I went up into the attic to look for frost on my roof decking boards as they suggested.. Sure enough there was a nice thick layer of frost. Which meant I needed some baffles installed to allow air to flow better. I did my research and found this company to be the best in the area. Jerry came out and took a look at was needed. Gave me a no fuss reasonable quote and went on his way. I approved the quote about an hour later. The quote Included pulling current insulation away from soffits and edge drip side vents, installing baffles in all rafters in the attic. Push insulation back. Then lay a nice fresh new coat of cellulose insulation. The team arrived as scheduled, they laid down protective cloth before starting any work on my home and started working. The lead tech took photos of each phase to show me the work being done. at each step. The team was super friendly, and very efficient. Now I'm no insulation expert. But from what I could tell, they did a great job. They cleaned up both inside and outside of my house very well. The office staff were also super awesome. Melissa had my appointment scheduled very quickly. In addition, she also pre-filled out all the paperwork I needed to get a rebate from consumers energy. I know for me when a company can take any stress off of you and help you with some paperwork. That's a great thing . I would highly recommend this company for your insulation needs. The install crew was friendly, according to my mom, and they left the place spotless. We were getting estimates to add insulation to our attic because it does settle over time and ours was built eleven years ago. We already had two companies out for estimates. The first one went into the attic and took a good look around before giving us an estimate. The second one didn't even go into the attic but based his estimate by measuring square footage in the basement. The third one was Stoney from BlownInsulationMI.com who, like the first one, went up into the attic to check it out. When he finished, based on what he saw, he explained that he felt our insulation had settled but was still adequate (when built in 2009, we paid for extra insulation above the minimum requirements). He said he would be happy to sell us some insulation, but the amount they would recommend would not affect our heating-and-cooling bills enough to make it worth the investment. We appreciated his honesty and that he took the time to explain his assessment and how he came to that conclusion. He was very knowledgeable and has decades of experience to back what he says. If we have a need for the future, this company would be on the top of our list. Give them a call.

He found that I had insulation behind the exterior walls, so did not try to sell me insulation for the walls that I did not need. (The big companies that just send out the fast talking sales guys were THOUSANDS more expensive than Accurate's quote). The first thing they did when they showed up to do the work was put down drop clothes anywhere they would be walking. They placed baffles in every run, they re positioned numerous old bats of insulation that were left in the attic, and used the same cellulose insulation (Applegate) that the big companies use. They added a long run of ridge venting, and ventilated the garage. And they placed visible depth gauges in the attic to show how thick the cellulose was.
