I will now go nowhere else but here, thanks to her. If you need an experienced person to talk to this is the person you need. The store is in a difficult spot to get into but it is well worth it! I hate going to part stores because they try to make you feel like your stupid and shouldn't be there and that is most of the auto parts stores in Wallingford just a half a town away. I later went into the store to speak with management and was met with the rude individual who ignored my daughter and a manager that lacked customer service skills. The vaunted VQ35DE for my 350Z. 113K on it, it was $1000 flat. Other than the aforementioned starter, the engine has been balls to the wall, easily upgraded, and reliable as heck. Not leaking, not burning too much oil for these engines (a quart per oil change - trust me, that's normal). Seven months and about 9,000 miles of service later, can't complain, especially since I drive the thing like a maniac sometimes. We'll see what happens with that starter. I'm looking for a refund, not a replacement, since I went with a reman. So they got lots of used parts, from engine components to the entire engine. Service is decent enough for a junkyard... if you don't leave feeling embarrassed, I'd say that's under par for the course :).

Places like these can be a treasure land for mechanics but it's also a gamble because you may or…read moremay not find what you need. The yard size is quite decent with a variety of cars, trucks, and SUV's. I'd say there are probably 100-200 vehicles in there. The only problem is these so called "mechanics" that work in the place tell you they have the part you're looking, but when you get there they don't and you don't find that out until after you've paid an entrance fee into the yard. And it sucks even more if you had to drive several hours from another state just to get there to get ripped off =/ But it's a junk yard so I guess even the inventory system is a piece of junk Moral of the yelp: don't go to junk yards that are two, three states over just to waste your time and money. but for instate residents it's definitely worth a shot for the small fee
