Huge Thanks to Ed!…read more What a day, what a day! What started as a quick stop for gas in Cary turned into a full-on car emergency when our vehicle refused to start. After a kind couple's attempt to jump the car didn't work, we were feeling pretty stuck--until we realized we were literally across the street from an O'Reilly Auto Parts. I called the store, and that's when Ed became our hero of the night. Without hesitation, he walked across the street with a jumper and got our car running again. And he didn't stop there! We headed over to the shop, bought a new battery, and Ed even installed it for us right then and there. Ed was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind--exactly the kind of person you hope to run into when your car dies and you're stuck with your plans derailed. I can't thank him enough. He turned a stressful night into a reminder that good people still exist. If you ever need car help in Cary, O'Reilly's is the place to go--and Ed is the guy you want helping you out. Absolute legend!

Ed at the High House Road O'Reilly Auto Parts truly came to the rescue!…read moreI initially stopped in because the tail lights on my husband's car wouldn't turn off after parking and removing the key. Ed quickly diagnosed the issue and found the exact grommet I needed--problem solved, or so I thought. When I went to leave, my own car wouldn't start. Jumping the battery didn't work, and Ed suggested it might be a faulty starter (which turned out to be exactly right). At that point I was pretty frazzled with two cars out of commission, but Ed stayed calm, kind, and incredibly helpful. He let me leave my car overnight and even suggested options for getting home. Thanks to him, I was able to Uber home, fix my husband's car, and deal with my own car the next day (which was indeed diagnosed with a bad starter). Ed's knowledge, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond made a stressful situation so much easier. Exceptional customer service!

I brought the car to the Ford service center to have the electrical system looked at ( for a $125 fee!). The service tech said "you need a new battery it tests "recharge and test"". I told them that I didn't believe it was the battery. The ford service tech said "computer isn't showing any codes" and refused to do any other diagnostic tests. He said they could only sell me a new battery (at $155!!!) but that was it. I picked it up decided I wasn't going to spend any more money Ford "Service Center". I took my Cmax back to my Morgan Auto mechanic and showed him what Ford said and he laughed. He said, he would test the electrical system and see if he could figure it about. 1 HOUR later the Morgan mechanic called me and said he found an electrical ground and fixed it and believed that was the draw on battery. Ford Service center is a JOKE. Their service people are no better than tech support. Morgan employs actual mechanics and actual repair your vehicle.
