You should really avoid this place because they overcharge and will try to nickel and dime you. And their communication is poor. I was quoted $500 to replace my alternator. I asked them to also replace the belt for the alternator and while it was in the shop to do an oil change. When I went to pick up the car my bill was $900. They charged me $155 for an oil change. My car is a 4 cylinder and only holds four and a half quarts of oil that's an absolute rip-off. They charged me for replacing ALL of my belts when I specifically said to just change the alternator belt. They charged me for washer fluid that I didn't ask for as well. Unless you have money to waste and enjoy getting ripped off. I would find a different place to get your car worked on I will never take my cars here again. read more

Used this shop 10 years ago for A/C repair, took it back to service again. Made a mistake by not asking how much it was going to cost to have them look at the A/C and provide a repair estimate. They found the A/C had leaks and quoted me a total replacement repair bill, over $1500.00. They didn't even see if there were any metal shavings in the lines, just checked for leaks. When I stated I could not afford $1500.00+ in repairs, they charged me $134.00+ to tell me I had a leak. Hell I knew I had a leak. I feel totally ripped off by this business, one who I had respect for but no longer. Took the vehicle to Meineke where they inspected the entire system, drained the system so the filter could be checked, and charged me ZERO DOLLARS. Took my new GMC truck in for an oil change because I was leaving town and the local dealership could not get me in for 2 days. Charged me $130+ for the oil change. GMC charges me $66, checks all fluid levels and rotates my my tires. I asked Adrian's if they would check my transfer case fluid. They charged me $33.75 for this. What a rip, and acted like I was bothering them for being there! That was the second bad experience I've had there. read more

This place was amazing. I went there for the first time re: my brakes, they were squealing so I was prepared to get new brakes. 77K miles on the vehicle. They told me I didn't need to replace the brakes, they blew them off for me all for no charge. Most places would've gladly taken my money for an unnecessary repair. That's honest people. Awesome. This is a precautionary review. The prices on parts are gouging, in my case, twice the amount that a parts store would charge. They also included an upcharge percentage rate of 8.25 to the parts. Almost $800.00 in gouge and upcharge part percentage fee. That's astounding, unbelievably greedy. For this business to think that people are stupid and won't realize what they are doing is arrogant. The hourly rate of $100.00 and how they compare how long the job will take is also questionable. Beware and be careful when you deal with this buisness. read more

I had my vehicles repaired at this shop several times. The last time I did several repair on my van. After my van was returned there was a severe vibration at braking. Mr Adrian told me that the drums were off balance, but since I purchased the drums myself there was nothing he could do but for me to bring new drums and would charge me an extra $100 (that on top of the $1,000 I previously pay him. Took my vehicle to another shop in Belton, to find out that the rotors that they were supposed to repair were not done properly and that the drums were ok. The van is running up and well. Shop rate for this place is $100 per hour. I would never bring my vehicles back to this place again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I have had my car in this garage multiple times. Each time I pick it up I discover more problems with it. Whether they are just terrible at their jobs or have been sabotaging me so I'd have to come back, I'm not sure. All I know is my car has had consistent problems each time I get it back theres more wrong with it than there was when I dropped it off. Find another garage. Unfortunately we didn't have a choice when our 35G Infinity's radiator busted in Temple Texas. We live in Austin, Texas. 7 months later the radiator busted again. Adrian charged us $750. My trusted mechanic in Austin, Texas indicated the wrong radiator and the workman ship was terrible. Many most of the bolts and clamps were missing. When I called Adrian to at least refund the part (purchased from Advanced Auto Parts) he indicated he'd ship us another radiator or bring the car to him. He also refused to credit me the radiator that Advance Auto Part's covers under the purchaser warranty. Needless to say, I spend another $650. read more

If we could give a minus result it would be a MINUS 10!! We cannot remember being taken like this before in our lives. Our vehicle was having issues with the Check Your Engine light coming on, the car ran very rough when this happened and we could smell gas. It was also taking a lot of oil. We went in and spoke to Adrian Jez himself not one of his crew. This was on a Tuesday. We had to operate on one car due to financial reasons and one of us worked out of town on a different shift. We did not hear from anyone about an estimate at all or even what was going on with the car. By Friday morning we made a call as was told the parts had not come in and the estimate was $1,650!!!!!! We were in shock! We had to ask when the parts were expected and we were told by Tuesday and it would take 8 hours to put them on. We did not hear anything by Wednesday so another call was made. We were then told the parts did not fit so they would have to go to the dealer. Then Friday came and we still heard nothing so we called again and was told the total was $2,102!!! We were more in shock!! We paid and picked the car up but then black smoke poured out of the tailpipe which did not happen before. When questioned about that he said .."I WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT," and he did some more work and charged us $250 and the black smoke still poured out of the tailpipe. He then said it needs a new engine and that would run you about $5,000!!! We were upset, but expected the car to be fixed correctly and honestly. The car had to have 3 quarts of oil added each time we drove it for a week and then it began to die!!! We took it to somewhere else and was told he had done such a number on us and we better start looking for another vehicle. We were only able to drive it for 2 more days before we had to go to a dealership and get another vehicle and it did not want to start at the dealership but they took it off our hands anyway!!! Recently we spoke to a number of people that told us this type of thing happens regularly at ADRIAN'S GARAGE and in one situation he drove the repair price up so much that this person could not pay the bill so he kept the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely loved the service provided by Adrian's garage! My family and I bring all of our vehicles here. When I lived in College Station and had an issue with my vehicle, my father in law suggested that I bring it to Adrian's. We drove it over and he was able to fix the problem MUCH CHEAPER than the quote given to me at the dealership. Since moving to Temple my vehicle has required a few repairs, all of which have been completed at Adrian's Garage. The office staff is kind, and all of the mechanics go out of their way to help in any way possible. I once arrived just after closing time and one of Adrian's mechanics helped me fix the problem in my vehicle. I'm a young female that knows a little bit bout my car they gave me the run around to act like they did everything right...Bought a power steering pump to have replaced still was leaking after work finished they gave me excuses saying it's the high pressure line leaking FUCKING WRONG!!!Took to two shops in temple they completely finished the high pressure line and the reservoir for the supply.line of the power steering pump..My fluid was everywhere and come to find out IT WAS THE DUCKING POWER PUMP THEY "FIXED" the WHOLE FUCKING TIME.... IM TAKING IT BACK SHOVING IT ALL MY OLD PARTS IN THEY FACE AND TELL THEM TO FIX THIS SHIT OR I WILL NOTIFY BBB (BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU) ... DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! This place is a scam. Truly dishonest people and the definition of scummy car service places. I didn't learn my lesson with faulty work the first time and took my car to be repaired by them again and then the true colors showed. I had my transmission fluid and spark plugs changed by them 6 months ago, and every time I changed my oil after that I was told the transmission fluid was overfilled by a quart. Strike one. My check engine light came on and I had it towed to the nearest place for a repair, in which they diagnosed some other routine maintenance that needed to be done. This place said I needed my spark plugs changed because the originals were still on the car. Oh, really? Because that was supposed to be done 6 months ago. I foolishly took it back to Adrian's for the recommended repairs thinking the other place was probably not trustworthy. Adrian proceeded to do a full diagnostic of the car and did a 'tune up'. I verbally told him at the garage that he had done one 6 months ago and some of that didn't need to be done. What he proceeded to do after I left and what I was billed for included spark plugs, transmission fluid change (which had been done 6months ago at HIS garage), serpentine belt which I had already been replaced 20,000 miles ago (and they last 60-100k miles), brake pads which I have to take in to get checked somewhere else because after Adrian worked on them, they grind and thud every time I come to a stop, and he checked my cooling/heating unit and now every time I turn it on, it grinds and smells of burnt rubber so also have to get that looked at somewhere else. Also, he replaced the air filter which had been replaced just a week prior at the place I took my car to for the break down. $2,000 spent for maintenance that had already been done, some of it at his garage, and I have to get everything he did rechecked because of the crappy job that was done. I should have listened to my instinct and never taken it there. Please don't make my mistake. read more

I wish we would have read the other reviews about Adrian's before taking our car here. We took it here to have new brake pads put on. After we dropped close to $500, we got our car back and noticed there was a high pitch "whine" when you pressed on the brakes. We took our car back to them, and they told us that our hydraulics were bad and that our brake pads had "crystalized" and we needed new bearings. A nice total of $1350 of new work that they recommended. None of which was mentioned by them when they first worked on the car. We said 'no thank you' and opted to take our car elsewhere. Now the brakes are making even stranger noises, and I'm highly regretting not checking these reviews out first. I find hard to believe that it's merely coincidence that the brake system is making all of these new noises, and there's no correlation to the work they had previously done. Avoid this shop like the plague. read more
