Great service and amazing staff. They are always very quick and you never have to wait around like other offices I've visited in Chicago. They are great about following up for future appointments as well so you don't forget. Love Cornerstone! read more

They botched a crown (filed it too far down so it was black underneath and jagged) and refused to fix it without me paying for a brand new one. I tried to work with them but the basically told me I was out of luck. Really disappointing. Everyone makes mistakes but if you make a mistake, fix it. read more

They're really good and work quite efficiently to get you taken care of. The most I've waited is like 10-20 minutes and that's only because they were super busy. They're also quite flexible with payment options so you can choose, whatever works for you. read more

I went for a new patient appointment and received deplorable service. I needed x-rays and a cleaning. During the visit, Dr. Nguyen told me I had "a lot" of cavities but wouldn't explain exactly how many or where they were until I insisted she clarify. Then, I was brought a tablet while sitting in the dentist chair to make me submit credit card payment before they would begin any kind of cleaning. That in itself made me extremely uncomfortable, as all medical offices I have ever visited process payment when you check out on your way out of the appointment. The team did not perform a thorough cleaning but rather only flossed and brushed, and insisted that I make a second appointment to do a more thorough cleaning (but not an industry-standard 2-part scaling and root planing). They told me I would then have to come back for a THIRD appointment to address my cavities. Even if all of this was standard practice, neither the hygienists nor the doctor were upfront, professional, or communicative at any point throughout the visit. Here's the kicker. I visited a new office the following week to get a second opinion, where I learned that I in fact had NO cavities that needed addressing. I also learned that the x-rays that my insurance was billed for only included about 5 bite wing pictures; most offices take about 20 pictures to get a thorough view of teeth health. Those 5 pictures did not even include a view of the roots of my teeth, so my new dentist could only guess at my root health. Because Cornerstone billed my insurance for full x-rays, I will not be able to get an actual thorough bite wing x-rays for another 5 years (unless I pay hundreds out of pocket, because insurance only covers x-rays once every 5 years). If you are looking for a dentist in the area, absolutely do not choose Cornerstone. read more

I don't recommend Cornerstone if you take COVID seriously or have anxiety. I tried to show them my vaccine card and they said they don't need it. Then they brought me back to a big open bay area with two other patients in chairs, no masks, getting work done. I didn't see any air purifiers or feel ventilation. The X-ray made me gag, so the dentist came back to assist the tech. As it was making me gag again, she said "Try not to think about it so much." Not the most helpful thing when something is making it hard to breathe. I shoved off the lead apron and left. Good customer service -- they called to say I hadn't seemed happy when I left and ask for feedback. I gave it. They said that only restaurants need to have proof of vaccination, because what if someone has COVID and a dental emergency? They said they have private rooms for clients who aren't comfortable with open bay, and they wished they had known, and they have this wonderful high-tech suction that keeps things safe, as well as observing the 6'-rule. I suggested maybe tell people what makes it safe to have their masks off and mouths open in a room full of other people they don't know. Suction is great for the water in someone's mouth, but what about talking, breathing, coughing, etc when you're not using the suction in their mouths? Because apparently having COVID doesn't keep you out of getting dental care in the open room. Vapors are still happening when you're not running suction, I don't know if these other people have Covid, and apparently Cornerstone Dental doesn't either. read more

I have been here twice once for a cleaning and once for a crown that fell out. They didn't even floss during the cleaning or ask me any questions about my routine or anything. So if you are looking for a fast cleaning go here but if you want an actual good cleaning go elsewhere. Second time saw a different dentist since obviously didn't want to go to the same person who doesn't know how to floss. The lady was not clear about the issue and then when I called back to ask more questions she said maybe I should go somewhere else if I have so many questions. Or perhaps you should fee comfortable answering questions about a procedure. I really wanted to like this place since I can walk there but poor quality dentistry and bad customer service makes me write this and find another dentist. read more

I made an appointment because they said they accepted my insurance. I know I have a couple of cavities, I Wanted to take care of them. There are many red flags for me while the whole appointment played out but I'm going to cut to chase as to why I would never return. The doctor barely explained anything to me, said I had cavities didn't tell me what teeth and I would possibly need 4 root canals, yes 4! mind you I'm in no pain what so ever or any discomfort. At the end they show me a bill I would have to pay out of pocket for my fillings, my insurance was no where to be mentioned. The bill was for about $1,800 for the cavities and would be an additional starting price of $900 for each potential root canal. Yes I was in pain after this appointment once the shock of what had happen wore off. I absolutely got a second opinion, I do not need any root canals and my insurance does pay for fillings. Horrible experience, I feel like they just want to get you in the doors and profit from you. If I can give a ZERO I would, but I post this review for awareness, don't feel cornered by a dental office, there's other options. read more

Dr. Nguyen is the best! She is very kind and attentive to my needs. The staff is respectful and helpful with scheduling or insurance questions. The office is kept very neat and clean. I look forward to seeing them every time I'm due for my dental care. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great dental team. read more

I've been here for dental care a few times as it's conveniently located near me. Every time I come here I always feel like a number as the only thing they care about is making money off of you. The last time I was in the office the doctor recommended a treatment without fully asking me the right questions nor reviewing my record on file as I denied her request immediately. I was only in the office for a check up and cleaning. They couldn't even clean my teeth correctly as they didn't use toothpaste the two times I visited. Also, the dental kits that they give you at the end are very cheap products. This dental office likes to cut corners by providing sub par service and milking your insurance. There are other professional dental offices in the area as I don't recommend coming here. read more

Súper nice dentist and always on top making sure you have the right care. I've gone to 2 different dentist and both are awesome !

I'm happy to have dentist appointments here! it's always such a wonderful experience. everyone is super professional and friendly. I highly recommend! read more

I had horrible experience here. They'll try to squeeze money out of you as much as they could while providing low quality service. Look elsewhere read more

This was my first time going to this dentist and I was very pleased. It was a speedy process and the dentist seemed very knowledgeable. The place was clean and welcoming. My only complaint keeping me from rating it was 5 stars is that they did not polish (with the mechanical brush and toothpaste) my teeth after the cleaning and they did not floss me as my old dentist did both after every cleaning. read more

Fantastic. Super skilled and professional. Besides normal check ups they did capped tooth. They are efficient, on time. Easy to deal with. Super pleasant too! read more

Excellent service provided. Staff was very friendly. Very satisfied with my appointment visit.

I'm very late on this update, however the business owner did end up refunding me the cost of the visit. As much as there was a lack of coordination on the receptionist's and dentist's part, they apologized for the miscommunication and misjudgment which is a staple of running a good business. The refund was not necessary, but it showed their commitment to providing quality customer service to correct a bad experience. I have a family dentist now, but I would recommend them and if I ever change dentists, I would give them another shot. read more

I have been coming to this location as well as their other location now for three years now. They are very professional and do a good job at cleaning your teeth. They are also very timely, you will be in and out within 30-40min and there is hardly any wait time if you come on time to your appointment. You will not even wait more than five minutes before you are already sitting in the dental chair. I recommend you come here! They also accept Medicaid insurance! read more

If I could give them no stars I would. This place has the worst customer service and is very unprofessional. I had my first visit and when I went to schedule the next appointment, they said they has "lost" all of my information and I had to fill out all new patient information again. I also had a death in the family and missed an appointment and the women on the phone tried to charge me and extra $25 fee. She never even bothered asking me why I missed the appointment, neither did she care. I told her forget it, I'm not paying that and she suggested I go somewhere else then and hung up on me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Had a great experience! The staffs here are very kind and also respectful! Also very gentle.Would of course recommend!

A great experience! It was my first time at Cornerstone Dental Care the other day, and they were very kind and helpful. The entire staff was very nice, which was a refreshing change from my last dentist office which treated you more like a number than a patient. I would highly recommend Cornerstone, they make a visit to the dentist painless! read more

I have always been insecure about my smile before my braces treatment, and sometimes my teeth would cut the insides of my mouth. My mother came across this dental care location while reading the Vietnamese newspaper. We were excited to see that Cornerstone offered free braces. First impressions, the appointment was quick, and the customer service was good. I was very hopeful that I could even get braces because my family's insurance covered it. After several appointments throughout the year, my siblings and I noticed that the customer service we received was not welcoming and good as we first thought it was. The environment was overall awkward. Some dentists would have a change in tone when greeting other patients. I'm not going to say any names, but a few of the dentists were super rough on my teeth. I know that they are supposed to, but it was so rough to the point where my eyes would start to water, and I would flinch. It was quite painful. On some days, I would arrive to my appointments on time or even earlier, but I wouldn't get checked up right away. Waiting for long is the worst. Let's skip to the end. I had my braces on for more than 2 years, so the time to take them off was coming. I was so excited to see my end result. I still noticed that some of my teeth were crooked though with the braces on. But it seemed like this was all the dentists could do at the time, so I guess it was okay to take them off?? When they took them off, my father took a look and noticed that some of my teeth were still crooked. I kind of felt like they gave up on me. He was disappointed and so was I. I know not all smiles can be perfectly straight, but the crookedness was so noticeable. Then it came to the making of the retainers. The process was alright. After the plastic retainers were done settling, I tried them on, but they didn't cover the top parts of my teeth. That was odd... Anyways, I accidentally threw my retainers away while I was eating out with my friends and family. This was MY fault, I don't have good eyes. I tried to get replacements, but we couldn't afford it at the time. Sadly, my teeth have shifted drastically. ): Hopefully I'll get braces again in the future. Thank you for your efforts. read more

My family moved back to Chicago from Boston in June 2020, in the thick of pandemic lockdown and fear. We live in a new-to-us neighborhood and needed to find a dental practice that did everything well, from routine care for adults and children to orthodontics for all ages, Enter Cornerstone Dental Care. My family of six is well cared for here, and the office's COVID precautions are top notch and put one at ease. My oldest children have started orthodontic care here this year and it's going great. We are happy patients! read more

The receptionist was supposed to tell me whether their office accepted my insurance. I didn't hear anything about my insurance not being taken so I made an appointment. Two days before my appointment they called to confirm I was keeping my appointment and I asked them to confirm about my insurance. Sure enough, the lady tells me that they don't accept my insurance. I canceled my appointment and complained about the oversight. It leads me to ask when was I going to find out that the visit was out of pocket? Before or after the services were completed? Why was it pulling teeth to get this type of information? Unprofessional and inattentive and I wasn't even in the chair. read more

Solid place, and I know that's kind of hard to imagine, especially with a dentist office. They did a few cavities/fillings for me, and I was impressed with the quickness of the procedures (they broke it into 2 visits). They made it painless and convenient, breaking down everything they were doing and answering all my questions. The staff is friendly and professional, and most importantly upfront about everything from prices, to procedures to what my insurance covers/doesn't, to planning for the future, to simple follow ups; something I appreciate. I never leave here with more or unanswered questions. For as long as I keep my current dental plan, I will continue to come here. Highly recommended. read more

I recently had my first visit to Cornerstone Dental. Everything about the visit, from making the appointment to the exam itself was excellent. The front staff is professional and very friendly. I am a very anxious dental patient and felt completely at ease the moment I walked in and spoke with the staff. I saw Dr. Chris Lee and he was great. He explained everything, was very patient, gentle and has a calming way about him. I never felt rushed as I have with other practices. I'd also like to mention the waiting room and exam room were very clean. It's obvious that the staff takes pride in their practice. I'm very happy I found them and will definitely continue to see Dr. Lee. I highly recommend Cornerstone Dental. read more

Going to the dentist is no fun. So much so that I waited more than a year between cleanings (I know, I'm disappointed in myself, too). I was most interested in getting my teeth whitened (#millennialfail) and found a Groupon for an awesome deal at Cornerstone. When my common sense kicked in, I scheduled a cleaning when I picked up my whitening kit. The scheduling process was very easy and their hours are amazing for us 9-to-5 working folk (open until 8 pm!). They were very thorough in collecting my insurance info and making sure I knew any costs upfront, AND, best of all, Dr. Nguyen and her staff made the cleaning process enjoyable. The office is cute and the equipment state of the art. The hygienist was gentle but detailed, as was Dr. Nguyen. All staff were friendly (& funny!), which made for a great visit. I had to get an old cavity re-patched, and it was painless. I didn't feel the shot or the drilling, and it was an all-around great experience. I already scheduled my next cleaning in six months, and highly recommend Cornerstone! read more
