This was my first time to their new location since relocating--I'd been to their previous location in Tivoli Village many times! We were blessed with a wine savvy server who recommended an amazing bottle to us, but honestly all of their staff are somms, so excellence is par here. Food here is served similar to tapas--smaller plates to share and enjoy. We went with some cured wagyu, tuna tartare, halibut with harissa and carrots, and PEI mussels in a garlic coconut sauce. I couldn't eat the halibut because the sauce was just a bit too spicy for me, but the rest of it was all delicious!! The decor in their old location was honestly better in my opinion. With that said, it's still cozy here, just with darker hues. A fantastic dinner or date spot if you're seeking great wine and great food!

Mick's Royale With Cheese

This is my favorite spot downtown, chefs Jackson and Mick are always serving amazing food and it's such a good addition to DTLV. The wine is always amazing and curated thanks for Cat and their bartender Danny always makes us such well-crafted cocktails. This is the perfect fit for the former Esther's space.

Ada's Food and Wine Bar is now located downtown in the Arts District. Inside are TWO wine bars with one of the best award wining wine menus offered anywhere. Food is the other thing that is offered here. They offer an interesting menu of small globally inspired sharing plates. You are waited on by the staff that works as a team. We sat in the main dining area at a traditional table. The chairs are worn and you sink into them. They are also close together. Maybe too close because when a server got in-between my seat and the next table I had to move my elbow in or it would be on that person. We tried four plates. I felt differently about the plates. Mushroom Plate with miso fondue was amazing. Beet Plate with (non-traditional) salsa matcha was good Halibut and Carrots with (non-traditional) harissa was very good with perfectly cooked Halibut (that doesn't happen too often) but the harissa was so non-traditional that I feel it isn't harissa and is more a spicy creamy rich sauce. Tagliatelle with lemon-cheese cream was cooked perfect but was so over salted that I was not able to eat it. I have no idea on how my husband ate it. He said it was very salty to him but he ate it anyway. Someone did check on us and I did tell her that I wasn't able to eat the pasta dish because of how salty it was and she really was as nice as possible and did offer to get me something else but I also had the halibut plate to work on so I didn't want another plate. I really wanted to try another plate but was too full to get another plate. A manager checked on us and asked how everything was and we did mention on how salty the pasta was. She was as nice as can be and offered to remove the pasta dish from our check but we refused because my husband did eat the whole plate so we thought that we should pay for it. Parking is hit or miss but usually isn't too bad here in the Arts District and cost $7.00 for around two hours.

Wine flights!

I was so happy to see Ada's moved into the old Esther's location! Tbh I heard great things but rarely make the trip to the west side. Now that it's in the Arts District I can see myself going all the time! First of all they have an Amazing wine list. It's even a James Beard awarded wine list, and I can see why. My favorite part was the Somm picked wine flight. 4 (small-ish) glasses of wine for $35. You literally can't beat that. Especially when you have a wine list that's really hard to choose only one. Because of the Somm flight, I was able to try a dry royal tojkai. I didn't even know that existed as a wine and had only had the sweet kind before this night. The food is to die for. It's a James Trees restaurant so you know it's going to be good, and the Chef here is doing amazing things. We tried a ton of food and everything was perfect. Our surprise favorite was the whipped Brie. We ordered a second round it was so good. What a perfect start to a night out, or a nice date night to come in, get the wine fight and some whipped brie!? I can't imagine anything better.

Tagliatelle with lemon cream and pecorino. Lemon lovers rejoice.

In Vegas again, strong suggestions from people in the food industry to try Ada's in the Arts district. We made reservations and they were fairly crowded for a Wednesday night. Great wait staff who advised us next door was a free wine tasting and if we wanted to slip over before the appetizer came they could hold the appetizer. A very nice touch. The menu is small plates with very interesting pairings and the dishes flying by our table looking beautiful. Prices are very reasonable especially when coupled with the quality of food. We are going to be good tonight and not over-order. The PEI mussels in coconut broth with grilled bread, thinly sliced cucumbers and onions, chives and a hint of chili oil was awesome. It was almost a deconstructed traditional order of mussels in a perfectly savory broth. Homerun! The shrimp cooked in butter, garlic and chili oil was served over a wedge of delicious grilled bread that soaked up the uncious sauce. The dish was very salty. Our final dish was the tagliatelle with pecorino and lemon cream. It was similar to an Alfredo but dryer. The cheese was good but a bit overwhelming. I loved the lemon cream while others thought it was a bit bold. A small contrast to break up the cheesey taste would be to add a small amount of toasted bread crumbs and adding an additional texture to a cheesey entree. The menu is intriguing with many unique combinations and other selections I'd love to try. Ada's is a good selection, off strip with a great vibe, and innovative combinations by the kitchen staff. With two minor hitches, it should be added to you must investigate list. To Ada's, very nice job, you are never going to make everyone happy, but a great product, thank you.

Pasta with scallops

Dinner at Ada's was a great experience. The whipped Brie was amazing as well as the Halibut and pasta with scallops. There's an extensive wine list as well as a mystery wine if you're up for a surprise. Nice atmosphere and great service.

As much as we loved the old location the new location is nothing short of perfection!! Kat has created an amazing space full of whimsy and deliciousness! Everything was deliciously fantastic and the ambiance was fabulous!

Shrimp and Grits
Jen C.

Came upon Ada's for brunch and was pleasantly happy with my meal and the service. The decor is very boho with lots of fun things to look at. The restaurant itself is tiny but seating is quite comfy. As for the food, I got the shrimp and grits. It was all well seasoned but I found the grits combined with the sauce to be a bit too salty. The shrimp could have been a bit more delicate as it was a bit overcooked. Their sourdough is where it's at with a crunchy texture, lightly salty buttery exterior and good flavor overall. We got tea and they brought out a box to pick from and boiled the water in the back. We look forward to returning to trying the wine list that looked extensive and something they are known for when they move to their new location next month in the arts district in the old Esther's kitchen building.

Sat at the bar for a bite to eat + conversation! Sad to read they are leaving Tivoli at the end of the year! Bummer! It's been a good spot to meet friends & family! Beautiful restaurant decor, nice people and food great always! Service great as well! Love their place settings, interesting menu and wine / beverage choices. You'll be missed when you move but wishing you the best wherever you end up!

Wine flight
Talia S.

I loved my experience here! I didn't have a chance to try the food, but the wine was fantastic! I went for a wine tasting and was able to do a wine flight. It was very exciting because I could choose for them to select a mystery taste for me. I love trying new things and this brought me out of my comfort zone. The wine taste were great. The staff was warm and friendly. They really wanted us to enjoy our experience and if they could tell a wine wasn't our favorite, they did what they could to help us find something we did like. It was great to find somewhere to try some because it's almost impossible on the north side of town. I'm sad they are moving to a new location. I'll have to enjoy it while I can before they move!

Chorizo with peppers
Melissa N.

Such great food and wine flights are always fun! Service was fantastic and I love the feel of the restaurant. It was a bit warm to be outside but I won't mind in more tolerable weather conditions. Parking is easy at Tivoli Village. We arrived around 4 pm on a Friday and were seated immediately. My husband picked a customized flight and really enjoyed it. The chorizo with peppers were yummy. The bent river cheese and apricot was delicious. The mussels in coconut broth was so yum. The lamb ribs were inhaled and immediately gone. Everything tasted great, very well executed. I highly recommend!!

Wow. Just wow. Ada's absolutely crushed it. I cannot recommend this place enough. Every single dish we ordered ranged from really good to next-level amazing. The mushroom fondue was insanely good...rich, savory, and impossible to stop eating. The skirt steak was phenomenal, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Service was top-tier: friendly, attentive, and on point the entire time. The ambience is spot-on too...upscale but still comfortable and inviting. This is 100% a place I'll be coming back to again and again. great

Whipped Brie & wagu
Heather L.

Ada's has only been open for a few months and took over the old Esther's spot. You will not be disappointed! The service is amazing - bartenders are very knowledgeable, manager is awesome and always checking on guests, servers are great. But the star of the show is the food. The menu may be vague but the flavors in each dish will surprise you. Pictured are the whipped Brie with blackberry & honey, cured wago + beef fat, and the tagliatelle with clams and green garlic. The star of the show was the pasta because I wanted to bathe in the herb butter sauce with the chefs kiss of lemon added. I was too full for dessert but that didn't stop me from looking at the menu and wishing I had 6 stomachs so I could try it all.

I got prosecco and my partner got Pinot noir from the happy hour and tbh they were delicious. My partner drinks wine more often than me (I hate the dry taste of wine lol) but I wanted to come to try something new. We ordered the Waffle and Caviar, Sausage Roll, Brushetta from the happy hour and the Chef's Tasting board. The Waffle and Caviar was super flavorful! The touch of masago was 10/10 paired with the waffle and cream sauce! Ugh my fav truly. Next we got the Brushetta and my partner loved it. He said the tomatoes were delicious and paired well with the bread and sauce it was marinated with. I did try a bite even though I'm a tomato hater but man you can tell the tomatoes were fresh. I had a piece with no tomatoes because I loved whatever was on top as whatever the tomatoes were marinated in! Next came the Sausage Rolls and man were they delicious paired with their homemade cheese dip! I don't think I'd get again because it's quite heavy with the wine but def glad I tried. Lastly was the Chef's Tasting Board... this was so good. You could tell the cheese and meats were fresh and paired very well all together. The main star for me for that platter was the bread dipped in that garlic butter balsamic + oil... ugh delicious. I can't wait to get the membership and go back.

Today, I arrived around 3:00 PM and asked for an inside table for six. I was told there would be an event at 5:00 PM and that we couldn't stay because she couldn't "a bunch of screaming babies there". I told her we would be in-out within the hour and she still suggested I leave! My baby wasn't fussing, she was peaceful inside her bassinet stroller! I left feeling unwelcome, the place was absolutely dead. The only customers were sitting at the bar. As a new mom, it's already challenging enough, and being refused service because I have a stroller was disheartening. I definitely won't return. We went somewhere else, finished by 4:00 pm and my baby slept! If you aren't going to be child friendly, FINE -- put out a sign so moms know not to come here for dinner.

We had a confirmed reservation for Friday, December 19, 2025 at 6:30 PM for a party of seven. The reservation was made online, accepted, and confirmed by email. I even received an email the day before asking me to confirm that we would be there, which I did. On top of that, I called the night before with questions about the menu. Although there is no direct phone line to The Wine Cellar, I was connected to a concierge who, while not fully familiar with every detail, took the time to review the website and menu with me. At no point was there any indication that the wine cellar would be closed. Everything showed as open, normal hours, reservations active. We arrived on time for our reservation and found the place completely closed. This was not a casual drop-in. It took effort to get this group together. We had friends in town visiting who Ubered to the location from The Strip, we drove in from North Summerlin, and others came from Henderson. We dressed up in holiday attire and planned this as a special night out leading into Christmas. It mattered to us. Instead, we were left standing there confused and disappointed, and ended up spending the rest of the evening sitting at another bar in the casino eating nachos. Not exactly the Napa-inspired wine experience we were excited about. If a business is closed, it should not be accepting online reservations, sending confirmation emails, or asking guests to reconfirm their attendance. Employees and concierge staff should be aware of closures. And if something truly unexpected happened, a facility issue or last-minute closure, then someone should be contacting guests with confirmed reservations. That would not have been difficult. We relocated to Las Vegas from Northern California years ago and were genuinely excited to visit a Napa inspired Wine Cellar because we miss that wine culture and wanted to share it with friends. As locals, it is incredibly disappointing to see a business handled this way. I want to support places where I live, but this experience left us frustrated and upset. This was a big letdown and, honestly, a shame.

We walked right in & the place was dead with only 2 other tables filled. We got seated right away & service was polite & attentive. The ambiance felt like you're in a vintage cave similar to one of the wineries we've been to Napa. It felt relaxing & personable. Hubby ordered the worldwide red wine adventure which included 3 flights...a Malbec, Tempranillo, & Chianti. I had the Joe's the best of the best Cabernet which included 3 different pours of Cabernet. I'm from LA & have always been into cabs but recently have transitioned to old world wines bc it pairs better with food in my opinion. However, hubby suggested we have an open mind & order both the old world & new world wines. Surprisingly, I thought the cabs tasted better than the old world wines. The cabs listed on the menu are ones that I've never had before & it was bold as expected but solid. I've had better old world wines so it was just okay. With that being said, I don't mind coming back to try other wines on the menu.
