Even though most stylists were on vacation, and she had at least 4 clients in and out in the time I was there, Serenity balanced all of us with ease and professionalism. And my hair was done great and within an hour! The space is designed well, clean, and comfortable. If I lived in the area, based on this experience, I'd probably wind up making this my home salon. On Saturday, they even came in before opening to help us out. They were friendly, accommodating and professional and immediately put us at ease despite our pre-wedding jitters. I accidentally left my cell phone there at our last visit to the salon and the owner was able to find the wedding venue and drop it off in person for me! Their work was great, e.g. I got soft curls that lasted for several days beyond the wedding. I wish we lived nearby, we would use this salon regularly. I stressed that I wanted to keep the length all over and the overall look the same, just wanted it to be cleaner and fresher. Well, I got layers but they are not long. I don't know the name of the stylist who cut my hair but she essentially left the bottom layer long and then cut a bob into the top layers. I'm extremely upset. I'm going to have to cut the bottom layer short just to make it look semi normal. What's worse, it somehow looks even shaggier than when I came in. Take your money elsewhere if you don't want your hair butchered.
