Highly Recommended: T & L recently replaced my aerobic septic system. Their Statement of Work and pricing were more detailed than other companies interviewed, leaving no "surprises" when the job was completed. The work crew was experienced, professional, and considerate . During installation, extra care was taken around my irrigation system, buried fiber optic cable, and young trees close to the work site. The different phases of tear down and new installation were properly timed to prevent down time. It took a while for them to show up but they showed and got our tanks emptied. They suggested there might be an issue with the pump so I told them we would need to schedule that work. Well, unknown to me, a new driveway apron that was barely 2 months old was damaged by their septic truck driving over a concrete safety rail. I called them and said I could send them pics of the damage their truck had done. They told me they don't pay for damages but went through the motion of me sending them the pics. She said she consulted with the owner and "we don't pay for damages, we don't do that". The repair cost was $250 and they were willing to forego recurring revenue so as not to pay for the damages their truck and driver did. We had to call another company for work on the pump and they showed up the next day and it was all done and working. I would suggest Acton Septic Inc 940-548-5778 for any of your septic needs. T&L doesn't deserve your business if they can't take responsibility for damage they cause. read more

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! We paid over $600+ for service and a in a weeks time our tank was full again!! They would not come back out a pump again unless we paid another $575 again!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

Once they finally got me on their schedule everything went smoothly. When a person is having a septic problem it's always something we want done right now, unfortunately that's not how it works. I called them to come out and inspect old or quote if unfixable. Was not told of a service fee. In fact the websites suggest it will be free. No return call. No follow up. Just a call to pay their fee? Not happy. read more

I've been with T & L septic for years and this year haven't had a a inspection yet with excuses always they can't get in. I keep my gates locked have a key in a key box so their shouldn't be any excuse they can't get the inspection done. I have called them and given the box code 4 times supposed to have it on their paper work so no reason if I'm not home they have no excuse to do my inspection. This last time the tech called left me a message he was there to do inspection and would leave my report on the door. Got home no report called the office and was told they would E-mail a copy of report haven't received it yet. Guess it was a blow me off again. Guess their techs need to come out so I can teach them all at once how to read the paperwork for info to open key box. Such a simple request and have given them the opportunity to do their job with access availability. Such a disappointment with a company I've had for a long time. This is pathetic for incompetence for a easy solution I have given them. I will find another company if they fail to do another inspection. As we all know companies don't wish to lose customers but have paid my yearly contract, given access to them by key and they keep saying they don't have access to my yard. read more

I related to them what I wanted done and they walked me through several options which ultimately costed hundreds (not thousands) of dollars to implement. So many companies to choose from but who can one trust to best handle it? Tom and his team at T&L turned out to be a perfect choice. From a recent inspection, I learned that aeration was not taking place in the system so, I called T&L at the recommendation of another business owner in the area, and they sent David today who was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, on time and effective. He assessed, troubleshoot and corrected the problem with minimal digging in less than two hours. Was then handed a reasonable invoice and could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. Extra fees you can't get away from! I called them out because my conventional system was full and needed to be pumped. They were out the next day and even offered same day. They were more expensive then others on the same service but sold their services as more detailed and professional finished product. Truck arrived in time and called before heading my way to ensure we were ready. This company will charge $50 (December 2020) to dig up the lids on your system which other companies didn't so I did the digging the night before. When I was contacted with a run down of their work they told me they charged an additional $125 because "the tanks were full (what the paperwork said)" or slightly over full based on the phone call. Once they pumped it I was stuck with that extra fee. They even claimed they were doing me a favor cause they normally charge $125 per tank but this time they would only charge the one time... thank you very much for that I guess. They can't put the extra fluids back for sanitary reason and they never informed me of the additional charge prior to doing the work. Very shady practices. I told the tech I was not happy about it and I called the office to inform them of my complaint. The office staff did apologize for not explaining the additional fees and the tech not informing me but that it was in line with their fee schedule and... again... they had done me a favor by not charge it a second time. Well thanks but no thank you and next time I will call the cheaper guy... if there are additional fees I might get to T and L's base price! read more
