the damage is gone, no trace of it whatsoever. I thanked him for another excellent job and I left with a smile despite it being Monday- because well, the truck is back to being perfect again without that ugly cosmetic defect ruining it! I can't stress how good he is both a person and a business owner, he's always honest and will NEVER mislead you. He will give you a fair estimate and never tack on stupid charges for stuff that shouldn't be messed with unless absolutely necessary. Tucked in the busy streets of Honolulu is this oasis. Needing to repair our front passenger side fender, advanced auto collision was referred to us. When we dropped the car off, it was hard to find a place to park at first because, as I mentioned earlier, this is a very busy area. One of the workers saw us trying to park near the shop entry and politely directed us to an area in front. I mentioned "politely" because most of the time you get a harsh directive in a very busy area. This was not the case. The worker (wish I got his name) walked us to the office, opened the door, and said we should hangout in there because it's cooler. He was right! When we walked in the office/waiting room, there was no doubt in my mind that this company is huge on customer service. Very clean and inviting. Made me feel like I was in a modern hotel living room. Joe (I think he's the owner) made us feel very comfortable during our wait for the rental car shuttle. Oh yeah the shuttle. We saw the shuttle leaving while looking for parking. It was suppose to be a 20 minute wait (which we didn't mind because we were so comfortable in the waiting room). Instead of having us wait the 20 minutes, the staff called the shuttle driver to come back and get us! How cool is that. Very impressed. Less than a week later our car was finished. Car was washed and tires were shiny. Car fixed quickly with no problems, cleaned, and top notch customer service. Highly recommended!! Also! This place is horrible. The front office girl is as rude as can be and the mechanics obviously are not good at what they do. I get a call in the office by the front office girl telling me I have to "come get your car right now" when I explained that I can't just leave work in such a hurry, she got super agitated and told me she had to leave. My boss was kind enough to let me leave to get my car. When I got there, she practically ran me over as I was walking into the front office. Then onto the car. I was rear ended and the shop kept my car for approximately three weeks. And viola the trunk won't open and the guy as me why the trunk doesn't open. Uhh are you kidding?? Did I not drop my vehicle off for rear damage to include the trunk? So he told me to come back the next day. I finally pick my car up Thursday and noticed the repaired area is already chipping. Additionally, the trunk make a really weird "farting" nose when it closes. Definitely not a pro.. my bf also got his car repaired and isn't happy either. Of course we didnt have a choice but to use this place since we were both hit by driver insured by Geico. Hope i do not have to deal with these people ever again! read more

I must say there has always been a bad stigma associated with used car dealerships and body shops in today's society because the majority of people think they are shady and are going to get ripped off! But I must say, not this establishment located in Honolulu. Advanced Collision center doesn't fall into this category. They are grade A professionals and know customer service. I had my car repaired here over a year ago and my headlights were unaligned. I called them up and Joe the manager said no problem, come on in and we will fix it for FREE!! I came in and within 15 minutes it was done. This place is awesome and I recommend if you need any body repairs to your car. Oh no...The pillar attacked me from the side!! More like, I took a narrow turn and scraped the bf's car pretty badly. As small as the dent-slash-scrape was, it started to rust. That's when the bf said I need to fix it. I yelped a couple auto shops near kakaako but this establishment is right by my work place so nowhere else could beat the proximity. After getting an assessment on my damages from a Geico rep, Advanced Auto Collision (AAC) took my car in for repairs. This place is on the list for Geico's go-to auto shops that you can get a copy of from the claims rep. AAC said it will take approximately 9 days to fix it...but I got a call that it was fixed in 4!! The staff is all friendly, and the best part is is that they went above and beyond by fixing all my existing small key scratches ON ALL 4 sides of my car without me having to pay a penny more or asking for it. They washed my car before pickup. I can't be more pleased with this shop. Very, very impressed. I recommend to everyone!! read more
