MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE! I went there to buy a new battery, two guys "installed" and all of the sudden said that a screw got stuck in there, and I quote " THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT". What do you mean you cannot do nothing about it? They gave me a number for a person that could help me for a "reasonable price". They are not taking the responsibility of their actions, I paid for my battery and now I can opt even use my car because they messed it up. read more

This morning my life started out like a sad country song. Everything was going wrong and just when my day seemed like it could get no worse, my car broke down. I had to get it jump started and I called around to the nearest garages by my house, hoping to get a new battery installed quickly and go on my way to work. I was told that it was going to take a minimum of three or more hours and I was already late for work. Luckily I found Advanced Auto Parts store near my house and Francisco, their salesman was amazing. He explained my best battery options clearly and loaded up my new battery without charging a penny for the installation in no time. It was the best customer service ever!!! read more

Terrible and uneducated service , don't bother going to this store ! I went to buy engine coolant for my vehicle . I asked the lady which one the correct engine coolant is fit my vehicle type, year and model . She didn't even check on the computer and pointed a bottle out to me . I blindly trusted in her suggestion which was a huge and expensive mistake for me. Just a couple hours later my truck would give me alarm signs and just stop. I had to tow my truck to Range Rover and was told I added the wrong engine coolant . Unbelievable!!! Everything together cost me over 750$ in towing and repairs . I called a lawyer to see if I can sue them . But this is what to expect when you go to this store and this company . Absolute garbage !!! read more

Having a car battery croak on a Friday night is no one's idea of fun times. So when it happened to me a few hours back - after my regular mechanic was closed - I used Yelp Mobile and found this store by my location. After my auto insurance emergency service gave my ride a jump start I drove the literal three blocks to this store. While waiting for the car service, I called and spoke with Jimmy, who said he had my car's battery in stock and could change it himself. Once I arrived, he checked that it was just the battery, brought one out and installed it for a nominal fee. He was very pleasant and the price was very close to what was quoted. My husband arrived store at 8:50pm doors were locked , lights on and someone sweeping the floor he needed two led light blubs and had driven from Miami Beach to this location Just for that. After two minutes of rattling and knocking the doors the assistant manager sweeping the floor finally came to the door my husband showed kind of led light blubs we needed for our car. He conferred with another assistant manager and then decided that the store was closed. We pointed out that getting those blubs take about 2 minutes and that opening hours of the store are until 9:00pm. At the point, it was. 8:57pm it did not help. Obviously, sweeping the floor was more important than serving a customer who politely requested to buy an item within regular opening hours... Very unfair,unprofesssionas, and absolutely not ok. One of the most disappointing experiences in service we ever had.. it wasn't acceptable for what they did to my husband for nonsense being super rude and had stupid parking officer putted a fine tag on our car for parking at wrong zone fined us $46.00 over ridiculous thing! Living in Downtown, this is my go to auto parts store. Had a problem with starting my 2017 Nissan and headed over to check out my starter, alternator and battery. Store is always well kept, clean and organized. Steve was very helpful, removed my battery and patiently answered my questions. He was very knowledgeable and provided outstanding customer service! Ended up buying a new battery because my existing battery was the original causing the starting issues. Steve gladly and expertly installed my new battery and I was on my way. Easy and quick! while my bike was getting worked on at my favorite bike shop a few blocks away, I set out to find a couple of tools and parts that I was missing for my car project. Luckily, I stumbled upon this store and based on some previous experiences I have had with the other stores from this chain, I knew I was going to find what I needed here. The unknown piece was, how the human interaction better known as customer service, was going to unravel. Long story short, among one of the items I needed was a specific tool for which I didn't know the size, so I brought the bolt with me to get the right measurement - I got excellent service and they even offered to let me take the tool with me to install the bolt on my car, now that was pretty cool and certainly very good customer service. I travel through this area often, I will definitely consider this place any time I need parts or tools. read more

Came here right as they opened so it was just me and one other customer. First guy I said I had a question to that was waving his right hand while typing with his left hand cut me off and said he's too busy. Second interaction I had was at the register when I asked a question about the product before spending $50 on it and this miserable lady looked at me like I had 2 heads. Then she went to the back to ask someone else and he said "it should work" before even comparing the product to what I was using it on at home. Go to any other auto store because this staff collectively hates being there and doesn't like doing what they literally get paid to do. These guys are always quick and knowledgeable. I like to keep my cars clean so I go to the $6 car wash on 29th street and normally stop by here to get a car freshener or rubber towel to keep the water spots off. They got everything you need and always offer to help. It feels good to have some young guys that work for these stores that treat you like your business matters. I like to hook them up every once in a while with a cold beverage on a hot day for all their troubles. Rude guy and girl working, obviously frustrated with where they work. Just asking simple task they were giving faces. I had to completely get my battery out find the tools that they pointed at and I had to go behind the counter myself to get them. telling me my car needed a 10mm wrench when it obviously didn't fit, (12mm ended up being), just bad service, feel like your inconveniencing them with every request or question. Must be the later shift, been there before and wasn't that bad. Idk just a recent experience. I saw 4 stars and figured how's that possible. Sorry maybe next time. read more

Jimmy saved my life when my battery started to putter and I was afraid my car would not start again. Being trapped with a child in the heat, with rude, angry people on Biscayne Boulevard and no one to rescue you is no fun, so I am glad I was able to avoid that potential scenario. He and Christian were very friendly, though ultimately, Christian got busy and Jimmy took over. He tested my battery and confirmed it was on its dying breath. He looked up my car model and offered me a few battery options. Since the best was also the most expensive (figures) at $200+, I got the second best, which was a little more inexpensive. Within about 10 minutes, I had my battery swapped out. This is very convenient, especially if you're car-illiterate or would not know what to do with the old battery. They take care of recycling it and clean out your terminals so that the new battery performs at its best. The batteries come with a 3-year warranty, which is also great, and has saved me once before when the battery died sooner than it should have. I have also purchased compound here before to get rid of scuff marks on my car and do my own buffing. They are always very helpful, even when they get busy and could afford to slip up on customer service. Never had a bad experience and I have been here maybe 5 times. read more

I have yet to go to any other Advanced Auto Parts and get the same quality customer service I get here. They know my car here and I always engage in conversation with the employees. I come here to get fluids for my car since I do my own oil change. They're the only ones who usually have my Royal Purple engine oil in stock. My car use to display the CEL quite frequently and I didn't have an OBD II reader on me at the time. They always cleared it for me without any complaints, which I wouldn't have blamed them if they did. Subaru and their ridiculous P0457 issue. This store is clean and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable with car issues and what parts you need. The employee carried from my car the used oil and helped me dispose it, which is great because I was afraid I would have dropped the containers since I'm clumsy. read more

Come find or have ordered any car part you are looking for. Prices are reasonable and with the help of coupons, they become even more reasonable. The only grudge I hold is the entrance to the parking is only accessible if you are traveling North on 2nd Avenue. Only one entrance and the traffic around here is usually congested. read more

Never had problems before, but I just came this morning to buy a new battery, the guy was kind of rude and got irritated when I asked him to find my coupon that I never used in the system. Terrible customer service in this place! Every time I come here I always get rude employees that have no interest in helping me. Especially last Saturday morning, I went to get a new battery for my car, I stand on one line and after 7-10 mins of waiting the guy at the register, Davidson, tells me to go to the other line because he needs to replace somebody else's battery. So, I go to the other line where Abe (or some name like that) is at, wait another 5 minutes for my turn, I buy my new battery and ask for help replacing it, and Abe tells me that he can't until he finishes with all the ppl behind me. So, I took my battery, went outside and spent the next hour trying to replace my battery, struggling a lot because I didn't have the right tools, and in all that time, neither Abe or Davidson approached me to offer help after seeing me there for a while. I go back inside to give them my old battery and even, with no other clients on the line, Abe takes his sweet time to give me my refund for the old battery because he was too busy telling Davidson how much of a liar some girl they work with was. I am never coming back to this place ever again!! read more
