I'm so glad that Hala's found a new home! If you like falafel, this is it. The new spot is larger than their old one. You can order ahead, which I recommend, and just pop in to pick it up. If you're more of a "on scene" person, they also have a touchscreen that you can use to order. I love the salad, falafel, hummus, sumac onions, so goood! The owners are so nice and willing to serve. I was looking for a healthy quick bite to eat while visiting the area and Hala's Grill popped up as an option. I love Middle Eastern food so this seemed like a good option. If you are not looking for this you might miss it as it is tucked into a busy strip mall next to the Subway. It is modestly spaced with only 2 tables to dine it. For the build your own bowl option you first order your protein and base and they cook it fresh. Because of this it did take a little longer, but it was worth it. As we were waiting I noticed a few others who came in the pick up their orders. I think this would be a great option next time. Once the protein and base were prepared we added the toppings. There were fresh options such as Hummus, Baba ganoush, tabbouleh, yogurt cucumber salad, tomato cucumber salad, feta, and more. We did not eat inside, but there were tables along the parking lot. It was a very busy spot due to being so close to campus and we barely got a parking spot. I will definitely stop in again if I am in the area. read more

First time here. Went to pick up dinner so my order was guesswork but it worked out well. A chicken shawarma wrap, a buffalo chicken shawarma wrap, and a mixed grilled veggie. Ample food for two dinners and at least one lunch. Very fresh and tasty. Buffalo was flavorful but not "spicy". Located in a strip mall, this Middle Eastern Halal eatery hit the spot! We were looking for something healthy and delicious and came upon this place on Yelp. You can build your own bowls with 1 or 2 proteins, a choice of 4 bases and toppings and sauces. It is pretty small so there are only a few tables to dine in. All the meats are cooked fresh and they add the toppings and sauces at the bar. It was all delicious! Portion size were good and prices were reasonable. We'll be back! read more

The salads that they provide are delicious, however the price is a bit high for what it is. $21 for a bowl and drink is very high no matter how you look at it. It used to be $13 but they have continually raised the prices to see what they can get away with. The bowl size is comparable to chipotle across the street but almost twice as much. read more

Hala's Grill is unique to the community, and something that was totally needed. Think of it as a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. There are several options to choose when you build your bowl, which was great for my family, everyone customized to their liking. Between the 4 of us we had the Beef Shawarma, Chicken Shawarma, and Falafel. It was all cooked to perfection, the falafel was still crispy even after the drive home. The bowls were filled generously, and all of the toppings and sauces were tasty. When I was eating my bowl, it seemed like it was unending, a very large amount of food. I ordered online through their website, and they were putting the finishing touches on the bowls when I arrived 15 minutes later. The website was very easy to use, and it allowed us all to personally customize exactly what we wanted. The restaurant space is take out only. Both the employee and owner were very friendly and passionate about their food. My family can't wait to try it again. read more
