Recently hosted a presentation here. Private room was awesome. Large projection screen with 10' HDMI and power nearby. Hi tech dimmable lights and ceiling fan. Solid doors for sound insulation from regular guests. Service was on point with timing and adapted to a slight change in program without issue. Food was tremendous. Our clients were all very happy. Would definitely recommend.

We finally tried this location for the first time on a Friday evening. We met up with some friends are were seated pretty quickly. The service was good overall, the waitress was friendly. We were excited to try the south location and see the differences between the two. - Dirty martini (4/5): they have a martini menu, but all of the martinis are sweet! I had to get the dirty and it was good, with olives! - Super deluxe happy fun time burger (3.5/5): the burger was good, pretty juicy, lots of toppings. The onion straws added a nice crunch. There was lots of sauce, very flavorful. Fries were good just a bit greasy, love the crispy pieces. - Baked tortellini pasta (3/5): good flavor but too salty for my taste. The pesto sauce was very creamy and savory, with good flavor but just too salty. Tortellini were tasty. Overall would come back for the fun atmosphere and good appetizers.

My wife and I decided to stop for dinner before leaving Columbia and I found Addison's on Google so we thought we would give it a try. The restaurant was busy when we arrived on a Saturday night, but we were seated immediately. Our server, Victoria, was awesome! She was friendly and took great care of us and did the other employees we encountered. I ordered the chicken Asiago pasta and a Caesar salad. My wife ordered the hamburger with cucumber salad as the side. My salad arrived quickly. The salad had great flavor and the lettuce and croutons were fresh. Shortly after finishing my salad, our entrees arrived. My pasta was piping hot and looked great. My wife enjoyed the burger and cucumber salad. The pasta had great flavor and was quite filling. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice date night look, but also casual enough to wear jeans and a hoodie. If we come back to Columbia ,we would definitely go back to Addison's South. I just hope Victoria would be there to take care of us!

One word....NACHOS. Those fried wonton nachos are super crave-able! We've tried other menu items but we come back for the nachos.

Wow! We came here for brunch and we were wowed! The menu was small, but trust me it doesn't need to have anything else on the menu. There were four of us and we all shared our meal. The. Best. Biscuits. And. Gravy. Ever! Next time I'm in Columbia, I'll be coming back!

I usually love addisons for it's laid back no fuss vibes. I recently dinned in and ordered take out from this location and it was great. The same experience as the downtown location but more lowkey and quiet at night. The building is new so it is extremely clean which is always a plus. The location is also great because I'm on the southside of town a lot so now i don't have to go out of the way for food downtown! I recently tried the french dip and is soo good especially with mojito fries. Highly recommend!

I couldn't have told you a single thing about this part of the country. But after one lunch at Beet Box, I'll be talking about Columbia for a long time. The Lamb & Eggs is an absolute masterpiece. On paper, it doesn't even sound like it should work. Then it shows up looking like a beautiful mess--a mishmash of flavors, textures, herbs, vegetables, creamy elements, perfectly fried eggs, and incredibly seasoned lamb. It feels like chaos... until you take the first bite. Then it all makes perfect sense. Every ingredient has a purpose, and somehow it all comes together in one of the most memorable dishes I've had in a very long time. As incredible as that bowl was, the Za'atar Fries with Harissa Mayo somehow stole the show. Crispy. Battered. Perfectly seasoned. Every single fry had that satisfying crunch on the outside while staying fluffy inside, and the harissa mayo was the perfect finishing touch. These aren't fries you order because you're looking to round out the meal. They're fries you'll be thinking about long after you leave. I came into Columbia knowing absolutely nothing about it. I left wondering how a place this good isn't on every food lover's radar. Beet Box isn't just a great lunch spot--it's a Godsend. Six stars...out of five!

My drink had a rose petal in it, but that little touch didn't feel contrived or cheeky - it was just a nice pop of color in a great-tasting drink. The baked Boursin cheese was absolutely amazing - I walked out of there realizing I probably ate half a wheel of cheese, and I totally didn't regret it. Dinner was the highlight - I ordered the boom boom shrimp - served on a bed of sushi rice, there were mangos, thinly sliced jalapeños, purple cabbage, shrimp fried to perfection, and a nicely flavored boom boom sauce on top. My only criticism of this place is that plates come out of the kitchen as they make them, so be prepared to share a dish or wait. We were halfway through my dinner before my friend's fish and chips arrived. I'm happy to share, but I'm not a fan of this dining trend. Overall fantastic dinner experience!!

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.

It's a little hidden away, but honestly, if you have your windows down, just follow the smell of smoked BBQ and you'll find it. As soon as I walked in, the smoky aroma hit me in the best way possible. It immediately made me want something off the smoker, even though I was only planning on a lighter lunch. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Grace, who was friendly, attentive, and quick to bring over a menu and get my drink started. Since it was my first visit and I wasn't overly hungry, I asked Grace what she recommended. She suggested the smoked wings, so I went with those. They came out pretty quickly, and before long I had a dozen golden-brown smoked wings in front of me. They were excellent. The wings had great smoky flavor, were cooked perfectly, and weren't dried out like smoked wings sometimes can be. The portion was generous, too. I only made it through six and saved the rest for dinner, which was a nice bonus. Overall, D. Rowe's made a great first impression. The Menu is packed full of salivating descriptions. We will be back to try other items, despite my disappointment in the burger. My daughter loves the pulled pork sandwich on the gluten-free bun, and my wife enjoyed her chicken bacon club sandwich. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. I find if a restaurant can get a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings right they're worth a second go. I read in the description of this restaurant that they have generous portions, I order onion rings at five onion rings, that's not generous in my book. The onion rings were greasy and clearly fried in the same oil that fish is fried in. My wife and I had completely opposite experiences with the bun, she said hers was light and fresh. Mine was cold and stale. The burger tasted as if it was a hard pressed frozen patty that have been microwaved. I'm sure it wasn't microwaved. It just had that dense bland flavor in texture. The environment was definitely family friendly, and our server "Emma" was very sweet. She was not overbearing, nor was she absent. Like I said, we will be back, but I won't order the burger and onion rings ever again.
