No more wasted $ on the fridge filter!! Since the installation, RainSoft technicians have been out to my home roughly eight times attempting to fix the same recurring issues, yet the system still does not function properly. Despite repeated service visits, the problems are never fully resolved--only temporarily addressed, if at all. I have contacted the company multiple times to explain that I am no longer willing to continue paying for a system that does not work and has required constant service. Instead of offering a real resolution, replacement, or meaningful accountability, they continue to push sending out yet another technician to "fix" the same problem again. After more than two years of inconvenience, wasted time, and frustration, it is clear this system is unreliable and the customer support process is ineffective. I expected a premium product and dependable service, and unfortunately RainSoft has not delivered on either. I would strongly caution anyone considering this system to do thorough research before committing.

It costs a lot to have it uninstalled and then almost double to have it reinstalled depending on where you move. Also many states/localities do not even allow their salt style system so now you have these giant pieces of worthless equipment. STAY AWAY!

Due to the fact that Kinetico is a protected territorial monopoly, I have no choice but to contract with them for annual service. I called 6 weeks ago to make an appointment. Waited THREE weeks and no call-back. Called again and made an appointment for 6/18/2026. Today while waiting, I had a real bad feeling about them standing me up, so I called them. Turned out they had moved my appointment to 7/2/2026 without one single phone call notification. They were unapologetic about the situation. What a pathetic business.
