Food is absolutely atrocious . Advertised as Mexican Cuisine so came in expecting something better than Taco Bell . Was wrong, black beans dry and ashy, tacos skimpy and tasteless. I myself ordered the shrimp tacos, more like cheese tacos. Tacos came in a white corn tortilla, average decent size. Inside was three small shrimps and the other 90% was mozzarella cheese. Rice was pretty much stale In my opinion this plaza has a lot more better options, would never return here. Highly recommend skipping

Taco Salad and Mangonada Margarita

I went for dinner with my husband and our close friends prior to Zanie's on Sunday. The location did not have many people there but service was great. The waitress was attentive asking if we needed anything and would come around often. The taco salad was flavorful and the salsa was just right. The mangonada margarita was delicious and the perfect balance. We also went back after the comedy show and the DJ had a great mix.

Came for a drink in the mid afternoon. We were the only guests at the bar. Many of the staff were still prepping for the dinner rush. Many of their cocktails and margaritas are made with sugary mixers. It is definitely for a younger crowd. They will validate your parking.

This place has good food with a good value. Came here with my friend and we shared nachos and fajitas. The waitstaff was nice but the food took rather long to come out. The ambiance is very casual hear place for groups or a casual date night. I will be back

Dance floor

Was fine just an in mix of music. A little something for everyone mot consistent though. So basically if you just want to hear only pop music, you will not be able to in a nutshell on the other hand this is fine if you don't mind a mix! Lol. Decent size place where you can sit and grab a bite while listening to loud music. There is also a small dance floor. You can either take the stairs to get upstairs to this place or the elevator. I went on a Sat night cover charge $20 to get in. This spot is located next to the Sugar Factory!

Came here for a quick drink after leaving Saltwater. It's an odd location. When you enter, you take the elevator up, or you take the stairs. It's a large, open restaurant. They have the bar in the middle, and tables surround the perimeter of the restaurant. There is a nice view from the top overlooking the area. It was quiet. I think we counted 6 other customers. The entire staff was in the corner wiping down menus. The bartender was friendly. I ordered a mimosa. It wasn't bad. I'm not sure if I would come here for food. The drinks are okay. It's a little pricey, but I see why. It's a touristy area.

Blue Raspberry fishbowl
Monic L.

I've been here multiple times and never have I had food here. It's usually the place to go when we don't want the night to end as they are open until 2am and have a dj on Saturday nights. They've added more tables and made the dance space a little smaller. We ordered a few drinks at our table and our waitress did her best with checking in on us as she was pretty busy. As much as blue Raspberry should always be the choice you can skip that fishbowl. They dont have any prices on their drinks. The dj of the night in my opinion was not reading the vibe of the place usually people are dancing the night away but most people were just sitting. The girls bathroom one of the stalls is broken so it doesn't lock. The ccover charge to get in ranges. It happened to be $10 that night. Just wasn't the best night out.

Ask the Community - Adobe Gilas

Do you have to leave before it turns into a club?

Only underage people need to leave once it turns into a club

Is there a cover for the nightclub scene?

Yes. It's between 10-20. Sucky service and drinks suck though lol

Is proof of vaccination required?

No they do not require proof of vaccination.

Do you guys play mostly Latin music only or it's all type music?

Yes

Do you guys have cognac? and is cover only cash?

Cover is card or cash. $20 if you come late on Saturday night.

Is there a cover fee for the nightclub scene at night?

Hi Fidel! Yes Friday is $5 cover and Saturday is $10. Cover charge starts at 10pm both days. Join us! Thanks!

What's the dress code like after 10pm?

It was super relaxed the entire time. It's basically a bar

So I've seen that Adobe is 21+ after 9. If someone under 21 is in Adobe after 9, will they kick them out at 9?

They will not be kicked out at 9, but they will be asked to leave by 10pm.

For the night club in adobe is there an age restriction?

Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing and seemed like she knew most of the people at her tables. We happened to be here when they have $7 bourbon mixers with good bourbon and they were not at all watered down. The food was delicious- we started with toasted ravioli and stuffed mushrooms and it was a great way to start. I wanted to try the fish tacos as that's normally my go-to, but I knew I wouldn't be able to eat them all after the appetizers, so went with the steak quesadilla, which had a ton of cheese and chopped steak so you got some in every bite. I will definitely be back to try the fish tacos!

Inside was pretty empty, we were there on a Thurs night and it seemed like mostly a few other corporate groups and regulars. There's a room with slot machines which I thought was interesting. Quick service, large portions and food came out fast. 4/5 chicken caldo soup - spicy but really flavorful 2/5 wings - dry rub was a bit too dry for their liking 3/5 friend got a salad with poppyseed dressing but didn't end up using the dressing as it had a bit of a strange consistency for her. She said it was okay tho. 3.5/5 ultimate grilled cheese, added a burger patty medium and red onions. The burger was good but cooked more medium well. Waffle fries generous but didn't care much for the ranch. 3.5/5 jambalaya - friends enjoyed it and the serving was large. 4/5 bread pudding was tasty and so was the ice cream. Service was great and it was just what we needed to get us some extra food. Menu was extensive and she indicated all was made fresh. Not necessarily food I'd crave & seek out if I was back in the area but it was pleasantly surprising and exactly what we needed!

As we sat down, I received a call from a major touring group who needed some help with their Hammond Organ. How long was the call? Wife and the Lads ordered their food and were half-done with it by the time I returned. Grrrrrrrrrr..... All three had ordered Smash Burgers and said they were quite good. When I finally got the chance to rejoin my Family, I looked at the menu and figured the Cold Cut Combo Sandwich would be the fastest and easiest. I ordered it with Truffle Fries. The Sandwich was actually very good, and the Truffle Fries were some of the best I ever had. The sando was Mortadell' and Sopressata. Good quality, too. Not supermarket crap. With a giardinera aioli. What's not to like? Good things come to those who wait, n'est ce pas? I ordered a Windbreaker Ale, and it was a hoppy delight. Worked real well with the sandwich and fries. Service was fine. This place is a definite cruise from Stately Breakwind Manor, so I don't know if it will be in regular rotation. It's also a bit pricy, but whaddya 'spect? it's almost adjacent to O'hare and in an "entertainment district". The menu is all familiar stuff, they're not re-inventing the wheel. But they coulda gone cheap on a "Cold Cut Combo", and they didn't, so that's a green flag the rest of the Carte is worth eating. Betcha the Pizzas rock...

I've needed an excuse to…read morecome here after having it on my list for years and the stars aligned for Game 4 of the ongoing White Sox - Cleveland Guardians ALDS. As I refuse to pay extra for sports channel subscriptions over my basic Comcast cable TV package, I didn't have TBS for this particular game or series, and decided to come here hopeful of watching a festive home field series clinching celebration on this night. It was a festive and fun and tense night, and I had a blast until things fell apart in the 6th inning. Beacon Tap has a great reputation as a good and long standing local sports bar and it lived up to it. In fact, I learned that on Bears football Sundays, you need to reserve a spot here as it's so packed, you can't just walk in and watch a game. I sat at the bar and ended up having a couple of delectable Maplewood Son of Juice IPA drafts (at a reasonable $7.25 apiece) and had a blast with fellow fans, two of whom were regulars here. Tim was the fine and attentive bartender and he kept the beers flowing and it was a packed bar and dining room as expected. I left after the 6th inning when the game was decided and the Sox eventually lost 9-5. It would have been so cool to celebrate a major sports win in a sports bar along with the comaraderie, something I've never experienced, but alas, it will probably have to be in another life, ugh. Come to think of it, I have been at a winning major championship game, the Bears' 1985 NFC championship game when they beat the Rams 24-0 at Soldier Field, but being at a rowdy sports bar is indeed another thing. They have a quite nice beer list, and the usual pub food offerings. I learned that their popular 1/2 price pizza night is Tuesdays. They have a big parking lot to handle their big weekend crowds. I'm a big fan of this place, and will look to return again some day for a good time.

Kings is a pretty large facility with games (notably bowling) along with food and beverage service. We sat at the bar, and a World Cup soccer match was broadcast on several large screens. The pork dumplings were not one of the specials, but I liked them a bit better than the discounted items that we ordered. The nacho platter featured shredded pork, and we asked for the jalapenos on the side. We split the smashburger, which was served with waffle fries. Food was brought out and just okay. My faves were the buffalo wontons, avocado crostini and Korean bbq meatballs. Hot honey chicken sliders were okay. I'd pass on the meatball sandwich and sliders. The food was not hot so that impacted my experience. Not sure if these were special menu items though. Had a fun time bowling and wish we had one at home!
