After experiencing damage to our home due to sudden and severe plumbing leak, we found ourselves still without hot water, without any water for significant periods of time, and sitting in a house with mold creeping up the wall in the hot water tank area and wet insulation holding moisture up against the bottom of our large manufactured home, after more than a month!!! We could not get any determination or approval for any of the clean up to be done! Though we thought our claim may be too insignificant, we made the call because we did not know what else to do. Insurance companies are not your friend and are not there to help you!! Mr. Hanson took us under his wing and provided the professional guidance that only seasoned public adjusters can. The money we had paid out 30 plus days earlier to stop the escape of water ($3000.00 plus), was immediately paid out to us within a couple of days. The mold was removed and our hot water was restored within a few more day. It was like things finally got moving, and moving quickly like they should have from the beginning. We were able to get our water remediation company paid for all their work, and for our insulation and belly wrap to be completely removed and replaced under our extended replacement cost policy. With Mr. Hanson's guidance, the original settlement of $5200 to us changed to $7500 overnight, and a direct payment in full for $6800 was ultimately made to the vendor who did the water remediation. They usually can only recover about 1/2 of what they bill for, which is completely unjust. Our hats off to Mr. Hanson and his team!! My advice to anyone, as soon as you file a claim...get on the phone to this company. We suffered over a month because we thought our insurance company liked us. After all, we have been with them for 10 years. Wrong! You are 100 steps ahead of us if you heed this advice and call Adjusters International!!
