I have faithfully used Smoky Hill Auto Servive since I purchased the car (2010 Toyota Rav4 4WD Limited), so I ordered a tow to bring it to SHAC, and spoke to Phil pre-arrival. At 12:30 pm, less than 3 hours after arrival, Phil called me back to advise that the cause was a dead battery, which the shop replaced under warranty, My car was ready for pickup...free of charge! I have always been treated with courtesy, honesty and precise service @ SHAC, never with any overselling or price inflation. I'm fairly knowledgeable about cars and do most of my own work but this issue with the car left me and obviously "Nick" dumbfounded even though he'll boast about spending sooo much time on it -Thats nice bud, car still isn't fixed- and the shop kept whining about the "aftermarket" parts I installed even though they are pretty much the equivalent but didn't bother listening to what all I've done and ruled out, so after I had reached out to get an update they said my aftermarket fuel pressure sensor wasn't putting out the exact OEM pressure and wanted to replace it with an overpriced OEM one (mind you I already replaced it when I pulled the rails and injectors) but like an idiot who just wanted my car to work I said yes not knowing they over charge out the rear for labor, 2.6 hours to take a manifold off? and 455$ to do it? that's insane and guess what? it didn't fix anything, so I had a super unpleasant call with I guess is his wife I wasn't pleasant but I wasn't rude either her on the other hand? Jesus, like lady you people have had my car for a full two weeks and I've had to do all the reaching out and the car isn't fixed, but here's the kicker when she gave me the total I was awestruck so I mentioned I was gonna dispute that with Nick so she blew up on the phone (super unprofessional) seems like they've been down this road before. He was attentive and professional. He took great care about doing a good job and helped me find something else I forgot I needed. What a great young man to have working in that store.
