For some reason, HFP pays for the "Request a Quote" feature, which induces customers to write to them with questions, but then responds by referring all inquiries to call their office. It's a waste of people's time to have us take the time to type things out and answer the quote system's questions, only to ignore everything we've said and tell us to call (where we will then have to repeat everything we wrote). If a company does not want to deal with electronic communication, it seems sensible not to advertise such options.

Our experience with them from first phone call to end project was positive. I called and spoke with Amber. I explained our guest bathroom leaky toilet problem. Amber was professional and friendly. She explained there was an upfront $89 charge for a service technician to come out. The service technician would evaluate and let us know the total cost up front. I agreed the charge was acceptable and made an appointment for a service technician to come out to our home. The morning of the appointment Amber called to let us know Rocky Johnson (Service Technician) with 27 years of experience was on his way. Also received a text & email with Rocky's picture. Rocky arrived on time and was professional and friendly. He assessed the problem and explained what was needed. He was very detailed and patient with our questions before we agreed on the service. I hired Alex to do two jobs at my house and he did a terrible job on both and completely lied to me…read moreand ripped me off. I had them out the first time for a drain line back up. He came out, charged me several hundred dollars and told me that he unclogged the line and also ran a camera down it and told me that my main drain line had nothing wrong with it. At the time I believed him, but come to find out later that there is no way that he could have ran a camera down my drain line because I didn't have a clean out for him to enter through. Plus my sewer line had completely collapsed so there was no way that he ran a camera down otherwise he would've seen that the line was collapsed and had roots growing it it. He wouldn't have been able to run the camera line all the way down it because it was collapsed right after it comes out of my house. He said the entire drain line was fine! The other issue he was supposed to fix was a problem Under my kitchen sink- under the house and with the clean out to the side of the house. The clean out was inaccessible bc it was painted over so many times by past owner. So he was supposed to fix the plumbing problem under the sink and replace the clean out as well. Well, he put a new clean out in but he did such a terrible job That the glue or mortar that he used completely sealed up the clean out and it couldn't be accessed. My new plumber had to fix that. He also tried to charge me way more than his quote, and when he gave me the bill, he was charging me for time that he wasn't even here when he and his guys took a lunch break and other time as well that they were not even present at my home. Then Alex threatened me in my home when I asked about the incorrect billing. He demanded I pay him the exact amount he wanted from me right then without any itemized bill at all. He told me if he gave me an itemized bill he was going to charge me even more. He told me if I didn't pay him right then and without an itemized bill, he would go under my house, and rip out all of my plumbing lines. I got him out of my house first and then stood my ground on needing an itemized written bill. I don't know how Alex came to me recommended or how he has so many good reviews. I had another plumber out because I was still having issues and I have all sorts of pictures that show he lied and did not do what he was supposed to. Do yourself a favor and have nothing to do with this Plumber.

All the reviews given by my neighbors on these guys were superb and I decided to give them a try and was not disappointed. They are family oriented and very friendly. I had them come and give an estimate on a pipe damage that a utility company had done working on back yard and they did a thorough estimate. I also had them come back to replace 2 of my outdoor faucets that were leaking and they were thorough in fixing these at a reasonable cost compared to all the other plumbers who have come by to give estimates. I'll definitely recommend them and call them back should I have any plumbing needs!
