We loved this hotel so much we extended our stay in Florence by a day.
This boutique hotel is located in an "Hotel Particulier" within the old walls of the city. In fact, the back of the extensive garden (that has its own website) is the city wall. There are 9 rooms, each with its own theme, and each with a gorgeous claw foot tub.
Breakfast is served in a gorgeous living room with hand-painted relief ceiling, chandelier, and beautiful antique hard wood floors. Left over biscuits are made available to nibble on throughout the day. There's an "honesty" fridge with drinks. You can eat in the living room, or on the enormous deck overlooking the gardens.
Florence is a beautiful city. But no matter where they had located this hotel, it would be worth a trip in and of itself. read more
