The website stated that a blow\-dry was complimentary, but when I showed them the website, they had to correct the information that same day and still did not honor the complimentary blow Dry even though they saw it was listed online .There were also additional charges that were not clearly listed online. Price was wayyyymore expensive More importantly, I went in specifically asking for blonde hair without brassiness I said it a million times I have been getting my hair professionally highlighted for years and know what works for my hair and always achieve a beautiful blonde when done correctly .was reassured that I would get the blonde color I normally have, even though they didn't do anything that other stylist do i absolutely did not get the result i was left with extremely orange, brassy hair that honestly looks like clown hair. This is honestly the worst my hair has ever been I paid for a full head of highlights, yet large sections of the back and entire areas were left without highlights had significant regrowth, and the left side was barely touched compared was shocked that this was considered a full head. The toner was also left on for far too long, and my hair is now more damaged than it has ever been.I had an important event this week and instead of feeling good about my hair, I am embarrassed and extremely upset about how it looks and feels Unfortunately, I also did not feel that the stylist was confident or experienced with the color I was asking for, despite reassuring me that she could achieve it. the salon owner had to keep showing her what to do . After washing she parted my hair in the middle and cut my hair straight across. No cleaning up the ends, no smoothing or texturizing - just a straight blunt cut across. I was in the chair for one minute. She then asked if there was anything else she could help with? It was really odd. I did opt to have my hair blow dried. When I went to check out, I was charged 3x what the prices posted on the wall were. I questioned it, and she confirmed it was correct. My hair frizzed up within 5 minutes of leaving the salon, so I don't think it was dried completely. The way my hair was cut was literally what I did to trim my split ends myself during the start of the Covid pandemic when salons were not open. This was not a professional cut. Meanwhile, I have shared this story with with friends, including a couple who work in the industry, who were all appalled at what I paid. I tried calling and following up to express my concern a few weeks later and my call was never returned. I think this place was empty for a reason. Almost every salon was closed or would charge me an arm and leg to come to the hotel. The situation was a nail biter until I called Salon West and found out that they were open! The salon has a very small, cozy and welcoming feel with big open windows, two stations for cutting, and a big red wall with the 2 additional sinks against it. Last haircut I got was about 2 months before this one and they didn't cut it short enough or add any layers like I asked. It cost $150 and I was very unhappy with it. Unfortunately the picture I took with my new haircut doesn't really get the back of it so it doesn't do it justice.
