Having pretty crummy teeth, I've been to more dentists than most, and this was the most comfortable experience I've had. Both Dr. Leake and her hygienist were extremely friendly and made me feel very relaxed. They had an emergency patient come in right before me, so I'm sure that put them a bit behind schedule, and despite that I did not feel like I was being rushed at all. They both took the time to thoroughly explain things to me and answer all of my questions. On top of that, their prices are great and they were able to schedule my next appointments without a long wait. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*

I have had an array of procedures from multiple cavities, pulled teeth, crowns, root canals and most recently, Invisalign. Prior to coming here, I had a few bad experiences at the dentist and have always been very apprehensive. He is very gentle and thorough with the numbing process and frequently checks in to make sure the pain is under control and that you cannot feel anything. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and the importance of your oral health. I am a third of the way done with Invisalign and everything is moving slowly but surely. I have felt very informed throughout the whole process thus far. His staff is also phenomenal - very friendly and knowledgeable. They do a great job at scheduling and limiting the wait times in the waiting room. I will say, early morning appointments are best because he is very busy. All in all he deserves 5 stars or more. He is meant to be a dentist & i'm so glad my family found him.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, but I had a great experience! It was easy to get an appointment and the staff were nice and friendly. The male Dr Yosef (John) was great! Very personable and I couldn't believe that my root canal didn't hurt! The first one I had was at a different practice and it was terrible!! So painful and made me postpone this one for years! He was kind and gentle and even the shots of novacaine to numb my mouth were painless. The procedure took a little over an hour and I couldn't be happier. The cost was more than I was expecting but that's due to my insurance, not them. I have to go back in two weeks and I actually don't mind.

Left a voicemail and did not receive any call back. The sign outside of the building says walk-ins are welcome, so I figured I would give it a try since their Saturday hours are 8am-2pm. I went at 9:30am, and the door was locked & lights off. I called again and still got their voicemail. So I'm either to believe that they are no longer an operating dentist's office or have terrible customer service. I went to Precision Dental a few blocks over, who were able to get me in the same day for an appointment, and showed me issues that Grace Dental never brought up with me regarding my wisdom teeth. There are so many other dentists offices in the area, including a couple along the same stretch of Lawrence between Elston and Pulaski. Any of them are more worth the time and energy than Grace.

He had a pleasant personality and chats with you while he's setting up. He remembers my profession and relates stories about his nephew, who is also in my field. He isn't pushy, trying to make me get procedures that really aren't necessary. The previous dentist I went to (only once) told me I had seven cavities (out of nowhere!) that needed to be filled immediately. When I went to Dr. Cajiao, he saw only one small spot on a back tooth; he said it didn't seem to be problematic, so I could either get the filling at that time or wait to see if it changes or not. It hasn't changed, so he said I don't have to worry and rush to get it filled. The waiting room may be a little bland, and the equipment is not the newest, but it functions just fine. No free toothbrush and floss like I got at other dentists, but not a big deal. I can get that myself for a couple bucks at the drugstore. One time I goofed on how far apart my appointments were - my insurance will pay for only one visit every six months - but Dr. Cajiao's office held the bill until the insurance would cover it. They went out of their way to save me probably $100!
