I wanted so much to like this salon, however, I made an appointment over 4 weeks ago and I never received a confirmation. I called the phone number on the website, nobody answers, I emailed the email on the website no response. I had to find another salon because nobody answers to confirm. I did receive a strange text on the day of the appointment from a "do not respond" nor did it give a phone number saying I have an appointment, but it was a different salon name called VIP. Got a "corrective color" and cut here. I paid waaaaay too much (almost $300) and they didn't fix the color and botched the cut. Even if they had done a great job what I paid is would have been way too much. My hair is really short. So they didn't do a great job in the first place with the color. To "fix" it they put a toner over everything in an attempt to even it out. Guess what? The toner faded away in a few weeks and there was the same screwed up color I had gone in with. I called and spoke with the owner about it. She offered me a discount on another corrective color with her. Um, no. If they had fixed my hair in the first place I shouldn't have to have another corrective color. Not going to waste any more of my money here. read more

I found Salon Exquisite due to needing a fix on an uneven bob cut. Ashley fixed my hair and I was immediately sold on the location as a whole. I have had multiple hair stylists there and have found them all to be great at what they do. My husband got sick of mediocre haircuts at chain salons and started coming to get his hair cut here as well. We both got our hair cut by Emily the most frequently and she did an incredible job with our cuts and was fun to talk to as well. I booked an appointment with Jen over a year ago and I've rebooked with her ever since! I don't get anything fancy done-- just a typical haircut/trim and she's always fabulous. Her personality is so positive and bright and she is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair! When I decide to/ need to dye my hair.. I'll certainly be going to Jen at Salon Exquisite! Ashley is the absolute best. She will tell you like it is - if I bring in a picture of a hair style that will not work for me, she will refuse to do it. And she'll tell me what I need to do instead. I love her honesty, and her trust passion for her work. She really cares what you look like, not only when you walk out of the salon, but the next month or so until you get your next cut. It's hard to find someone you trust 100% with your hair, but I could go into her salon with a blind fold, and be completely confident she'd make me look amazing. Ashley also did my sister's wedding. In a hurricane. She and the other girl from the salon did the whole party, with so much hair spray and pins, that there was no chance the hurricane would move our hair. I stated I just needed a trim and I wasn't pressured into any services I didn't want. Shandi was pleasant, cute and did a fantastic job! I got 10% off by checking in on Yelp and being a first time customer, bringing the total to $31.50. Cash tips are preferred, as stated with signage when you enter the salon. I had an appointment on 6/16/18 for my wedding, with future sisters-in-law and mothers-in-law, and had such a great experience! Shandi took care of me(and I honestly can't think of the other girls name, so sorry), but they both did such amazing jobs! Shandi asked what look I was going for and after I showed her a couple picture of hair ideas and what I wanted for makeup(super simple), she totally nailed it! I don't wear makeup or do anything with my hair(other than color it) so she made some suggestions and asked for my opinion. It was exactly how I pictured myself on my wedding day! Just perfect! I found this salon by accident a couple years back. I walked in and Emily did my cut. Now I am not a regular at any salon and I do nothing with my hair. However she cut my hair so nice best cut I have ever gotten and I gave her nothing to work with. When I was getting married I requested Emily and Ashley to do me and my sisters hair for the wedding. Being the a typical bride I was I did not get a trial until a couple days before the wedding and the salon was calling me to come in. I went with nothing to go off of other then my veil. Emily used her imagination and my hair came out amazing! The day of the wedding I had so much fun with my sisters and Emily and Ashley. My sisters all came in with things they wanted and all of their hair came out amazing! It stayed in all night. I used to be a happy client, but over the last 6 months or so, the salon became very dramatic and quite unprofessional. I understand that hair salons are a place for girlish gossip and a place where you can freely be yourself and talk about your life, but my last several appointments have been filled with the drama surrounding the personal lives of the stylists. It's become uncomfortable. Worst of all, the owner of the salon is the biggest offender. I understand that everyone goes through hard times in their life, but the workplace is no place to air your dirty laundry. The way she speaks about these people is so unprofessional. My friends and I have agreed that our time as clients of this salon has expired. We are no longer comfortable here. The anger and vulgarity make us nervous. read more

I'm so happy that I found Ashley again!!! I used to see her at another salon but then I moved out of state for a couple of years and lost track of her. Happily I was able to track her down to her new location and new position as owner AND stylist at Salon Exquisite. The new place is great!!! She has a wonderful staff working for her. They are all so sweet, friendly, and of course knowledgeable and talented. I love the decor! Cool, calm and comfy. There are even little bowls of snacks and candies laid out for you at the reception area, so nice for those of us who might have had to skip a meal in order to squeeze a hair appointment into our busy schedule. I think my favorite aspect of the entire salon are the full length mirrors in front of each styling chair. I loved being able to see my new look come together from head to toe. Obviously Ashley is a fantastic stylist in my view. I would not have put in all the effort of tracking her down if she wasn't. She talks you through everything and REALLY listens, something not all stylists do. I have long thick hair and Ashley always knows what to do to give it that extra bounce without chopping it all off or making me look like Farah Faucet (both of which have happened to me at other salons). She did my hair for my wedding and I would not have trusted anyone else. Ashley is the best! read more

The staff here is absolutely fantastic. All very friendly, chatty and pleasant. All of the products they use are high end great quality products that are generally good for your hair. I personally had an "ombrè"/highlights done by Dale, he was super friendly, made me feel welcomed and talked to me throughout the entire appointment that ended up being 2 hours long due to how dark my hair is. My hair came out fabulous and looks absolutely like the pictures I brought with me but better, and my hair still feels soft and healthy unlike other times after my hair bleached (by other salons) and felt fried and dead. He took the time to match the colour swatch I chose and then blew out my hair and curled it. The entire appointment went perfectly. That's what I thought anyway. The only reasons why I cannot give this salon 5 stars is because of how misleading they were for me and how that later effected me also I sat and waited to have my hair blown out because my stylist was double booked and had to colour another women's hair during my appointment. The misleading part of my experience was price. Over the phone and also online I was told that full foils would be $115 I found that to be reasonable. However after having my hair treated I was charged $170 plus tip... And that was the price after a 10% off because of being a first time customer!!! I love my hair and think it is fabulous however I did not expect such a high price after I had already planned on about $120 to $130 due to tip. Neither me or the stylist called my hair an ombrè and both called and considered my hair as full foil highlights. However I was still charged the price a full ombrè would cost. I was caught by surprise extremely by the huge price increase and did not plan on spending that much on my hair at all. Over all I love my hair and know they are very professional and strong in the hair business at this salon. My tip for sure is to plan on higher prices and bring extra money read more
