I spoke with Erik, the Drain Man, early in the morning and he came out on the same day to address a…read morepretty serious clog. Our drains had produced this black oily sludge which Erik explained was the aftermath of years of oil and soap. It was truly a stressful mess. Early that morning, we actually had another plumber who used a traditional drain auger to attempt clearing the drain, but it did not work. Erik used a hydrojet that easily eliminated the black ooze. Afterwards, he used a camera to probe the inner guts of the drain to insure everything was clear. Erik is truly a professional and I will definitely have him back again to maintain these old cast iron drains. On top of that, his pricing is fair and reasonable. I recommend the Drain Man for all your clogged drain needs.

Then when he scheduled a time to come by on short-notice (one hour in advance), he was a no show. This required me moving a lot of stuff around the garage, (which he knew had to be done) which required me moving it back in which was a pain. (I suspect he intentionally wanted to do this to me because he was mad at me for doing my due diligence as a customer to make sure I am frugal with my money.) Long story short, If you want his quote, make sure to reach out to every possible handyman BEFORE talking to this service or you risk having my same experience.
