Thanks to yelp, I found Thomson Hvac The tech and I thought it should be a simple fix. He inspected my entire system, diagnosed the problem, and quoted the job. We moved forward with the fix, and it worked fine, and then it didn't. After a few more visits, and some more parts and tinkering, it finally started working properly. Although it was a strange and difficult situation, they stuck to it until the problem was resolved. The techs Danny and Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. Another thing to add, the way the company communicated back and forth with me was great. They answered every call and every text. Most of the time I spoke with Stacey and she was great. If you're looking for an honest and professional company, this is it.

My mother recently engaged a service provider for routine maintenance on her air conditioning unit,…read morewhich included the installation of a new Honeywell thermostat. Subsequent to this service, she has reported that the air conditioning is not effectively cooling the premises, with only the fan operating. I advised her to adjust the thermostat to a lower setting. Given her advanced age of 90, her discomfort with the warm air became increasingly pronounced. Today, in collaboration with my brother-in-law, we investigated the issue. We observed that while the unit appeared to be functioning, it was not producing cool air, despite the outdoor fan operating correctly. During our investigation, we contacted the service provider, Thomson. A representative stated that only the thermostat had been replaced and that a service technician could be dispatched for a fee of $159, suggesting a potential wiring issue. Upon reviewing the Honeywell thermostat instructions and wiring diagram, we identified that the thermostat had been incorrectly wired to the "W" terminal. After rectifying this wiring error, the air conditioning unit resumed normal operation, producing cool air. I subsequently contacted Thomson for clarification regarding the initial service. Their response repeatedly referenced a previous replacement 14 months prior. While their online reviews are predominantly five-star, our experience suggests a lack of professionalism. This incident raises concerns about the necessity of recommended services and the quality of workmanship, potentially indicating errors or intentional oversights during the initial installation.

They were punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, the work was done exceptionally well, and they truly went above and beyond. We had a very bad experience with a contractor a couple of years ago, which left us pretty hesitant when hiring contractors again. Kyle and his team completely restored our faith. We also had a few unexpected hiccups unrelated to their work, and they were incredibly accommodating. They worked around those issues and our busy schedule and still delivered exactly as promised. It's rare to find a professional like Kyle who is this knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely committed to doing things right. He and his team are exceptional, and I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to anyone. If you're looking for HVAC or AC work, look no further. You won't regret calling Air Time HVAC!

I went down the rabbit whole with the size and type of system to install. Kyle had the best solution along with the best quote. They cut a second intake vent into my ceiling, something the other guys didn't think about when they were trying to sell me on their more expensive systems. You can't buy a system that's too big for your house. They brought the best solution forward. The energy bill went down substantially. And Kyle and Juan have been super-responsive to a couple issues that came up. I highly recommend them.

They originally booked me for Saturday but told me they would call if an earlier appointment became available. To my surprise, they contacted me the very next day because of a cancellation. Our technician, Fabian, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He took the time to explain what was causing the issue and also educated us on the importance of routine A/C maintenance to help prevent future problems. I really appreciated that he answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. The entire experience, from scheduling to the repair, was excellent. It's hard to find a company that's responsive, honest, and reliable, but this one exceeded our expectations. We will definitely continue using them for all of our future heating and air conditioning needs. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with Southwest HVAC…read more I called Southwest HVAC in April to have my AC serviced before summer because I have a newborn at home and wanted to make sure our system was reliable before the hot weather hit. I specifically took the initiative to have the unit maintained ahead of time because keeping my family comfortable and safe was a priority. During that visit, Southwest HVAC charged me $1,000 for a capacitor and a hard-start kit. I thought the price was extremely high, but I agreed to pay it because I trusted that I was paying for professional service and, more importantly, peace of mind that my AC would be ready for the summer. Fast-forward ONLY FIVE MONTHS and my AC won't even turn on. Naturally, I called Southwest HVAC expecting them to stand behind the work they had performed just five months earlier. Instead, I was told I would have to pay another $100 diagnostic fee just for them to come out and look at the system. That's what I find completely unacceptable. You charged me $1,000 to service and repair my AC, and less than five months later the system isn't even turning on--and your response is essentially, "Pay us another $100 and we'll take a look." If you are going to charge customers premium prices for HVAC work, I expect a reasonable level of accountability when the equipment fails shortly after you serviced it. I shouldn't have to pay another fee simply to find out whether the work I already paid you $1,000 for was done properly or whether the components you installed have failed. The timing is especially frustrating because I specifically had this work done BEFORE summer precisely so I wouldn't end up in this situation. I have a newborn in the house, and now I'm dealing with a non-functioning AC in the middle of summer after paying this company $1,000 for service only five months ago. $1,000 in April. AC completely dead in September. Another $100 just to get someone to diagnose it. That is not what I consider good customer service, and it certainly isn't what I expected when I paid Southwest HVAC to service my system. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion and comparing prices before giving this company your business. Based on my experience, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the way they handled the situation afterward.
