You can tell she enjoys doing this and takes pride in her work. She isn't someone just going through the motions. I am very impressed with my brows and the overall experience. A little run down of what happens - you make a consult appointment and then go in for the consult. She explains the process and actually outlines the areas where your brows should be. If you decide to proceed, you then make an appointment for the microblading. This appointment takes approx. 1 1/2 hours. I will admit that it is slightly uncomfortable when she first starts but she then adds a numbing cream and you can no longer feel it. You then make your appt for approx 6 weeks for a fill. Riki gives you a detailed sheet with what to expect and do over the next few weeks. She also gives you the items needed for the initial few weeks - cleanser, ointment to be applied. You cannot exercise to where you sweat for 2 weeks - you've been warned ladies! LOL - this part was a little frustrating for me but I got my run done in the morning before going and just knew what to expect and thought about long term and how I didn't want to impact the look, plus I just spent all of that money, there was no way I was damaging her awesome work! The second week, I had a little flaking and they were a little itchy. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend going here, if you are considering microblading.

I was always afraid that my wedding makeup would end up looking too overdone, but Riki completely dispelled those fears. I've never seen some deftly transition between makeup styles. For my bridesmaid who wanted it heavier, she got it. For my mom who doesn't wear makeup and wanted just a touch of it, she got it. If you explain to Riki what you want (even in general terms) she makes it happen. She's a makeup magician! And such a calming presence too. Truly, can't thank her enough for making me feel and look like myself on my wedding day!

Jessica's personality is like a warm mom hug when you walk in. Her fine line tattoos are so perfect that you can't help but be happy with the results... Jenn's that lovable introvert & I love talking with her about games, horror movies, & other topics she is into. Jess & her together is absolutely couples goals btw. Jenn's tattoo artistry is absolutely amazing... Alecia is new to the shop but she is excited & listens very well to direction from her bosses. I see big things in her future. Their Flash Sale Events are so fun & I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the bonus lady of Cordero Collective Tattoo & that is Jess' mom who during those keeps things organized & going. You can tell she cares about every client coming in & offers up a piece of candy or a funny joke to keep anyone's mind at ease who might be nervous. I love supporting Queer Female Tattoo Artists in a Cis Male Dominated field. These 3 will get sick of me with how much they'll see me in their futures as I have plans for more tattoos with all of them & if you're reading this, you should too...

Sorry Yelp engineering team-- I think that 5 stars might not be enough for Hairanoia…read more I was lucky enough to be able to schedule an appointment last minute, presumably due to a cancellation. Note that many of the stylists, especially the owner Michael, tend to book out for months. The online booking system was super simple to navigate, and gave me text updates. My appointment was in the evening, which in itself is a major plus. About an hour before my scheduled time, Michael called me and told me he could accommodate me 45 minutes earlier, which was a major plus. The shop was popping when I arrived-- phones ringing, customers popping in, even though it was the evening. The decor is really charming. Lots of interesting artwork and knick-knacks to catch the eye. When Michael asked, "what are we doing today?" I told him the color I wanted and he took the reins from there, which I appreciated, because I'm not the kind of person who goes to salons very often. Later in the appointment, he also asked if he could do a certain cut he thought would look good, and I said "go for it." I'm not the kind of client that has a specific vision in mind so I'm grateful when stylists use their expertise (but ask you.) Also, Michael explained that the dye he chose was less damaging and would be better suited for my hair, and he also recommended a few other products I should use. Some salons color your hair before they cut it, but I had a lot coming off, so Michael did a quick trim first. He cut it so quickly, I didn't even notice that my hair was suddenly 3-4 inches shorter until I glanced behind me and saw the floor littered with my split ends. Seriously, think this man might be some kind of ninja. When it came time to process the color, Michael asked me if I wanted to sit outside. This was the most unexpected delight of the evening. It turns out, they set up a little outdoor area with gravel, chairs, shade umbrellas, and even a fountain to work with COVID restrictions last year, and decided to bring it back this year. This was such a lovely surprise, and made for an unparalleled hair appointment experience. I don't get outside as much as I'd like to, so I appreciated getting a minute to sit in the sun. Granted, the neighbors were playing loud music so it was not perhaps quite as serene as expected, but I didn't mind so much. Throughout the visit Michael was very nice, as was the rest of the staff. My hair came out nice and the price was very reasonable. In fact, it was like reverse sticker shock-- I was actually surprised at how inexpensive it was. As someone with long hair, I tend to get charged more for these services-- I think because most stylists tend to do color first. Both the inside and outside areas of the salon were beautiful. Definitely recommend this one-- especially in the warm months when you can catch a little sunshine while your hair sets!
