Nothing here was bad. Nothing here was great. For the price, you would expect more. However, service was good. Artsy little place in a college town trying to push the envelope. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss. read more

Valentines Day dinner before the Mizzou, Texas basketball game. Great location downtown. Nice service and really good food, wine. The chutney that came with the croquettes was amazing. I normally don't like house ketchup but I liked the one here. The salad and pomme frites were delicious. The house white wine was great. No complaints. My boyfriend said his Steak Frites was cooked perfectly. We would return when back in Columbia. read more

We made a reservation here for a birthday dinner. Great spot for special occasions, just a bit pricey. I wish they would give a free item for occasions, but unfortunately not. Otherwise, great food and great service overall. - Diver sea scallops and buttercup squash agnolotti (4/5): Scallops tasted fresh and prepared well. Came with 3 decently sized scallops, and the side items. Delicious overall just a small portion. - Double patty smash burger (4.5/5): This burger was delicious. Cooked well. We added the egg and bacon. Bacon was super thick and juicy. The fries were good, just wish they were a bit more crispy. And omg the truffle sauce it comes with is amazing! - Cheesecake ice cream (4.5/5): This was some of the best ice cream, especially with the crust pieces and the cheesecake flavor. Delicious! read more

This was our first time here and our experience was amazing. We went on a Thursday night and were seated right away. The restaurant was very quiet and chill, but more upscale than many other similar places. We both ordered drinks and they were so good and very reasonably priced. I had the autumn squash ratatouille and it was delicious. Although pricey, their menu is seasonal and changes often so we will definitely be back to try more items! read more

This place easily became one of my new favorite spots in Columbia. The food is so unique but also so delicious. I was just planning on drinking a glass of wine after a long day and then going to grab something to eat afterwards, but the service was so welcoming and I was having a good time chatting with the employees that I never ended up leaving. I would recommend going with more than one person because everything is more than shareable. I got the Mokum carrots because I wanted to try something I had never had before and they were FABULOUS! But they were so filling with the bread so I didn't even end up ordering an entree. I did end up ordering a desert though, because Sam, the host, insisted that I needed it and he was NOT WRONG. I would come back here just for that cake alone. For attire/ vibe: I wore jeans and a sweater and did not feel under or over dressed. I would not wear sweat pants, but to each their own! Overall, I will 100% be recommending to everyone and coming back. read more

We are from outside the area but had great memories of this place from a visit a few years ago. Ate here tonight and were blown away! This place is getting better and better. Had a variety of appetizers that were all amazing - scallion pancakes, beet & burrata salad, fried mushrooms, cheese & chive gourgeres, roasted carrots, citrus olives & fresh baguette. Then the mains took it up a notch - steaks, duck, cannoli & smash burgers. Incredible cocktail and wine list! We will come every time we visit Columbia! read more

We had a delightful meal. The smashburger was a star of the meal, so rich and delicious. The fries and mushrooms were also great! Drink menu always impresses. Suggestion: bring back the truffle raviolo with diver sea scallops (I know the menu changes, but dang that was good) read more

This is the second time we've been to Cherry Street, the first time before COVID. It is a small, intimate place with excellent food options. We were celebrating a birthday and were not disappointed in this French/American restaurant. We started the evening with cocktails, 3 old fashioneds and a "Don't call me Shirley with rum. All excellent! We then ordered 6 grilled oysters on the half shell, small in size but the buttery spinach sauce with the oysters was excellent and spicy, sheep's milk croquettes--absolutely delicious! Our entrees were 2 of the steak frites, steak tender, frites delicious, blue crab raviolo and the striped bass. No one at our table was disappointed! We all enjoyed our meals but were not completely stuffed. We did order a pear galette for the table. And it also was delicious! This restaurant is really the sleeper in Columbia. It is not a cheap meal , but you really get wonderful food! And our server, Lauren, was the best. Thank you! read more

Cherry Street Cellar offers beautiful desserts. Pictured are 2 versions of their Opera Cake. This is an incredibly delicious dessert made of almond flour and 100% gluten-free. Also pictured is a gluten-free Blood Orange dessert with coconut and dark chocolate. It's like a sorbet, nice and tart but seasonal. I'm hoping it returns next summer during blood orange season. They also have fabulous craft cocktails and gourmet food that is second to none. I love the ambiance, and the service is the best around. read more

Worst place I've ever eaten at in my life. Ordered the premier steak on their menu, to be cooked medium rare. When it came out the steak was medium to medium-well, and without any flavor. They don't season their steaks when cooking. Even with salt and pepper, totally tasted bland. Anyway, we paid $45 for the best steak on their menu and it tasted at best like dog food. TLDR: food tastes worse than dog food!!!! read more

We had the pleasure of dining here last night. I brought my 12 year daughter with me. She is always willing to taste new foods, but is usually very picky and she loved everything she tried! My daughter and I both had burgers and we both agreed it was the best burger we have ever had. The house made ketchup was incredible too! My sister in law had the duck, I didn't try it, but she cleaned her plate, so that must have been great too! We also tried all three desserts and they were also amazing! The service was great and the staff very attentive and nice. We will definitely come back! read more

The cellar was a little drafty and the my table was quite close to the couple seated adjacent, but well lit and quiet enough to hold a conversation. We went for a recruitment dinner and had a mixed experience: Bone marrow was phenomenal Frog legs were good but spicy (too spicy as someone could hardly taste the frog) Steak frites was ok only to our all's opinion - also the presentation of the steak being "sliced into pieces" took away the true steak character. Prices are on the higher end but the ambience is very nice. read more

If you want a special evening, go to the Cherry Street Cellar. You can make a reservation or sit at the bar. We choose the bar to watch and chat with the bartender. He always has a great recommendation for dinner and it's always right. The food is delicious and the surroundings cozy. It's one of a few places where you can have a conversation and actually hear it. read more

I took my family here who were visiting from out of town. We all have very different tastes in food and wine but we ALL were floored by the entrees and deserts. Great atmosphere as well. We are a tough crowd to impress but they nailed it. I personally appreciated all of local ingredients they utilized. read more

This is a new place. It offers a degree of culinary sophistication not yet seen on COMO scene. Restaurant is operated by a wife and husband team and both bring extensive experience and renown from their years in Chicago. I have now been there two times. Spectacular. Fresh oysters, amazing fresh fish, beef and duck are all on the menu. Bar featured some seriously advanced mixology. Small plates include fried chicken sliders, smoked trout, pomme frites, and more... A culinary treat. read more

My sister and I recently went here for dinner and this place is hands down one of the best dinners I've ever had. Everything - from the ambiance (think intimate English pub type atmosphere) to the appetizers (cheese plate and east coast oysters!!), entrees (steak frites were insane and trout with lump crab was so yummy) and dessert was incredible. They also have an impressive wine list (ordered an Oregon Pinot noir) and just the best, friendliest, covid-safe service. What an absolute gem in Como! Will be back for sure! read more

Super cute place, but, I had the oysters last night and have had the worst food poisoning since. Fever, hives, nausea, etc. Maybe avoid the oysters when you go! read more

We trie this restaurant last week. No one there-3 tables only. Severs were very robotic and seem bored. Food was good, but not outstanding. And, very very expensive. We won't be return customers! read more

We were there last night. We walked in but will make a reservation in the future. The cocktails, appetizers and entrees were great. We sat by the bar because it's a little quieter. Server was very good, too. read more

To start, I'm happy the wine list is diverse and really reasonably priced. The vegetarian entree was really creative and had interesting flavors, but it would be nice to have a bit more food for the price. The steak had the common Como problem of being a weird cut/too gristly (Missouri-specific problem?) but the other food, the service and wine list made up for it. Can't wait to try again! read more

Just had our first visit to Cherry St Cellar since new ownership took over 2 months ago. We had an incredible dining experience . By far the most creative food that Columbia has ever seen. Every dish was beautifully crafted with a great deal of thought put into each ingredient. The timing was perfect, as it allowed us to enjoy our company and to savor each course. Delpha , our server, was delightful and extremely knowledgeable. If you are looking for cosmopolitan dining this is definitely your place. read more

This restaurant was nothing short of amazing! A great date night out filled with wonderfully crafted cocktails, sophisticated apps, spectacular entrees - and definitely ask for wine pairings as that really enhanced the experience. The staff was knowledgeable on all items on the menu and very friendly. Everything was cooked to perfection and loved the vibe. Can't wait to go back!! read more

This is a great and much needed addition to the CoMo restaurant scene: quality, inventive fresh food with panache and polish. The menu and space have been re-invented and revitalized. There is a freshness, sophistication and warmth that's so welcome! To clarify, this is the former Wine Cellar and Bistro sold to and reimagined by a couple with former experience at Chicago's acclaimed Naha and Brindille. It shows. read more
