This small thrift store has it all. Except parking. one spot is for donation, two handicap and about 8 spots for customers. Technically you are not supposed to park in the neighboring business. Off street parking is available but it can be a short or long walk. I have been there three times so far. the store is well staffed. Probably too well staffed. On my last visit an employee was keeping low in the back of the retail area playing a video game on his phone. I have had great interactions with other employee. The store has two color tag sales each week one for 50% the other 75% off. also they have incentive sales to bring in shoppers. Check the website. How one views the pricing is subjective. I personally find the pricing on the most affordable. so far this is the only thrift store that I have found that has a free to sign up loyalty program. I have been a long time donator to Acts Thrift store, in fact we love some of the people that work there. But in the last three years I have noticed that special items I've dropped off never make it to the shelf-and we go to both Acts stores at the same time. I donated 400 large special books and only three made it to there shelves. Today ( Aug. 17th 2021) I got to see first hand what happens to your stuff that the sorters in the back like. I donated a huge roll around high impact plastic tool box that broke down to two units. I paid $250.00 for it and I wanted the churches that Acts sponsors, get a profit. But when I rolled it up to the back door, the receiver said hey that's nice and I said I wanted Acts to make a profit, he said he would give them some money. He took it over to his car and put it in the back. I told the guy behind the counter what the guy did and he got real quite. I can't believe that a thrift store that's suppose to be Godly has some employees that use this to steal or grab things to sell on ebay. Your nice items never even make it to the shelf. Yes they do have some wonderful employees, but all it takes are one or two to destroy what God has set up. I can't trust them anymore, I'd rather give my items to other thrift stores that have better security. read more

It was an ok place for me, I didn't really like any clothing that I saw when I was here. Lots of shoes and boots in ok quality. Lots of heavy fur coats/trenchcoats. Large boutique area with lots of purses. Plenty of housewares and books, though no Harry Potter since that was my main reason to be here. read more

The Pasadena location is very helpful to those who are donating, in my experience. I have donated our former belongings there, based on the recommendation of family who shop there. As a donator, they have been welcoming and clear in their communication. They have been grateful and kind at the donation center and when called to get information. The parking lot is small and busy and sometimes requires patience. I definitely recommend this business for giving. read more

I aimed to thrift shop in Pasadena and I'm so glad I did! The people that work here are SO NICE and polite to my friend and I! The items were in good condition (or maybe just needed a good rinse). PARKING SUCKS!!!! This store used to be awesome. Now they have 7 parking spots and share a parking lot with a 7-Eleven. Now there is no furniture and I never find anything when I go in there since they've moved to the new location. Best non-profit thrift store. Worth donating here even if the hours they accept donations are a bit limited. They support local non-profits. You can indicate on your donation which one you want it to go for. This store is smaller, parking is limited, but I feel good about supporting them. Staff is friendly, prices are good. Worth a stop for shopping too. The larger ACTS store in Pomona is great if you're in the area. Certain color tags are 50 or 75% off, colors change on Mondays. I drove thirty miles yesterday to explore their once unparalleled collection of VHS tapes only to discover a new location that is a mere shell of the glory it once possessed. I'm not sure why they closed down/downsized. Maybe they were just too amazing. But now the store has a very moderate selection with few intriguing choices for a young man. My go to place for thrifting, took my little cousin here recently and she had a blast as her first thrift adventure. Not as organized/clean as Goodwill but the variety you find here is gold. I recently picked up a new looking cashmere cowl-neck sweater for my mom for something like $6 before applied discounts! On top of the cheap prices, each day of the week corresponds to discounts on various colored tags. Use your Yelp App peoples, by checking in you can get something like 10% off. Suggest this place for the more creative folks for costuming, you can find cheap items since Halloween is coming up. Save the environment a little more, instead of buying something new, just re-make an item you find here! We had heard great things about this thrift store and when we were in the area, we specifically made it a must to come here. The parking lot is a bit small but it is sufficient for the amount of people who come in and out. There is also street parking available if there is none in the lot. As we were walking into the store, there were lots of wooden furniture out for purchase. Really wish that we had space in our house for some because some were great and priced well! Inside, there are lots of selections and everything is divided into sections. I do have to say that this is one of the most organized thrift stores that I have ever been to. Some of the baby clothes still even had tags on them! I am guessing that some of the clothing stores donate what cannot be sold. We did not come in needing to purchase anything but to have a look around. There was this old piano with candlestick holders, what a great find if you are into vintage items. With any thrift store as well, the selections always change and you never know what you can find. It's like a treasure hunt! Overall, decently priced and organized! read more

Their clothes were really cheap and best of all, there are weekly discounts that are applied to certain tagged items! This is a smaller one off thrift shop that has some interesting items... you definitely have to hunt when you are in here... Butt he advantage is that it isnt giant. However, they have great prices. The staff is pretty friendly as well. Unfortunately for me this store like most thrift shops is almost entirely filled with womens attire. The other items are nice and numerous, 2 rows of mens attire, a row of childrens attire, a row of kitchen/household, a large section of shoes and sports gear/toys. Consequently, they have a bit of everything. I didnt see hardly any jewelry either. This store though is extremely limited. Not just with their space and items, but also their parking lot. Be ready to park somewhere else if you want to come here as they may be out of spots. I got the last one when I went and 4 other cars followed me into the lot. So overall its an average small thrift shop without the high value finds that I look for, but if you want decent ladies clothes, well this is nice find I am sure... read more

Exactly what i expected: Small location, bad smell and not too much variation. The location is small so items are well organized in hangers but other than that, most items are disorganized. The store has the "typical thrift store" smell but awfully strong. Most of the clothes i scanned through were worn while some other items were in great condition. Prices are very alike to goodwill: $7.00 jeans and $5.00 shirts and $4-$6 sweaters. Also, the asian cashier wasn't very nice. She was spitting nuggies out in a napkin as she rung me up. I have been thrift store shopping recently and this was one on my stops, I was driving around the area and decided to check it out. This place is located in a very small plaza next door to a convenience store so there is parking but it's still a tight squeeze and from my personal experience be carful driving in and out because all the local people didn't seem to care how fast they were pulling in and out of this parking lot (SMH). This area is not the nicest or the cleanest area around so it might seem a little unsafe. I walked into to the store to be greeted and smiled by the nicest cashier and even though I didn't make a purchase I heard her the whole time I was looking around (that's how small the store is) she was super nice and helpful. I was able to walk in and out the store in less then about 5min cause they don't really have much stuff and the stuff they did have wasn't in the best condition. Hope this helps you :) read more

Hello all, I'm a loyal Acts supporter. I shop here every chance I get. They have the best deals in town, and if you are smart and use all of their offers, you end up spending pennies on the dollar. I have never had any items that did not work after Taking them home ,Everything worked. I suggest buying the Yelp deal- 20$ for 30$. Buy the voucher on Yelp the use it on a Thursday or Saturday-on those days it's30-40% off on your total purchase!! I highly recommend this deal. Let me say also that All the staff is welcoming, happy and helpful. Giovanni,Cam -the most petite lady you ever met,Destiny, and Stef and the Volunteers sometimes even other customers!
