He couldn't come out to install the new unit for a few days, so he set up two portable air conditioners, vented them to the outside, so we would be comfortable. Him and his partner were very friendly, honest, conscientious, thorough and very accommodating. The new unit will be inspected, and Josh will be out in two weeks to check on things. Started calling places but no one could come out for several days. Quality Comfort said they could be here in 2 hours and they were! Turned out to be a frozen condensate line (you'll remember it was 19 degrees last Christmas morning). Andrew also adjusted other issues that were out of spec (e.g. gas pressure) and spent about an hour going over the system. Total cost to come out on Christmas day? $279 which i think is a bargain.

I didn't let the Quality Comfort technician know about the other diagnosis, and do you know, he figured out the problem in less than an hour, had the part on his truck and the unit was up and running for less than $250! Told me to expect it either over the weekend or on the Monday. No quote was forthcoming. I followed up 3 times over the next few weeks to try and get the quote. Finally, to give one last opportunity before I wrote a review, I called 2 weeks ago and was told the technician would call me back that day. Not surprisingly I heard nothing. I can only assume that the tech is assuming this job isn't worth his time as he'll make more elsewhere. Really wanted it to work out with these guys. I know a couple of guys who know the owner/manager and they have alot of good things to say about him. Unfortunately I can't even get a quote.

I also had Dave look at my upstairs attic furnace and they fixed the shoddy work that my home warranty company performed 1 year earlier. Come spring I had Dave come out and look at my AC units which the was the oldest unit and was not keeping it at the low temperature we wanted. He looked at it and had to add 2 lbs. to the unit and said it had a slow leak in it, but it did not need replacement just yet, maybe in about 2 or 3 years. Dave was on time and fixed everything that needed to be fix and explained the health of both furnaces and AC units. Good work and trust in a company is hard to come by.
