Bader to the rescue!…read more Well, it wasn't exactly a life or death situation, but my wife and were locked out of our bedroom and I couldn't find the keys even if my life depended on it. Tried all of the unlocking door tricks on YouTube but failed miserably. So I went to Yelp and requested a quote in my area and Bader of Major Locksmith was the very first person to reach me. Gave me a fair price and had offered to come right now (at 9:30pm, mind you) since he probably noticed the desperation in my voice. He was here in 7 minutes and unlocked our door in 5 minutes. It took only 30 MINUTES from the moment he reached out to me to the moment he left my home after unlocking our door. WOW. Now that's service right there! Now I'm at peace knowing I have Bader I can rely on if and when my space cadet brain accidentally locks our doors again! I wholeheartedly recommend Major Locksmith!!!

This place is a scam, beware! My 23-year-old daughter lost…read moreher car keys and needed a locksmith to make a duplicate by reprogramming the ignition using a computer. On 9/28/25, she called at 8am, hours later a guy came, tried to program the ignition, and then said because the engine model number was different from the VIN, it would take more time. He then unplugged the battery and left. Hours later, another guy came and tried to do the same but couldn't, saying he would come back later. Then, at 4pm, a guy named Badr arrived and attempted the same. He couldn't do it and asked if we were in a hurry. HELLO!!! My daughter had been waiting for you guys since 8 in the morning! So Badr canceled their initial reset and still charged my daughter $390. I told him, "You didn't do anything!" He made up all these excuses, saying every time he used a tablet it charges?? Like, come on--karma will come back to bite you, just watch. Anyway, it was a good thing the Uber driver found my daughter's keys and returned them to her. First of all, they shouldn't have taken that long and made us wait for hours in the middle of nowhere. Secondly, if they didn't know how to do it, they should have been honest from the start so we could call another locksmith who can. Third, they shouldn't have charged us when they did absolutely nothing! So, people, stay far away from this place. They clearly don't know what they're doing and will still charge you for their "attempts."

I wish I had read the other reviews before contacting EZ Locksmith because my experience was very…read moresimilar. Communication was terrible, and I felt like I was being gaslighted throughout the process. I confirmed an appointment with Roy for July 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM. He had my address and even reconfirmed the appointment by text the day before. During our initial phone call, Roy quoted me $180 for a replacement key. While on that call, he asked me to send a photo of my existing key fob so he knew exactly what I needed. Then, when I confirmed the appointment the day before, he suddenly changed the price to $250, claiming the $180 price was for a key without a remote. We never discussed a non-remote key, and he had already seen a photo of my key fob. I considered canceling at that point, but I didn't want to start over with another locksmith. The next morning, I waited for my 9:00 AM appointment. I texted him and received no response. My messages showed as SMS (green bubbles), so I wondered if his phone was off. At 9:27 AM, I called, and it went straight to voicemail. He never showed up and never contacted me. Around 11:20 AM, Roy started calling me and claimed he had been trying to text me at 9:00 AM. That simply wasn't true. His phone appeared to have been off all morning, and regardless, he already had my address. If he intended to keep the appointment, he could have simply shown up. No call, no text, no courtesy, and then an attempt to shift the blame. That's not how a professional business should operate. Save yourself the frustration and find a locksmith who communicates honestly and respects your time.

Avoid this company…read more My mother accidentally locked herself out of her home after misplacing both her house key and her vehicle key fob. Her car was unlocked, so she waited there with her dog while waiting for EZ Key Locksmith. The first appointment was well over an hour late, and it took multiple calls just to get updates on when the technicians would arrive. When they finally arrived, they unlocked the house so she could get back inside. They then charged her $500 upfront, broken down on the invoice as: * $50 service call * $50 labor * $200 replacement key * $200 replacement key fob They told us they needed to return to their shop to make and program the replacement key and fob and promised to return by 11:00 p.m. They never came back. After repeated calls, we were told they would arrive by 1:30 a.m. At 12:41 a.m., we received a text saying the technician had a flat tire and would instead arrive by 4:00 a.m. After that, communication stopped. I made numerous calls and sent multiple text messages trying to find out what was happening. When I finally advised them that I would be leaving an honest review if they failed to return, I received a phone call. The caller told me he was "pissed off," said they would not complete the replacement key and key fob service, promised that my mother's $500 would be refunded, and told me not to contact his phone again. As of today, no refund has been issued, and the replacement key and key fob were never provided. We had to hire another locksmith to complete the work. While they did unlock the house, they accepted payment for a replacement key and key fob that they never delivered, promised a refund that never arrived, and then stopped communicating. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.
