This dish is very flavorful and solidly spicy. Best biryani I've ever had. And my God, the portion size was HUGE. It was so heavy to lift the container and only cost $18. It could probably serve four people lunch and I'm not even joking. What in the world is involved with their $50 "bucket" of biryani??? Chicken Masakkali was great and I enjoyed the sauces that came with it (assuming that's what they were for). Samosa was great. Great Service, but Extremely Disappointing Food…read more I decided to give Saffron a try today after seeing so many positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience fell well short of expectations. We ordered several dishes, starting with the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was incredibly underwhelming. It lacked spice and flavor, which was disappointing considering how rich and flavorful this dish typically is. We also ordered the Chicken 65, and unfortunately, that was another miss. The taste was unpleasant, and neither dish left us wanting another bite. To make matters worse, we discovered a long strand of hair in our garlic naan, which was honestly pretty off-putting. We also ordered papadum that never made it to our table. Thankfully, we weren't charged for it, but it was still another oversight during an already disappointing dining experience. I do want to give credit where it's due: the customer service was good, and I appreciated that. However, good service can only go so far when the quality of the food doesn't match. I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, especially given its glowing reviews, but between the lackluster flavors, missing appetizer, and hair in our naan, I can't say I'll be returning. Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me.

You order at the counter and you fetch your drinks from the soda fountain. My guest and I were actually planning to go to another Indian restaurant, however, it was closed unexpectedly. We did enjoy the food itself. We started with vegetarian spring rolls which were delicious. I ordered the butter chicken, my go to dish. I enjoyed it a lot. My friend had something vegetarian, but I forgot the name of the dish. She said it ran a bit spicy. I wasn't really into the naan here, it seem rather doughy. The paper plates didn't do it for me, nor did the paper cup for my hot tea. So really just get it carry out, because the food is great, but the ambiance is non-existent.
