Best vet, they are extremely responsive and helpful. My dog was extremely sick and they saw him same day, this staff is incredible I had to leave my pup there I was very anxious and they called with updates on how he was doing and the treatments they were doing. They also aren't here just for the money they give you options and honest options on what you should do, they treat your pets like family. Excellent care for my pup, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you for taking such good care of Summer!

Adobe Veterinary Clinic is the absolute best! Dr Phil is my favorite but all of the vets there are top notch, attentive and compassionate, providing excellent care at an affordable price. The staff is courteous and the entire team is great - they always go above and beyond. I have had experiences with other veterinarians in the past, but Adobe Veterinary Clinic truly stands out. They take care of your pet as if it was their own. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality care for their fur babies! read more

First wellness check went well! Neat and clean vet clinic with extremely nice staff! Very accommodating to Pacha(my pup) and the receptionist even gave him a little pup treat. The vet was very thorough and made sure that I understood how to give Pacha his medicine and how often. Have a follow up appointment in two weeks :). read more

I bring my Himmothy here for 13 years now. I trust them with his life hands down. They saved him from cancer by removing a toe and caught valley fever early. The staff of medical providers are great people. Great prices too!! read more

We recently took our dog rescue dog Stew to Adobe for dental cleaning and extractions. I was able to get an appointment in a timely manor as well as schedule the surgery for the following day. Prices are more than fair and they will work with your budget! Dr. Phil was great, he was very informative and helpful throughout the process. He made sure to do extra testing to make sure our old man was able to undergo surgery, and the front desk staff called the next day to check on him. Highly recommend Adobe and both Dr. Phil and Dr. Greg who we also have had a good experience with. Everyone in the office truly cares about the well being of your fur babies! read more

My dog is very energetic and for some reason pretty terrified at the vet, but the staff and Doctors at Adobe are infinitely patient with her. I wish she liked it there as much as I do, but I so appreciate how hard they work to get the job done with her. My previous vet told me to give her 4 different pills over 24 hours before I brought her in, so I asked around and found Adobe. Adobe doesn't ask me to drug her, they get creative and take care of my sweet girl! read more

The whole crew at Adobe are absolutely fantastic. We recently moved to Mesa, our dog is having a hard time adjusting to the perils of the desert. Cactus and other various dangers have had him to the doctor several times in 3 months. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. Our doctor is Phil, he is patient and understands how important our K9 family members are. We were lucky to find this clinic! read more

recently had a dog that crossed the rainbow bridge. I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate group of people from start to finish. Dr. Phil is the best vet we have ever had. We trust him with both of our dogs and he has always treated them with respect and compassion. Recently we had a health scare with one of our dogs. Not only was Dr. Phil responsive and prompt- he was also calm and considerate of our feelings regarding the situation. My wife is 9 months pregnant- Dr Phil got our dog in for the necessary procedure without hesitation to ensure we got in before she went into labor. Additionally- he went out of his way to show me before and after photos of the procedure along with explaining the in's and outs of the process. He is wonderful with our dogs and is always there to answer questions we have. We live 60 miles away from the clinic and my wife makes the hour and a half drive to see Dr Phil because his service is worth it. You will not be disappointed. Hands down the best vet in town. read more

I was just turned away from an emergency exam because my cat wasn't in a carrier. I've frequently brought my cat to the vet without a carrier and it's never been a problem. They said it's an issue with dogs. There was one small dog there. Maybe owners should put their small dogs in carriers or at least keep control over them with a leash. Instead my cat gets penalized for them not telling me about their rule in advance then try to charge extra for carrier rental. No thanks, vets are a dime a dozen. My pets will all go elsewhere from now on. read more

Dr Phil is absolutely the best Veterinary doctor I have ever had. He is so compassionate and caring. When my 1 year old dog, Mia, came down with a unknown condition...he got her in to see him quickly and worked very hard to figure out what was going on with her. He had me send him a video of her behavior during the night, because she was pacing continuously, so he was leaning towards seizure activity. Her symptoms were so vague. After he did a Neurological test on her, (which she failed,) and x-rayed her spine he found a slight compression of a disc, 9and he put her on Prednisone and a muscle relaxer. She is improving daily.... Dr Phil had to leave town for a week, but wanted me to email him daily to keep up with her progress. He always promptly responded to every email. He's is simply an amazing doctor, and I would give him 10 stars, if it was possible!! read more

We had been bringing our little CiCi to Adobe Vet Clinic since late 2019 after being referred by a friend. Dr. Phil is a compassionate veterinarian who treated her like he'd treat his own pup. Dr. Phil is truly the best vet I've ever known in my nearly two decades of dog ownership. He is quick and efficient, while also being incredibly thorough, kind, compassionate, and helpful. He can quickly recognize and address issues even we aren't fully aware of. Dr. Phil is a great communicator, and showed touching empathy and gentleness when my dog was suddenly on the way to the end of his life. Since then, we've adopted another and Dr. Phil is our go to for any of our dog's health needs or concerns. He is not pushy with treatments you don't feel comfortable with, and will be honest about the necessity in light of the cost, as well as alternative options. Dr. Phil is truly a knowledgable and competent vet who you can trust, and he truly cares. I'm so thankful we found him, and will absolutely recommend him to everyone I know. read more

I found this place and yelp. After all the great reviews. I decided to bring the love of my life to see them. My then 9 week puppy Hank. Hank gets grumpy when I leave the room or people are holding him without me near him. The staff from the moment I came in was understand to his hyper active behavior( his a baby Boston terrier) his love for giving kisses and sometimes showing off his 4 teeth (love bites??). The Vets were overly excited to see him! They even have his brother from the same mom and dad. The vet let me hold him while giving him a shot and he was fine! He even gave him a cookie for sitting. He asked me about what we were feeding him, how we were potty training and the products I was using. He was very nice and educational not condescending like I was scared of since hank is my first puppy. He even let hank play with his brother from a previous litter and took selfies with him. Hank was actually upset to leave the vet and go home! I wish they saw humans because I would go To them! I strongly recommend you come here for all your pet needs. Picture of Hank for extra cuteness. read more

I understand that if myself and my puppy are new patients to your clinic that you might charge a $50 deposit for her first vaccine visit. I totally get it. However I've kept coming back. I got all my puppy's boosters, heartguard, fecal test, and worming injection here. I feel I'm established. I have paid my bill in full every time. I won't be back. It feels like a slap in the face to require a $75 deposit for her spay. Just disgusting. read more

A thank you will never be enough. We are new to the area. And Adobe Clinic was the 3rd vet clinic we visited in an effort to establish quality care. We found the staff to be unbelievable. They loved on my 100 lb Rottweiler and made use feel like family. Unfortunately due to a genetic disorder my baby left us within 7 weeks. Dr. Phil called us almost everyday in the latter stages. Sissi (my girl) loved the staff at Adobe Clinic. We were treated with the upmost care and expertise. Dr Phil (who is amazing) used his team as well as outside resources to provide only the best science has to offer. With compassion, a gentle touch. Not to mention very very reasonable rates. Dr Phil anloved my girl and walked us through the whole process. We didn't know them for years but my family will remember them forever. read more

BEWARE I have taken my 2 dogs to Adobe Vet Clinic for years. I will not go there again after they charged me $918. when I took my little chihuahua in for teeth cleaning. They did not call to check if it was OK with me that they remove 3 teeth surgically, which they decided should be done after he was under anesthesia. They should have called me then, for an OK. The paper I signed on admission did not give them permission to do surgery. I do not have $918. as I'm retired. Also, my dog is older. Its likely he'll be dead before I pay off the bill. Not very professional at all and a rip off !!!!! read more

We recently took our pit Bull to an animal hospital because he stopped eating and was losing weight very quickly. The animal hospital did nothing for us but to take blood work and send us on our way with a very sick dog. When blood work came back it showed our dog had a VERY high calcium levels that the animal hospital didn't seem to concerned about. I reached out to Dr. Phil and he immediately jumped in to request all paperwork from the animal hospital and began treating our pit bull. It's definitely scary knowing that things along the line of cancer or adrenal gland issues could be the cause of this high calcium but Dr. Phil is treating him for these scenarios in hopes to get our dog his energy back and help him regain weight so we can travel with him in to the office for further tests!! THANK YOU PHIL FOR CARING SO MUCH FOR OUR DOG. read more

It's a fact that people won't always agree on their experience with any business, in this case it's my own specific experience with Adobe Veterinary Clinic, a business name that is self-explanatory. In my mind a veterinary clinic exists for one purpose - to give compassionate care to pets that aren't feeling well. They either pass or fail and that perception is reality. Before reaching out to Adobe I previously had such a vet specialist for a dozen years and would still be going there if it wasn't for the pandemic and rising gas prices that made continuing to drive to Glendale out of the question. That's why I brought my business to Adobe, plus that several of my neighbors mentioned them. It was a bad decision, in my opinion the last words I would use for this company is caring or compassionate. Getting them to call me back was nearly impossible (I waited a full week) and I couldn't reach them when I called. Pets don't get sick on a timetable and a timely callback can make the difference sometimes if your pet survives or not. That is a serious consideration for a pet owner and Adobe lost my trust and confidence completely. Update: It was only after I wrote this review that I got their attention. I don't know which doctor is supposed to read emails but Dr Phil is the one who pvt msgd me about this and offered to talk, telling me "Dude I am here almost 24/7 for my clientele. We get hundreds of emails ... it's hard to keep up with all of that". I immediately said I was open to a call, but Phil ignored that and sent another pvt msg asking my name, then rather than wait a few minutes for my answer his choice was to publicly throw shade on ME and make it all about ME not instantly replying to him instead of simply apologizing and saying "give us another chance". I'm not sure of the urgency of knowing my name, but a compassionate vet would be saying "the #1 priority is what is happening with your pet? How can Adobe help him/her right now? We screwed up, we ignored your requests, please forgive that, bring your pet in today and we'll do our job as vets" not waste time publicly insulting the pet owner. Unfortunately none of that happened and Phil's retort is below for the record. I won't take my review down, in his own words he told me he is too busy to answer emails, yet sings a different public tune below. My perception and opinions stand and my pet's health is MY #1 priority. PS-the patient information he referenced is confidential, not something that I would post in a review. read more

Love this place. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is family owned and operated. I have 5 dogs and highly recommend them. Two of the six needed surgery, and I'm most impressed with the doctors and their knowledge. The dogs are doing well. Being from WA we did not have a Mesa area vet. When it came to the end of our 16 year old Pomeranian's life we scheduled the appointment with Adobe. I didn't even make it to an actual appointment because of the horrible customer service & rudeness in trying to get information. I sent a msg via their online platform on Tuesday since it was after hours & I knew I'd be at work the following morning. No response. I tried calling after work Wednesday. They are only open until 1pm. I then sent an email directly to the email address provided on the website on Wednesday. By Thursday at 2pm, still no response. I call the office & I tell the woman (she didn't bother to say what her name was) why I'm calling. She says nothing.. no apology, no "one moment while I check for you.." Nothing. Dead air. She then says she sees the email I sent & proceeds to tell me when the next appt is.. Still not answering my question in the email I had sent. Then when I ask her directly, she acts annoyed. So then I ask if they just don't bother to respond to customers inquiries sent via the website. There was a moment of silence and then she responds with the excuse that they were only open until 1 on Wednesday and were really busy. so I said I guess they must've been really busy. The last six hours they've been open today to respond to an email too? She responded with an attitude, "We were." I can understand being busy, but so busy that you can't respond to a customer for two days? Then to have attitude with me? No thanks. I will find somewhere else to take my dog if this is the experience already and I haven't even made it to an appointment. read more

I left this vet over a year ago because when my dog had some major medical issues - I could not get her in the see the vet. They sent me to the Emergency Vet ... I tried to bring her back to see her her regular doctor.. to confirm the diagnosis and work on a treatment plan - but they were too busy again. I left and went to a vet clinic that would actually see my dog when needed. Fast forward to today. My daughter was still taking her Dog and Cat to Adobe because she trusted them. After months of trying to care for her diabetic cat with Adobe - today her cat was not walking and having other issues. She called first thing this morning and guess what - no time for her - she was instructed to take her up the emergency vet. I called my new vet and explained what was happening with my daughter and her cat and they got her in right away. I loved Dr Phil, his father and brother - but their office and administration is an absolute joke. I hope it's a case of the doctors not knowing their office staff is turning away patients in need. Don't go here if your pet might have any major problems - they just brush you off. Thank you for the response Dr Phil. Unfortunately both of our fur babies had to be put down this year. So it's been pretty difficult. My daughter's cat was not responding to the insulin and after numerous visits to your clinic and seeing a specialist- kitty lost her battle with diabetes last weekend. For my daughter to have to go to a New vet and recount all of the treatment they have been through to ultimately get to what is the hardest decision in a pet owners life ... was just devastating to her and her husband. I know that you and your father (I think Andrew has left the practice) are caring and capable veterinarians- but you really need to make sure your office staff is professional and your policies/administration support the kind of practice you want to have at Adobe. read more
