My lovely wife and I were in between shopping and a comedy show in suburban Rosemont, so we decided…read moreto pop into Kings Rosemont for a bite to eat. Kings is a pretty large facility with games (notably bowling) along with food and beverage service. We sat at the bar, and a World Cup soccer match was broadcast on several large screens. Our kind server Derrion pointed out some of their specials, so we went with that sales pitch and ordered a couple of beers and apps. The pork dumplings were not one of the specials, but I liked them a bit better than the discounted items that we ordered. The nacho platter featured shredded pork, and we asked for the jalapenos on the side. We split the smashburger, which was served with waffle fries. The beers were cold and refreshing, as were the cups of water.

Here for a private corporate event for a conference and had a blast. Not from the area so I wasn't…read moresure what to expect but the venue was open and spacious, with many bowling lanes in the front and additional lanes in the back. Initially we were in the main area by the bar and decided to move closer to the back by the arcade which ended up being much more cramped. I also had to bring balls from the front to the back so is recommend the front if there's an option. There were fun games in the arcade and 2 bars for service as well as booth seating throughout. Food was brought out and just okay. My faves were the buffalo wontons, avocado crostini and Korean bbq meatballs. Hot honey chicken sliders were okay. I'd pass on the meatball sandwich and sliders. The food was not hot so that impacted my experience. Not sure if these were special menu items though. Had a fun time bowling and wish we had one at home!

I get that there might be rules about being underage since I was 16 at the time, but the way she handled it kind of made me frustrated. I tried asking a few questions to understand but she really didn't care. No effort to help, no manager, nothing. Just straight up dismissive, like she didn't want to deal with us. We were about to leave, but then I recognized another employee I had seen the day before. She was older and actually kind. I asked her if she could help us, and she ended up getting us seated and we were able to order food. Don't get me wrong I'm glad we were able to get seated but If we weren't allowed to eat because we were under 21, then how did we end up getting seated anyway? It just makes it feel like the first worker either didn't want to help, was having a bad day, or just didn't care at all. I didn't get her name, but I remember she wore a lot of makeup, Hispanic long hair, looks kinda Asian, wore leggings that day funny looking. When we finally sat down, we had to pay before eating, which I guess I understand for younger people, but it still added to everything feeling weird but either way if they know that I'm underage why would they have me paying first and why would I order a drink with alcohol in the first place. We were there from around 3 PM to 10 PM, and during that time we saw more issues. A family sitting next to us was complaining because the waiter was taking way too long which maybe was 15-30 min, and eventually they just left (the waiter was Hispanic with short hair, glasses and looks special. Then another family came in and had problems with seating. They were told certain tables were "reserved," (by the same guy btw) but it didn't even seem true because since we were there all day, we got to see who was there and what was going on with the waiters not being able to satisfy some of the customers. Finally after they had to ask multiple times before they were finally allowed to move to a better spot to watch the big screen. During this time, the same guy (Hispanic guy, short hair, I'm assuming maybe assistant manager or actual manager which would be crazy because he was unprofessional, special looking) was making me and my girlfriend uncomfortable because every time I would look around, I would see him already side eyeing me not in a mean way but in a weird way like if he knew we weren't supposed to be there or he was just bothered that we were they're and maybe even being pissed about customers complaining about the crevice. Overall, the whole place just felt unorganized and inconsistent. One worker tells you one thing, another does something completely different which I'm thankful for because if it wasn't for that lady, we would've just wasted our time. Customer service really depends on who you get, and that shouldn't be the case. Remember, I didn't get her name but the young lady at the front had a lot of makeup, fat, long hair, looks Asian, had leggings on. The guy was wearing all black, had glasses, maybe the manager, special looking, and just bothered by us when we were just trying to have a good time since we were already frustrated.

They aren't cheap but Uno is a Chicago area landmark. Our waitress was very friendly and made it a fun experience. We had Pizza Skins as an appetizer. These are mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon on a deep dish pizza crust. It sounds strange but they are surprisingly good. Their deep dish is more crust with less sauce, and I prefer it this way. Maybe the best deep dish I've had in years. All of the ingredients are balanced and the crust is perfect.

It wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. There were only 2 servers, and one of the servers was working the bar as well. The service was a little slow, but they were accommodating. For example, the person I was with didn't know the beef on the menu wasn't beef sausage, so he asked them to take the beef out of the pizza. They did it for him. The food was okay. The calamari was good, but I wish they had an aioli to put on it instead of the marinara sauce. The wings were fried well. the pizza was good, but it needed more seasoning. Overall, it was a decent experience. The pizza wasn't the best I've had, but it wasn't the worst either.
