    Burrito lamb combo
    Halei J.

I've been here a couple of times now. I haven't been here in ages but was craving Mexican and remembered this place. I remembered it being very authentic and it sure was! I got here about 3pm on a Sunday and was surprised it was fairly busy, being a dead hour. All the customers I believe were Hispanic (a good sign for sure!). i ordered the burrito combo which came with salad, rice and beans to go. It was around $16 bucks, mine was a bit more cuz I ordered lamb. I walked around a bit and came back around 10 minutes later. The server was very nice and the place is small, maybe 5 or 6 tables and clean. There is free street parking out front on Victoria. The food was very good. The burrito was all lamb, not filled with lettuce, rice etc. and everything else was very fresh and clean. Can't wait for my next trip here..........

On a whim stopped by this place as I've seen it before as I drove past. I Feel bad that their was only one server, and possibly cook as well. He was running around with everyone's order serving tables. I absolutely love to support local and small Businesses. The downside to today's visit was no beverages (margaritas) were on the menu. And it was my birthday however I did enjoy the food. It seems like authentic Mexican food, but the closest I've had to real Mexican is Cali. And nothing compares to that. I'd say, if you have a hankering for Mexican food, this will Be a good spot. I have no criticism here, our server was polite and attentive and he was working hard to take care of a few tables.

Ambiance: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 A quaint spot with the sweetest owner and amazing food! We were in the area and craving Mexican food and came across this place so decided to pop in. We were greeted right away by a friendly lady and seated at one of the two patio tables with menus. The menus were quite extensive and almost every single item had a veggie version which was appreciated! I went with the veggie burrito platter which came with a side of beans, rice, guac, and pico de Gallo for $15.50 and my boyfriend got the 3 taco platter. Both were delicious! I do think it was a bit odd that the veggies in my burrito included broccoli, but I didn't mind! The food was fresh and you get a lot of bang for your buck! If you're looking for a super casual no-fuss Mexican spot, I'd recommend this place!

A very homely place for Mexican food. My Mexican friend loves this place and brought me here. It is authentic food. I must say I like the margarita more than the food. I had the beef enchiladas and it was nice. I felt I had better enchiladas elsewhere. The churros and coconut flan were ok. Not really a place I will go to often.

I hate to leave mom and pop establishments a bad review but this place is a no-go. The positive sentiment on Yelp gave me the impression it was going to be very delicious but OMG, it was the first time in a long time I tossed food! Ordered the carne asada enchilada with green tomatillo sauce and spicy guacamole sauce ($19.49), pico de gallo ($4.55), and 3 chicken tacos ($13.00). Pico de gallo was okay but the enchilada was soggy and the green sauce tasted weird and very off-putting. The chicken tacos were dry and lacked flavour (did not taste any sauce/seasoning). Started questioning if the food was spoiled halfway through our meal and that's when we decided to throw everything out instead of finishing it. The chips were great but it's not worth $38. Thoroughly disappointed.

Unassuming neighbourhood Mexican food joint. Been eyeing this everytime we drive and so happy we came by. Small place but cozy. The server is nice. Food is delicious and made to order. Very extensive menu and good prices. I had the al pastor tacos and quite delicious. I wish there was a couple more pieces of pineapple to make it a bit juicier and tangier. The burrito was okay. I ordered the chicken tamales for FOMO. The corn was so soft and flavourful but the chicken was a bit dry. I'd eat just the corn again. Maybe try their cheese variation nex time

Stopped in here late on a rainy day. Got the ceviche, enchiladas, and tacos. The portions were good and the food came with all the good fixing that you'd expect at a Mexican joint. The only things that makes Adelitas 4 stars for me is the atmosphere and the fact that they don't take credit. The music was a bit loud, but the ads that played between songs was what really made it a bit odd for me.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and realized it was a HUGE mistake for coming here. My sister and I were one of the few people waiting at the table and it was same for everyone else (only one table was eating out of 10 seated tables). It was nice we had tortilla chips for free, however waiting time was 30 minutes for my food and water. I saw few people at the line up waited and then left few minutes later. As my sister and I waited for our food, one server guy was so busy serving other tables. I heard microwave beeps few times and the food DIDN'T taste fresh at all. I ordered Burrito combo for $12 and the serving size was perfect for one person. Not too big, but just good for one person. The meat in the burrito was dry and it was nothing special. I bet even the rice was microwaved too? Server was nice and helpful( he even brought refill for the tortilla chips that was great!) , but the service was incredibly slow. Waiting time is at least 30 minutes to get your food. Also washroom needed maintenance as well. I couldn't flush the toilet. SKIP this place. Sal Y Limon is SO much better than Adelitas, trust me. As one yelper mentioned here they're very short staffed here and this must be why the service is slow.

Uber eats order review. $20 lamb soup came with half of the soup into the bag(okay maybe the drivers fault), but completely skipped out no tortillas, no beans, as promised on the menu. Why bother sending it to us? Taste was good but who cares when I'm paying money to get cheated. $54 for 3 tacos, a soup, with a small side of rice. Left the beans out, left the tortillas out, but gave us guac salsa that were supposed to dip our fingers in?

Another Mexican restaurant that i would say worth to visit....small place probably can house only 25 heads at a time, fairly new restaurant around that area and busy..... Neat place with mexican decors but sad to say the decorations are kinda dull for me..there is 1 table for outside sitting.i cant remember if they a have aTV what i remembered was a good spanish music playing,The service is excellent theres only one female server when we came and too bad it got busy....very generous with chips while waiting for our orders.... We had the conchita pilibil its a pulled pork with some veggies.the shrimp tacos...soft tacos but still thats my favorite dish..taste so good...we had thetamales and the alambres...everytime we are visiting any spanish resto we always tried the native drinks....jarritos and tamarindo....people sitting in the other table were spanish and they are telling us to try the sopas...but we are so stuffed already tamales is really filling....we will try that next time....Pricing of food is very reasonable considering the generousity of the serving.....authentic clean hot stuff with verygood service whtaelse can you ask for..... Street parking and its easy a lot of free parking plus theres metered one aswell..... Good for family, group and kids...accept cash, card and debit...noise level is average.... I wish they will improve the decors...mexico is about colors and fiestas i dont feel that inside.very big potential to be a great place...ATM it can already rival other place that serves thesame kind of foods,...... Neat place to enjoy mexican dishes....i shall return.... Waittttt....................that green sauce in everytable in a plastic container was so so good...im addicted to it......spicy sour kinda thing...mmmmmmmm...so so delish.....

Decent Mexican food in this part of town. Wouldn't go so far to say it's a hole in the wall, but it's part of a building that nobody seems to notice. Parking is available on the side streets. The inside is painted lime green, but is otherwise quite plain. The only real hint that the place is Mexican is the assorted of random sombreros. Service was friendly. Food took a while to come though. The tostadas were quite tasty, with plenty of filling. Plenty of sour cream, and a slice of avocado on top. My buddies and I were spilling everywhere trying to eat the thing. The lamb tacos were nice and light. Served with refried beans, yellow rice, a pile of guacamole, and a slice of lime. Nice tender meat chunks, with plenty of onions and cilantro. Beautiful. Thank goodness for the sides, or I would've left hungry though. It also would've been nice if the rice had some other stuff mixed into it. Each table also has several bottles of house sauce (orange and green). Both of them have quite a kick, though one is more tangy than the other. Special mention. All of that (1/3 of the appy, and the full entree) for roughly $17 a person. Not bad at all. Although I don't have Mexican too often, this place is definitely worth a return visit. Recommended.

Price is kinda high for small portions and a mediocre taste. Table and washrooms dirty. Would avoid if I can.

Our server was attentive and around when we needed something but never interrupting, and his recommendations ended up being some of our favourite dishes. The anchovy olives were a standout, super crispy, packed with flavour, and not overly fishy at all (great if you're a bit hesitant about anchovies). The mushroom toast was rich, savoury, and full of umami. Just a heads up not to let it sit too long since it softens the bread. The tuna tartare was fresh and well-balanced. Not my personal favourite served on toast, but still really enjoyable overall. The paella was excellent, perfectly cooked shrimp, tclams, and crispy pork belly chicharrón that added the best salty, fatty crunch. The roasted cabbage completely surprised me and was easily one of the best veggie dishes I've had in a while. I could have eaten a whole plate of it. We wrapped things up with churros and shared a pitcher of sangria. For three people, it came out to about $68 each before tip, which felt very fair for how much we ordered. Would definitely recommend.

As well, the manchego was so tiny it was like a shaving . The bone marrow amounted to about three teaspoons of marrow. We were so sad and dissatisfied. The patatas bravas was okay. Unfortunately we do not have a reason to return.
