My check engine light was on so I went to have them run the code and what came up was the mass air flow sensor so I asked if they had it in stock and they did so I bought the part. Mind you when I walked in I was immediately greeted and Jack helped me. He then told me he could put the part on for me in the parking lot. I told him my son could do it so he really didn't need to. He said it wouldn't be a problem. He explained to me what he was doing and what it would look like when it was bad and literally put it on for me. It was such a kind gesture and in my opinion he went above and beyond and needs some recognition. He left me know that the light would go off after a little bit and it did! After meeting Keaton, they took their time on a Saturday to prep my car for a roadtrip (installing skid guard) and told me to come in for something minor a few days later. Without having to wait, they took care of it on the spot at the time we agreed and even put an engine cover on my car without me asking for it. I find Keaton very honest and he's truly passionate about what he does, taking you through nooks and crannies of your car. People rarely talk so passionately about their work like he does. I think Keaton is the type of guy who would work on VWs even if he wasn't paid to do it.. You walk in and feel welcome by the staff.. and the dogs as well!

I chose this store as it's the closest to my home. I got in and I'm already hyperventilating when I got in. This is completely foreign for me! Mind you, the only I know what to do with cars is to add gas on it! I don't even know how to pump my tires! Yeah, it's that baaaddd! Anyway, I was pretending to really know what I'm doing or what I'm looking for. The aisles have labels so I should be fine. Then I get to the headlights aisle and my golly I don't even know which one I'm looking for! Good thing this lady is on the same aisle as I am with a price tag her on. I assumed she worked here and we struck up a small conversation. She made me feel instantly comfortable that I mustered the guts to tell her "I have no idea what I'm looking for!" She laughed at me and motioned for me to go to one of the checkout counter. She asked the make and model of my car (thank goodness I knew!!!) and then showed me the screen of the headlights I can use for my car. Phew! Well, that was just the first part. I shyly told her, if she knew how to put this little thingy on. We got to my car and I don't even know how to pop this friggin hood! She just kept laughing at me and I laughed with her because of my stupidity! Well, finally I found the lever and popped the hood up (praise Jesus!). She then tried to remove the old bulb but was having some trouble so she went back in and asked her colleague to come out and help me. Shortly after, this guy comes out and did the work for me. I know this may sound really absurd but these guys really made my day!! They did go out of their way to help this clueless mama! Now, I know one of my brake lights are out but I'll let hubby handle that one. I'm outta here!

Also, sexist comments and jokes by every male worker I've encountered. Got an AC compressor under warranty, it inevitably broke because of the poor quality, and when I tried to return it, they said the warranty only works if you had gotten the "complete AC repair package"; meanwhile, they don't even sell the other parts for my car because it's 30 years old. By the way, no one offered me that "package" when I purchased it.

I called Mustang Auto Repair for help because my check engine light had come on and my car failed…read moreinspection. Scott advised me that changing spark plugs might actually solve the problem. (i had 179,000 miles on the original plugs). I changed plugs, reset the check engine light and took it back in and it passed inspection! So Scott saved me a lot of money with free advice. I would not hesitate to take my car there for any future mechanical problems.
