Spoke with Greg, who was very helpful and accommodating. Even though I wasn't in a rush, Greg showed up in under 24 hours, pumped my tank and was even kind enough to explain the whole process to me and give me tips on proper aerobic system care and preventative maintenance. The whole operation took less than an hour. Local to Parker County TX but they service all surrounding areas. Our septic had backed up and overflowed and after handling all the damage control we needed someone to come and pump. Now, a little background here. I have experience working with contractors and handymen on 2 continents, and I have been fighting the Yelp battle for good service for over a year now, whilst I tried to get my house ready to sell. Also, keep in mind that this was the last week of the year, and most businesses were shutdown for the holidays. That being said, and this is going to sound funny, but it was the people who pumped my septic who gave me the best customer service I've ever received. No joke. Andrea (who handles the appointments over the phone) was warm, personable, and SO very considerate. She said they were pretty well booked, but when I explained my emergency, she somehow managed to fit me in just before the weekend! She kept me updated every step of the way. When Austin (hope I got his name right) arrived, he was the ideal of what everyone who hires a contractor hopes arrives at their home. He was on time, courteous, professional, friendly. He dug up the holes without any complaint. (Which wasn't easy, as I was his fourth customer of the day, and there were roots like you wouldn't believe.) And he chatted with me like we were old friends while he took extra time to rinse out the effluent tank. They really are just a small family, business, I found out, who own the truck and decided to go into this line of work after their own septic 'refunded' on them. TLDR: All in all, DFW Septic did everything right, and I only wish they were in a different line of work, so I could call upon their services more often!

As for my experience, I have used Dusty Underwood Plumbing on a number of occasions. I had a leak fixed then I had an outside faucet installed, a tub installed, a toilet installed, and some pipes replaced under the house. Each experience was utterly and completely positive. The guys at Dusty Underwood Plumbing explained charges to me and never tried to sell me things I didn't need. Online reviews are hit and miss, so if you aren't convinced by my positive experiences, check out the scores of reviews on other sites that laud the expertise and integrity of this local business.

Instead, they sent a driver with only a pumping truck, who didn't know about the other issues and could only pump the septic. For the sprinkler issue, I received a generic and overpriced quote (~$500) to install two new heads when I simply needed one reinstalled. Worse, I was told I'd have to accept that quote just to get a technician to diagnose the real problem. When I called to clarify, I was informed I'd need to pay $150 for a visit to assess the issue -- which is exactly what I thought I had already scheduled. To top it off, their truck damaged my driveway. I've attached a picture and will be sharing this experience on other platforms to help others avoid the same. Disappointing service overall.

Totally unreliable and pathological liar. Does not stand behind his work. Recently discovered…read morejets of drip field water bubbling and shooting up through the soil that this clown hack neglected to prime and glue several of the PVC fitting joints that comprise the input and return manifold structure that distributes the clean tank water out to, around, and back through subterranean drip tube field. Photos of 1 joint absent of any primer and glue that had completely separated is attached here. Had it been primed and glued as required by code, Magnolia tree roots shown would never have been able to infiltrate. Upon onsite inspection to confirm, Mr. Boyd promised eye-to-eye with a handshake to return within 1 to 2-weeks maximum to dig up all defectively installed PVC joints and properly reinstall (with required primer and glue) as needed to resolve all leaks. Then 1-week later responded to a text to say he has been delayed and will do the job by the end of the next week. Finally on day-14 (end of the next week), after not showing and dodging and ignoring several text and calls to confirm, Mr. Boyd instead, calls back late in the evening. Clearly by measure of his overly slurred speech and hugely surly tone of voice in a well inebriated state of mind (i.e. IMO drunk, high, or both). Mr. Boyd then proceeded with a very long angry toned diatribe about how it is not not required professionally nor per building code to prime and glue the PVC joints that form the drip field delivery and return plumbing. A totally crazy and intentionally dishonest claim clearly intended to argue his way out of fixing his totally defective workmanship. Mr. Boyd's seemingly endless diatribe included accusations, slights, and outright insults pertaining to my character and person. He refused to answer any direct questions pertaining to the work or the insanely false things that he was accusing me (the customer) personally of having done. Ultimately, the call ended with my asking point blank if he's going to come do the job to fix the leak(s) as he'd promised or not, to which he answered a resounding "No". Hence, all who read this review are highly advised to stay way clear of this dishonest, deceptive, and totally unqualified hack and clown show. Unfortunate that this review board does not allow for posting of ZERO stars. Otherwise, I'd do so.
