Reimagining Comfort in My Two-Story Home: An HVAC Upgrade with Reliable Heating & Air…read more Over several seasons, I've worked with Reliable Heating & Air to fine‑tune the comfort ecosystem in my two-story home. Targeted IAQ upgrades and system tweaks brought measurable gains. Together, we made real progress toward my comfort goal: reliable, unobtrusive, and just right. That said, my original multi‑zone setup, with one air stream and damper controls, had its limits. As someone sensitive to airflow, humidity, and temperature shifts, achieving consistency across two floors was a constant challenge. Recently, a new path forward emerged: independent HVAC systems for each level, each with its own IAQ features. This approach promised more direct control over airflow, temperature, and humidity. As a bonus, one system could keep the house comfortable if the other ever needed service. This new setup felt like the right call for lasting comfort -- and a substantive project. Jordan, from Reliable, took the lead on this project with his no‑pressure, facts‑first approach that always puts me at ease. I've worked with him many times and trust his expertise completely. He listened carefully to my input and created a straightforward plan tailored to my priorities. We moved from our first discussion to the start of work within two weeks. The Reliable team completed the installation in 2.5 days. Edwin did an excellent job building the attic platform in a matter of hours. Then, with extraordinary craftsmanship, Maricio and Farlyn installed the HVAC units and IAQ elements, working alongside an independent electrical team. As this was a retrofit, I anticipated some disruption. However, the crew executed flawlessly, and my home stayed clean and livable. The new HVAC and IAQ systems are now seamlessly integrated into my home's solid build. What a game-changer! The difference was immediate: temperatures stay even across both floors, humidity holds steady around 42 percent, and airflow feels balanced without strain. The thermostats run smoothly in auto mode, requiring little oversight. Importantly, everyday life feels easier -- cleaner air, better rest, and more energy. This type of project may not suit every home, but for anyone struggling with consistency or comfort balance, it may be worth exploring. Reliable's team can help you evaluate whether this setup makes sense for your space, budget, and goals. For me, this was the best comfort decision I've ever made. It completely transformed how my home feels -- balanced, calm, and truly mine again. I'm grateful. Many thanks to Jordan and the Reliable crew for their professionalism and expertise. For Raleigh homeowners seeking dependable comfort solutions, Reliable Heating & Air is an outstanding partner. 5/5 stars -- genuine expertise and a happy homeowner.

Weather Master Heating & Air Conditioning

My Lennox system never worked right in my brand-new home. Heating and cooling varied in different rooms and the emergency heat would not come on automatically when required. The Weather Master television advertisement claim if you get the regular inspections you can keep your system maintained and prevent breakdowns so I set-up the six month inspections and maintenance. Technicians were sent to perform the 6-month maintenance inspections and recommended multiple solutions costing over $1000, none of which solved anything. Last year the unit stopped working completely. The technician took the time to evaluate the entire system and found what he described as installation issues (not installed by Weather Master). These issues reportedly caused damage to the main board and some other parts. I was informed they had the parts in stock and would be back the next day. As the day wore on, no return with the part. I called the main office and was informed the technician was on other calls and would get to me that day. I spoke to the Office Manager to inquire why they didn't complete one service before moving on to other customers as I still had no heat and was staying in a hotel. The Office Manager was rude and told me lots of customers had no heat and I was lucky they even had the part as other customers were waiting six months, and the technician would be out when they could get there. In the end, it cost me another $900 even with warranty coverage, but he did solve the breakdown and the emergency heat problem. I have stayed with Weather Master because they are the approved warranty repair for Lennox and I can request a specific technician now that I found one that does more than a cursory inspection and try to sell something. If you have an issue, do not ask for the Office Manager.

I'm surprised so see varying reviews bc I purposely came here to praise them. That's when Weathermaster came in. Every guy they've sent out for maintenance and to repair anything had been nothing short of professional and honest. It's refreshing to be able to trust a company with a very large investment for our home comfort.
