Man, I've been car searching for about a month and when I thought hope in buying a car was gone, I…read morecame here and found what I was looking for. Ryan and Raul and the mechanics were nothing but honest and friendly. If Youre looking for a car dealership that you can trust, this is the place. Left with a 2017 Hyundai senota. For sure going to recommend this dealership to my family and friends !!!!

I worked with salesman Frank here. He was super helpful and accommodating. The small lot is loaded…read morewith cars in a wide range of prices to fit any budget. But that's just the beginning. They will bend over backwards to get you financed if at all possible. There was nothing I asked for or issue I needed work with that I was told "No". Maybe wait or let me see how I can make that work ... but never No. I'm told they sell 50 cars a month, and many of the personnel have experience from several of the larger corporate dealerships in town. And a certified mechanic on duty. They know what they are doing. The know the types of cars El Pasoans want and need with our environment. In the end due to surprise circumstances I didn't get the car I was looking at but I highly recommend anyone looking on a budget for a used car give West Star Auto Group a shot. Used car lots can make you feel like they are trying to "get to you" sometimes. But Frank left me feeling like someone who had my interests and needs at the forefront, with no tricks or rug pulling some places can exhibit.

"F" rating at the Better Business Bureau. 7 complaints,…read moreAntunez hasn't answered a single one. Had I read the online reviews and complaints, I wouldn't have dealt with them, but I thought I was dealing with a private individual, not a car lot. It's a scam the Texas DMV told me they'd seen before. They are also swapping dealer plates on cars, which is HIGHLY illegal. I took photos...but more on that at the end. Here's how their scam works: John Veramontes, salesman for Antunez advertises a car on Facebook Marketplace, posing as a private seller. He doesn't tell you the vehicle is from a car lot. Car photos for the ad are taken somewhere away from the lot so you don't see the junk cars in the background. He tells you to meet him at a location in Chaparral New Mexico, about 20 miles away from the lot, at his house. (He lives with his parents). He only communicates via text or Facebook. This way, you don't know your talking to a dealer, you don't see the junk cars in the background and don't read the "F" rating at the Better Business Bureau. Here's how he got me: I saw an ad for a Ford F150. I'm in Lubbock, 6 hours away. I made an appointment with John to pick up the truck, I brought cash for the transaction, got a rental car. He gave me the address in Chaparral to pick up the truck. I let him know when I was leaving Lubbock and when to expect me. When I arrived in El Paso he informed me he sold the truck to someone else then promptly blocked me. I was out almost $600 in rental car, gas, hotel, day off work. When he blocked me, I drove to the address he provided anyway. When I arrived, he was sitting in a car, in the driveway, in a car that didn't match the dealer plates on it. (Dealer plates have the car make and model printed on them). He was in a Chevy Camaro. Dealer plate was from a Lincoln Continental. I took photos of everything, gave him a piece of my mind. Had to stay over in a hotel, too late to drive 6 hours back home. Had to keep the rental car an extra day too. This place is a scam. I've forwarded the photos of the plate switching to the Texas DMV and I've retained an attorney to sue John and Antunez. I'll be seeking restitution as well as punitive damages to ensure they never do something like this to anyone else.
