Don't bother. Going out of business. Taking online orders but you can't get into the store to pick up.

I love the app and emails. The reviews that are negative do not make sense...know the value of the service. I have brought my truck here for tires, basic maintenance, smog etc. I do not expect them to troubleshoot complicated issues quickly. I will keep bringing my vehicle here for friendly, fast, effective service.

I brought my car in for a broken belt and damaged alternator. After being quoted nearly $1,900, I reached out to another shop and the ford dealership. I was told several of the labor charges overlapped so I called and asked for them to review the charges and they ended up lowering the price and instead of dealing with the hassle of taking it to a different location, I agreed to the repairs and ultimately paid $1,700. I was told my car was ready and running great, within ONE MILE of leaving the shop, my dashboard displayed a charging-system warning and battery light. On top of that, my A/C, which had worked perfectly and always blown ice cold, was suddenly blowing nothing but warm air. I immediately brought the vehicle back, and Pep Boys confirmed that the replacement alternator they installed was defective! To make matters worse, when asked about the A/C issues they then claimed my A/C had a refrigerant leak and quoted me another $600 to fix that. The A/C worked perfectly before I brought the vehicle in, and now I'm being asked to spend even more money. Whether the A/C issue was caused by their work remains unresolved, but the timing is incredibly concerning. I understand that defective parts happen. What frustrates me is the apparent lack of quality control, the additional inconvenience, and the way this situation has been handled. I trusted Pep Boys with an expensive repair and expected my vehicle to be returned in proper working condition. Instead, I had to bring the vehicle back immediately, and am now dealing with additional repair recommendations and more uncertainty. I dropped it off Sunday afternoon and it is Thursday. I've requested that all further work stop while I pursue a resolution with corporate. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing major repairs at this location. Based on my experience, I have completely lost confidence in their service.

Today at 3:16pm, I've called them to see if they had a certain cabin air filter in stock for my car... Super stoked as this particular cabin air filter wasn't even available for purchase at the other big name auto stores. Woohoo O'reilly rocks!

The Conversation they were having was obviously not work related. Had to just walk out and go somewhere else. Should the one associate on the floor have asked for help, yes. Should I have asked that associate to get some help, yes. The part that makes me unhappy is this place has a loud entry bell when someone enters/exits. No way the two in the office didn't hear it. . . When the ding ding goes off 3-4 times in less than 5 minutes. That's your Que to stick your head out and see if someone needs help. It's called customer service. . Do better.

Within just one year of ownership, I…read morewas hit with thousands of dollars in repairs that no buyer should reasonably expect so soon after purchasing a vehicle. Since buying the Jeep, I've had to replace the left and right cylinder head gasket, thermostat, water pump, water pump gasket, oil cooler assembly, spark plugs, and battery clamps. The vehicle developed persistent engine stalling issues, misfires, coolant loss, white exhaust smoke, and transmission-related problems. I was later informed of transmission fault code P0732, indicating potential transmission failure, and have also had to investigate replacing the crankshaft position sensor in an attempt to keep the vehicle running properly. I understand that used vehicles can require maintenance, but the extent and severity of these repairs after only one year have been extremely disappointing. I trusted Blackstar Offroad to sell a reliable vehicle, and instead I've spent a significant amount of time, stress, and money (thousands) dealing with major mechanical failures. I'm not writing this review out of spite. I'm sharing my experience in hopes that future customers can make a more informed decision than I did. Please do your homework, have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing, and make sure you're prepared for the possibility of unexpected repair costs. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from Blackstar Offroad. I was truly excited and worked hard to make the purchase but the financial stress and emotional burden of not having my vehicle while it was going through multiple shops to confirm and execute the repairs was definitely not worth it - I definitely learned my lesson not bringing a mechanic with me to inspect the vehicle before the purchase. 'Please inspect people, don't trust these dealers they won't tell you everything'.
