Just happened across this place as I was walking through Tivoli Village. Beautiful outdoor seating as well as seating indoors, which is lovely for when you have a large group that wants to sit outside and enjoy the awesome Spring weather. I literally came here for a glass of wine and some chill time, and this place didn't disappoint. You can pick between wine by the bottle or by wine by the glass. I chose a wonderful Chardonnay from Oregon. The bartender was very knowledgeable on the wines available and what they paired well with on the food menu. The inside of these place is so cute and quaint. We got seated in the back which was a little darker which gave it a more intimate feeling. We order the Sunchokes because we never had them before. They were really good BUT some people have adverse reactions to sunchokes - I learned that I and my friend were those people. My stomach started cramping and let's just say they aren't called Fartichokes for nothing.... That's all I will say. We also ordered the pear and arugula salad which was so good. Loved it! We live pretty close to Tivoli, so I have no idea how we haven't been here yet. We got the chili garlic shrimp, pork belly salad, potatoes in duck fat and the burger. All were very good. The wine selection is really nice and unique. Everyone we interacted with was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. It's a really cute little spot. There may not be a better date night spot in the area. My wife and I have frequented here a few times for a little get away. We typically call ahead and make a reservation just to be safe on the weekends. I prefer to sit outside with the weather where it is, but they have a nice dining area inside, can be a bit loud at times and I like my space so I prefer to be outside. Outside has couches/tables/heaters and a little more room. Their menu is not overly extensive, but has enough variety for everyone. We typically opt for the charcuterie board and the sangria. The sangria is the best deal you can find. $35 for all you can drink per couple. You can swap between red or white and both are typically changed up on a regular basis. But impossible to beat this deal. Very flavorful and not overly strong! The charcuterie board is a mix of different meats and cheeses weekly. They explain each one and where they are from and the flavor notes. It also includes honeycomb, almonds, and olives. A nice appetizer or side dish, we typically don't do dinner here just drinks and apps! Love this place and will be back for date night again soon! read more

So yesterday it was my birthday and we went to this fantastic place! First and foremost, Nate is just the best server ever! He's extremely attentive and very friendly! We started off with the charcuterie, which was good. We then ordered the Argentinian lamb ribs, which were amazing and very, very tender . The duck fat potatoes were also really delicious. But, I totally fell in love with their crispy brussels sprouts! They were one of the most delicious brussels sprouts I've ever had! This place is cute and cozy. It's pretty nice, but it definitely needs more work with organization. One of our entrees was forgotten and my friend had to wait for hers to be brought out. Even the table next to us had their order forgotten and not even placed after almost 20-25 minutes. The staff was so busy taking care of the rush of people that came to eat at the outside tables, that we were almost forgotten and weren't checked in with us all that much(we were seated inside). We kept having to ask for things with different servers because our server didn't even check in with us after she placed our order and it just felt very disorganized. Now onto the food; I got the Mike's dish that's a burger that in all honesty was good, but in reality tasted just like an in n out burger. But the patties were wayyyy too salty that I didn't even finish half of my burger. I also got the duck fat fries and in my opinion those were absolutely delicious and the sauce on the side was basically sour cream with chives and Dijon mustard. Look for growers Champagnes, zesty effervescent Albarinos, earthy bold Rijoa, Peppery Nebbiolo and the like. 50+ bottles, 20+ by the glass offerings making it very easy to mix and match to keep the tastings fresh and inventive. Low, off Strip markup. The food is designed to work with wine. Fresh, seasonal, simple with one caveat, dishes are aggressively seasoned. It brings the flavors of the food and wine together but those who don't drink may find it salty. Pairings are where the fun is at. A beefy, well cooked hanger steak dressed with chimichurri would logically go with a wine from Argentina but it worked amazingly well with both a Rijoa and even better with a big Nebbiolo. Buratta with berries, beet ribbons and basil oil brought to life by the zesty, lemony, Albarino. The list goes on and on with zero complaints on any food. Service is very friendly and attentive in an unpretentious way that makes you feel at ease. Depending on the night you go, they offer complementary winetasting for a specific winery. I decided to walk over and get some wine, excited to hear about the winery and what they were offering. the woman serving wine poured me a little bit of a tasting and started to tell me about where the wine was from and a little bit about the winery overall. She was cut off by a woman walking up who thought she was very important and needed to be spoken to. This woman turned to me and said 'oh, are you in the industry?' what industry... I am not sure. Did she mean the winery industry or the restaurant industry? She did not clarify, but she looked me up and down as if I was not relevant to what was going on with her and what she needed to say. I was confused because it's a complementary wine tasting you don't need to be a part of any industry to take advantage of this. I stood there and waited for more tastings to be poured for me as this woman was taking up space talking about herself. I eventually left and went to my seat after having two small tastings because I was over waiting and listening to this woman talk about herself. I love wine tastings because you get to learn about the winery and how they make the wine. Unfortunately, that did not happen for me and it really soured my experience. I sat at the bar and ordered the garlic shrimp, which came out with a disgusting smell. I was really worried about eating it because how unappetizing the smell was. It was actually delicious, to my surprise. I was very pleased, but also confused because the smell did not match the taste at all. The Buratta was also delicious and wish I would've gotten that first as an appetizer. Delicious! I enjoyed everything I tasted. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but I chose a flight so I could sample 3 and fell in love with the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Greenwing. So much going on and yet so smooth. Warming top notes of sun-kissed plums. On to the food... still delicious! But I do think a bit overpriced. The scallops were my favorite, and that pricing made sense. They were seared just so and perfectly buttery. The flavors from the peaches and prosciutto danced and sizzled across the tongue - has a surprising kick! - but I think the dish overall quite small to merit the cost. The peaches were so thinly sliced. Surely, they could be a bit thicker? The Pintxos Board states on the menu - "chef's selection of cheese and charcuterie." For $21, I thought that meant more than just 3 slices of factory-sliced cheese and small scoop of prosciutto for meat and cheese choices. So, that was a bit of a letdown. The pickled veggies were tasty, but I was expecting more cheese/meat variety. The bread pudding was delightful. Service was solid. Not exceptional. Our server brought everything steadily and inquired after us, but she only described a brief note here and there about the wines. I suppose I was hoping for more wine expertise? It's hard to write this review: I used to love Ada's, they served homemade pasta, a phenomenal pesto pizza and to die for drinks. Pork belly was okay: dry, overcooked, and the sauce was decent The charcuterie board was our safe order and it still was just okay, the honey and the aged cheese was the best part. The Nordic G+T was alright...basically a gin and tonic with a splash of pear on the top. Ambiance was amazing it's very nicely decorated and vibey Service: our server was sweet but she did stand on another table to put decorations up with her shoes on and didn't sanitize the table after or while we were dining, that was a bit of a shocker. I've been slacking on reviews since I haven't been going out much but this is one of my favorite places so I really should give the the love they deserve. The suite in Tivoli was one that kept turning over into new places so I wasn't too surprised when I showed up for the previouse place on a whim and saw that it was a new shop instead. Ada's hadn't been open long so I gave it a go and started with a Som Select tasting along with a plate of brussel sprouts, both were excellent. I've been back several times and once with our work group for one of our occasional after work get togethers there. Every time the wine, food and service have been superb and I've always left in a better mood then when I came in. I've sat at the bar for all the times I've been, except the group one, but they do have a large seating area inside and an outside area that looks comfortable. The interior isn't too loud either and I can't really remeber any music playing but if it is it is unobtrusive to conversation. You can tell the people like working there and they do have their regulars that enjoy the bar area. I can recommend, and do recommend all the time, Ada's for a nice night wether you are solo or in a small group. read more

I wanted oysters and called the night before to confirm since they weren't on the menu and it's done that way on purpose because they can sell out quickly. Ada's Wine is the perfect place for a lady date! Located inside Tivoli Village, Ada's Wine is a cozy wine bar with great wine, great food, and great vibes. A must to stop in and try when you're in the area! We had made a reservation online to dine in one if their outdoor greenhouses for happy hour on a Saturday afternoon. Make sure to note in the comments that you want to dine in the outdoor greenhouses so they can try to accommodate accordingly. I live in the Henderson area so getting all the way up to Tivoli Village can be a journey and due to traffic, my friends and I were running a bit late to our reservation so I called and the host assured me we'd be ok to dine still when we arrived. I have to say we had the best experience and would gladly dine in their cute little greenhouses again in the future! Our server checked on us often, made recommendations for food and wine selections, and even took our picture which was super sweet of her to do! If you're dining for happy hour, you must partake in the $25 wine and board specials. Seriously what a deal! My only critique is we tried the Pintxos board and there were a few items on that board that were heavy in vinegar so it didn't pair well with our pallets, but we didn't let that sour our experience. Another success story for James Trees. This laid back and delightful wine bar is located in Tivoli Village near Al Solito Posto. I have had the pleasure of wine tasting here twice and also tried several of the small dishes. The most recent time was with my husband who had never been before. We arrived and were seated at a nice table outside. Weather was fantastic along a delicious food and wine adventure. The interior is not large but they can seat quite a few two and four tops plus there is bar seating along with an outdoor patio. We happened to come on a Sunday and we're informed that it was Somm Sunday. They were hosting a guest sommelier offering specific flights of wine all from Italy. I wish we would have known sooner so we could have planned to participate but I believe it is ongoing on Sunday afternoons. After reviewing the wine menu I selected a 2017 Tempranillo Bodegas Riojanas 'Monte Real' Reserva from La Rioja, Spain. My husband ordered the 2016 Pinot Noir Francois Labet Ile de Beaute' from France. My Tempranillo was so rich and earthy. I really liked this wine and would order again. The Pinot Noir was just ok for me and my husband. I am not a huge fan of Pinot's but am a fan of French wine so this was a little disappointing. We also ordered the Blue Corn Tamale, Oysters and the Micks Royale with cheese. Every item ordered was just so fresh and tasty. I couldn't get over the Blue Corn Tamale. Absolutely outstanding and the pomegranate seeds made this dish explode with flavor plus presentation was on point. I do not drink so the wine bar aspect isn't the reason that brought me here. I did enjoy watching people select and try some wiones including Chef Stamper and my server. Ada's pre-Covid was a small place that specialized in Italian food with a good selection of wines. During the worst of the pandemic, the restaurant was a pizza pop up for awhile and then was shuttered. It is now reopened and their emphasis is on wine along with some tapas style Mediterranean plates. When I arrived in mid-afternoon, I was told to sit anywhere I wanted--at the bar, at their new high top table seating at least 8, a table inside or out on the patio. There are many seats outside and it will be good to go back when temperatures are cooler and the patio is a good option. I sat at the bar--a new addition. They have added a counter like bar in an L shape around the cooking area. It was there that my server, Kathleen greeted me, gave me menus, and brought me a bottle of black Honest Tea and a glass of ice. I looked at the menu and was soon ready to order. I got the Gambas al Ajillos--shrimp with a sauce of garlic, guajillo chile, and lemon. This is listed under the "Bigger things" section of the limited menu. I watched as Chef Stamper finished the dish and then brought it to my place. It is a eye catching dish. A small slice of frilled bread topped with pieces of shrimp and then a lot of oil, garlic, and other seasonings poured over top. It was a total winner. The oil and garlic juice left over made me almost tip the dish up so I could slurp down the rest. I wish I'd had another piece of bread to sop up the wonderful, falvorful sauce. Man does not live by Bigger Things alone, so I got the one dessert they have on the menu, Gatueau Basque. This is a great cake with a firm texture with cream between the layers of cake and black cherries on the side. It is very moist and was a super ending to my late lunch/early dinner. Chef Trees from Esther's Kitchen and Al Solito Posto has done a fine job in redefining Ada's. Executive chef Jackson Stamper has created with Trees a variety of Mediterranean style dishes that please the palate. There is more seating now that before with the ice cream sales area gone and that and more replaced with bar seating. There's also been a slight redo in decorations at Ada's. It was pleasant watching the number of people increase quickly after I arrived, enjoying their wine along with conversations. This certainly would be a good place to have a business meal. Some wine might help close the deal. But yesterday, it seemed like the customers were freinds enjoying a glass of wine and good companionship. My server, Kathleen, was an absolute delight.
